  1. If a Wednesday Night Club like Oxford can give it a go, Then so can the other Wednesday Night Club Poole.
  2. If Oxford can put British Speedway First, Then so can others. If it doesn't work out after 1 Season then they can always drop back down. Scottish Derbies and Wednesday Race Night's are nothing more than excuses that are being weaponized because they simply don't even want to make an effort to try and save the Sport in this Country.
  3. Whatever happens.... Chris Louis has been severely let down by certain other British Speedway Owners and Promoters. Everything Chris Louis does when it comes to Ipswich is with 100% Effort, Passion, Pride and Love for the Sport in general. Unlike certain others, Chris doesn't make up excuses whilst putting obstacles in the way of everything.
  4. Good post Matt. Unfortunately they'll never put the Sport First as everything is done with a Me, Myself and I outlook.
  5. I'm just being honest because somebody's got to speak the truth. The PREM Promotes the Best British Youngsters on a regular basis with the Rising Star Scheme as well as Riders like Anders Rowe who get a Team Place in the 1-5. Only Two British Youngsters can be added to that list are Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen and as long as Two Tier Structure remains in tact then I'm sure that we'll see both of those Riders in a PREM Team in 2026. If every NDL Rider was good then CHAMP Clubs would be snapping them up Left, Right and Center.
  6. I think I've heard the same rumour, Been posted on X and on here. With CHAMP Clubs pushing ahead with 2026 Announcements / Plans indicates that it's just rumours. If they're not rumours then CHAMP Promoters are just setting themselves up for backlash by wasting their time whilst getting their Clubs Fans hopes up for no reason like Redcar for example who are set to announce a 1-7 built within a 40.00 Limit consisting of Wright, Mulford, Edwards, Jenkins, Allen, Pijper and Scott at the Chrimbo event. That's the 1-7 I've heard anyway.
  7. Could be anyone. Including the CHAMP Clubs who are making signing announcements because every deal would be null and void if the League Structure Collapses. The fact that they're announcing Riders suggests that progress has been made and the Team has been found otherwise they're just getting their fans hopes up for no reason by announcing Riders who more than likely won't even be riding for them.
  8. I never said all non UK Riders, I said PREM Riders who don't D/UP and they will be left with no choice but to leave if Race Nights are scattered from MON-SAT because SWE (TUE), DEN (WED) & POL (FRI-SUN) dictates that. Those are the Costs for the vast majority of fans and others can deny it all they like. Your Team is very unreasonable because it's 27.58 after 2.5% British Reductions R. Lawson 9.58 A. Rowe 7.38 T. Thomsen 4.81 W. Cairns 3.81 C. Rushen 2.00
  9. I'm interested to know why anyone would think that this is sustainable in a 14 Team League featuring 5 Man Teams that'll be propped up by 5.00 Pointers and NDL No Hopers who don't even get a look in when it comes to the CHAMPIONSHIP in it's current format. ****Prices will NOT drop during an Inflation Cost of Living Crisis**** Using CHAMPIONSHIP Club Poole as an example (2025 Prices) £20.00 a Ticket for one Adult £3.50 for Stadium Car Parking £3.50 for a Programme Fans will also want a Drink whether it's a Hot or Cold Drink which will whack on another couple quid. In Total with the extra costs outside of the Ticket Price, You're basically asking Fans to Pay around £30 on a regular basis.
  10. I see Redcar and Workington are making an announcement about an announcement on X in regards to signings. That alone is enough evidence to have full confidence in a Two Tier Structure despite any rumour doing the rounds.
  11. Just throwing a couple of Teams together as an example of what the standard will look like in 1 Big League. 5 Man Teams, Points Limit 25.00 Team A 1. R. Lawson 9.58 2. T. Zischke 5.76 3. J. Hook 5.57 4. NDL Rider 2.00 5. NDL Rider 2.00 = 24.91 Team B 1. C. Harris 8.90 2. M. Palm Toft 6.10 3. K. Thomson 5.93 4. NDL Rider 2.00 5. NDL Rider 2.00 = 24.93
  12. The only reasons as to why the CHAMPIONSHIP and CHAMP Clubs have been allowed to SUCCESSFULLY operate in the way that they do is because of the following. 1. Two Tier Structure.....2. Rider Sharing Scheme. Proof is in the pudding. Glasgow, Poole and Redcar's entire spearheads were full of PREM D/UP's. Time for CHAMP Promoters to wake up and smell the coffee because the state of play is very simple and it has severe consequences if nobody takes the plunge even if it's for 1 Year. Two Tier Structure Collapse = PREMIERSHIP and Rider Sharing Scheme Collapse PREMIERSHIP and Rider Sharing Scheme Collapse = CHAMPIONSHIP Collapse PREMIERSHIP and CHAMPIONSHIP Collapse = 1 Big League Featuring 5 Man Teams that are mostly propped up by 5.00 Pointers and an NDL Rider. 1 Big League Featurning 5 Man Teams that are mostly propped up by 5.00 Pointers and an NDL Rider = END GAME! Because barely anyone is paying £20 plus other expenses to watch that during a Cost of Living Crisis.
