Grudziadz was a cracking track a couple of years back, Now it's awful. Shame Lodz aren't in the top league as that's a brilliant track. -
IPSWICH -6.0 @ 19/20 & The Hcap Tie. Don't see how Leicester can put up over 41 Points tonight, Ipswich have a number of riders that go very well around Leicester and Dan Thompson should fill his boots at reserve on a track that he knows very well.
-
What are the chances of Lewis Kerr being a temporary or even a permanent replacement?

King's Lynn vs Leicester 14/04/25 Premiership R1
TTT replied to IainB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Win for KL but at what cost? Leszno are fighting to get back to the top flight of Polish Speedway and they'll be furious tonight to a point where they could flex their muscles. -
Really not sure about tonight, BELLE VUE -12.0 jumps out but I'm hesitant to back it, NSS is a close to a Polish track you'll get in the UK and I can see FRANCIS GUSTS loving it to a point where he could fill his boots. I've seen a lot of teams rest HL's in Heat 15's this year as well which makes the BV Rider Points bets tricky in regards to BRADY KURTZ and DAN BEWLEY. I'm going to take a punt on JAIMON LIDSEY OVER 9 and I'll just hope my logic is right and he'll get 5 rides. I'm also going to back RYAN DOUGLAS OVER 8 because from what I can remember, KYLE HOWARTH isn't particularly any good around the AFA.

King's Lynn vs Leicester 14/04/25 Premiership R1

Sounds silly but King's Lynn's season is on the line in this meeting, Lose this and it's curtains already, Got to be realistic and say King's Lynn aren't going to beat Ipswich in the KOC so it's all about finishing 4th for them and they're already 0-3 with 0 Points in the Premiership. Leicester are the team that King's Lynn have to hunt down to finish 4th so they cant afford to lose at Home to them under any circumstances because Leicester would have a 4 Point lead and 2 Meetings in hand over King's Lynn. I was expecting Leicester to drop off with Drew Kemp being given a third chance @ No.6 but he's been really impressive this season by getting a minimum of paid 9 in every meeting for the Lions so far. Leicester are the side showing better form but Harris may just drag King's Lynn over the line in a last Heat decider (46-44 either way) -

Belle Vue are a non-factor this year, Play-Off cannon fodder. Wouldn't beat Sheffield over two legs let alone Ipswich. -

Przyjemski is the difference maker when it comes to the title race between Lublin, Wroclaw and Torun imo. -
That's why I highlighted about Ben potentially having bigger priorities. If it was related to the Sheffield crash in 2024 then he'd be poor everywhere.
-
Craig Cook leaving was a blessing, Drew Kemp looks like an improved rider so far this year and he's doing a really good job @ No.6.
-
I don't get the whole added pressure of being a No.1 argument tbh. Even if you don't beat any of the oppositions Heat Leaders you should still be riding to your GSA. Heat 01: Beat both No.2's = 2 Points Heat 06: Beat your own team partner and the oppositions No.6 = 2 Points Heat 10: Beat your own team partner and the oppositions No.4 = 2 Points Heat 13: Beat your own team partner = 1 Point

Ipswich v Oxford Thursday 10th April

Ipswich as a collective group, Not just Doyle and Emil are making GP/Ekstraliga riders look bang average around Foxhall. Kurtz, Lidsey, Bewley, Tungate and Janowski have put up a combined 22 Points from 24 Rides around Foxhall so far this season. -
Doesn't matter though, If you get tailed off early doors then it's season over.
-
I don't know what's happend to Ben Cook, Is his heart elsewhere now that he's made it in Poland and Sweden? The drop off is staggering for a rider who's got better and better year on year. Buster certainly needs to start making some calls otherwise the season will be over in a blink of an eye. I'd look at replacing Jan Kvech because he's not worth anywhere near his average away from the AFA. I'd Keep Nicolai Klindt as I think he'll improve once the Championship season starts as he'll get a lot of confidence from that and he'll be on the bike more regularly.
-
On paper I thought they'd be a decent side but it's turned sour really quickly with various underperformers on a consistent basis. Ben Cook has been a disaster signing which is a big surprise considering he's a rider that's improved year on year. Jan Kvech has gone backwards which is another surprise as you'd think he'd improve after getting a good look at all of the top flight British tracks. Captain Nicolai Klindt isn't riding to his average at all.
-
Good meeting that, I've never seen so much passing around Sheffield in a Televised/Streamed meeting. King's Lynn just aren't clicking, Every night they seem to have a couple of riders who have a stinker. Ben Cook looked distraught in the pits.
-
Buster always seems to find someone from Europe to come over. Kvech, Tarasenko and Laguta are just a few recent examples.
-
Lions roar. Aces have got top end firepower but I doubt that'll be enough unless Zischke finally gets his campaign up and running tonight.
-
King's Lynn have to show some fight tonight even if they lose, A repeat of Monday's battering and it really will be time for a couple of team changes already as it would be another heavy defeat against a team with a powerful spearhead which would tell you everything that you need to know in the long run in regards to King's Lynn.

One injury can change everything and as we know in Speedway you need a lot of luck to stay injury free throughout the season. What people are saying (Myself included) is that Ipswich will win the title if injuries don't strike because it's clearly the best team on paper, Jason Crump basically said this on the Premiership Press Day as well. Torun withdrawing Emil Sayfutdinov's starting permission in the UK is another bullet that Ipswich have to dodge on route to success. If they avoid both of those scenario's then they'll win the league for sure imo, But if they don't avoid both of them then it's all to play for as it brings Ipswich, Belle Vue and Sheffield closer together in a more even playing field. -
Ipswich will more than likely feature heavily in Televised meetings from August onwards. All 4 Play-Off Meetings and probably 2 regular season meetings as well imo.
-
Agree, Think most fans were puzzled at the time as well. Antti Vuolas situation is similar to Keynan Rew's when he first came to the UK, Ipswich had to be patient and wait a year to get any return on the investment. Antti Vuolas will get better with more experience, Just a case of whether Birmingham are willing to be patient and if they're not then like you've just said, They shouldn't have signed him in the first place.
-
Vuolas is a rider with potential but he's at the wrong club at the wrong time imo. Birmingham fans are sick of losing at Home and patience is thin, The fans need experienced riders who are ready to do a job now just to get a few wins at Perry Barr. Riders who've got potential to become a good rider in the future are a good fit for top end clubs because they've got the firepower to still win meetings on a regular basis. Tate Zischke at Belle Vue being a prime example of that.
