Haven't been impressed with the Witches for a couple of months now. If the Witches don't get it right in the play-offs then Ipswich will be the biggest disappointment of the 2025 season and I include Birmingham and Oxford in that statement.

100% as soon as the rain came in certain riders had it fixated into their minds that they weren't going to ride no matter how much track work took place. Especially with it being a GP weekend as well.

Call me a moron all you like but the fact of the matter is this meeting had a 0% chance of going ahead no matter how much track work they done because certain riders were always going to dictate a call off.

And that's why Speedway is finished in the UK, Got no chance of attracting new fans unfortunately. No intention of getting the meeting on but they wanted to squeeze as much money out of the punters as possible so they left them standing around for an hour.

Just goes to show how weak some teams are in the Ekstraliga this year when Nicki P tries to hand ZG a meeting on a silver platter against a very poor Rybnik side and they still can't take the opportunity presented to them.

From Day 1 I said it wasn't financially viable to run in all three leagues. Higher ups need to take some responsibility in this as well imo and maybe they should help Oxford out financially.

Serious change is needed at Oxford if they're not paying riders. They get battered every week so the wage bill can't be that deep, Imagine what it would be like if they actually managed to be competitive and win meetings.

I'm basing it off current form only, Other than last night you're going back to meetings that took place a couple / few months ago when it comes to the BP statement. Currenly state of play would show that Leicester are a side that's been on a very good run of form for a while now and a team who've already got silverware to show for it and they've still got improvement in the side to come once Becker settles back in. Where's Ipswich aren't on the same form as they were at the start of the season and improvements are needed from various riders whilst also hoping that Jenkins can redescover his pre-injury form once he returns in place of Edwards.

The worrying thing for me is that Ipswich lost by 8 when Becker isn't up to speed on British tracks yet since his injury. Leicester can only get stronger once Becker settles back in.

Full credit to Leicester and they should do the double this year and well deserved it will be. Ipswich just aren't right at all this year, I really don't know what's happend to Doyley and Emil but they've both gone backwards. It was the reserves who got Ipswich to the top of the table and now they've lost one of them and JJ may not find his early season form again for the rest of 2025 when he does return.