  13. Pretty much and barely anyone is going to turn up to watch it. The League won't even be to the same standard as the current CHAMPIONSHIP let alone PREMIERSHIP. As I've told Fans on here from Day 1, If the PREM Collapses then the CHAMP Collapses with it.
  14. That's the exact reason as to why the BSPL can't afford to let the Rider Sharing Scheme collapse. Therefore that alone has effectively made the decision for them in regards to a Two Tier Structure in 2026.
  15. The Rider Sharing Scheme is the key ingredient as to how British Speedway functions. The CHAMPIONSHIP is so heavily reliant on this scheme and we can use title challenging CHAMP Clubs like Glasgow, Poole and Redcar as prime examples where their entire 2025 spearheads consisted of PREM D/UP's. The real question Promoters have to ask themselves is......Can we afford to scrap the whole thing?
  16. I agree. Something has to give and a compromise has to be met between PREM & CHAMP Promoters.
  17. British Speedway is running into a brick wall which ever way it turns. It's just a case of how hard do the BSPL want to hit that wall? Every solution leads to a dead end due to Financial Costs, Rider Availbility and the 2027 Polish Rule.
  18. Going to sound hypocritical but British Speedway was in a much different state back then in all fairness.
  19. It will all depend on whether CHAMP Clubs are prepared to give up FRI & SAT Race Nights in favour of MON & THU Nights. That will allow for some flexibility on the Rider situation.
  20. It's not working I agree with you, But the alternative is a 1 Million % destined failure because mathematics state that it is. Despite a weaker standard in 1 Big League, Ticket Prices won't drop because Clubs Rent Bills won't drop, Rider Wages won't drop and other expenses won't drop because everything goes up in price when it comes to the World that we all live in today. Basically Clubs have got to convince Fans to pay £20 plus other expenses to watch almost 2 Dozen NDL Riders propping up One Big League that they currently have no interest in paying to watch. That's the problem.
  21. I apologise to anyone who finds this disrespectful. NDL attendances are abysmal and that's because the vast majority of Die Hard Fans that we've still got left couldn't care less about it. So how on earth are we suppose to get a New Generation of Fans on board when it comes to the same crop of NDL Riders that'll be propping up 1 Big League to cover mass departures of PREM Riders? Here's the math. 27 of the 49 PREM Riders who ended the 2025 Season in a declared 1-7 D/UP'd in the CHAMP = 55% of the League and those 27 Riders will no longer be shared between PREM & CHAMP Clubs. If One Big League was to happen and fixtures didn't take place on a MON & THU Night, Then we're going to need replacements for the other 22 Riders who finished the 2025 Season in a declared PREM 1-7 as none of them will be here. Add that Rider shortage up and also take into account the 2027 Polish Rule and you'll see that One Big League is a 1 Million % destined failure before it's even begun.
  22. Sweden (TUE), Denmark (WED) and Poland (FRI-SUN) dictates that the PREM has to run on MON & THU Nights. Not at all, I just can't see a call for Jack Smith and co, The One Big League is not even going to be anywhere near the current standard of the CHAMP unless everyone runs on a MON & THU Night. I've done the math, One Big League is impossible to work unless everyone runs on a MON & THU Night. Not enough Heat Leaders and that's a FACT whether you run 5 Man Teams or 7, I've literally posted the CHAMP Heat Leader List on here Twice and the Numbers simply don't add up. Two Tier Structure = Slow the death process down to 1 Club per year unless Osborne picks another off. One Big League = Speed the death process up due to a Lack of Riders, The Polish 2027 Rule causing further havoc and the threat of Riders going down the Rory Schlein path of Retirment due to a job outside of the Sport.
  23. I'm really not, My posts are just rubbing Fans up the wrong way. I'm just very Pro-PREM while other Fans are very much against it which is totally fine as they're entitled to an opinion as am I. Imo GP / Ekstraliga Riders competing in Britain on MON & THU Nights is the be all and end all when it comes to British Speedway. I really don't see a future for British Speedway if the PREM collapses because One Big Medicore League would be of such a weak standard where no GP / Ekstraliga Riders are on show that it will struggle to create a next generation of fans which the Sport in the UK badly needs. Whether the PREM collapses or not, I'll always fight it's corner through the good times and bad times.
  24. Would it be possible for Peterborough to run at King's Lynn in 2026? Extra time to get the Showground ready for 2027.
  25. This is a British Speedway equivalent of a Round Table on The Traitors. At this rate, Claudia Winkleman may as well host the AGM in January.
