He's riding for Tarnow in 2025, SpeedwayStar have made a mistake so expect Matej at Birmingham in 2025.

I wouldn't worry about the wooden spoon, No chance Leicester finish last. Just going by the PR's you can tell this 1-7 won't last long before Stewart makes a couple of changes because his thought process behind a couple of these signings makes no sense with the expectations he's got in mind for them. They're very unrealistic. Talking about Cookie putting 1.5 on his average is top of the tree.

Assuming the top 5 were locks then surely the first option would've been Antti Vuolas? Sedgmen/Kerr wouldn't fit and Zischke (BV) Only other options that would have fit within the limit are the follwing. Palm Toft (Injury Prone) Mountain (Would've been signed because he's not rumoured for any Prem side) Milik (Not committed) Kemp (Been down that road already)
-
Strength in depth 1-5 featuring 5 riders who know the Armadale circuit well? 1. Sedgmen 2. Vissing 3. Thomson 4. Heeps 5. Castagna 6. Coles 7. 2.00
-
Stewart's not afraid to make changes and if Becker struggles early on and drops his average then I can see Stewart stamping his authority quite quickly with a team change or two. I'm not writing Leicester off entirely but as it stands it's not a play-off side.

Lightcap would be on a 4.00 wouldn't he? Batchelor 8.46 Zischke 6.96 Vuolas 6.40 Bowes 5.00 Etheridge 4.98 Lightcap 4.00 Foord 3.90 = 39.70
-
1. Batchelor 2. Bowes 3. Vuolas 4. Etheridge 5. Zischke 6. Lightcap 7. Foord
-
Defo Cook imo because Sedgmen or Kerr wouldn't fit if it's Douglas & Masters.
-
Could Peter try and convince Huckenbeck to ride for the Spires? German Connection and Riss is likely to be at No.2 for the Spires.
-
Stewart in the PR is basically saying everything I've said on here in regards to Becker. It's the make or break signing for Leicester, Could work out like a treat but it could also backfire drastically. We know what Luke's capable of as he showed it for a short spell this year.
-
What average would Jeppesen be on? 5.00 or 7.50? 1. Musielak 2. Jeppesen 3. ??? 4. Rew 5. Zagar 6. Vuolas 7. Edwards (RS)
-
Antti should be the No.6 considering he's signed for Workington again. Wouldn't be riding in England unless he was doubling up imo as the earlier rumour was that he wasn't riding in Britain next year.
-
They really shouldn't have wasted time in chasing Bewley. Now the Spires may not have a No.1 at all and they may only have two real HL's.
-
100% agree, Getting a No.1 really is make or break for the Spires.
-
Don't get too ahead of yourself, You still need fans to turn up.
-
Fair play to the management, That's a top signing.
-
It's really not a bad team, It's a decent solid 1-7 imo. It's just other teams rumoured 1-7's are making Leicester's look average on paper but as we all know Speedway isn't ridden on paper.
-
Is this the team? 1. Musielak 2. Rew or Z. Cook 3. Thorssell 4. S. Worrall 5. Zagar 6. Sedgmen or Kerr 7. Edwards (RS)
-
I agree. They'll drop Mulford for Cairns as soon as he's available imo. Zischke may take a while to get going but when he does he'll be solid at reserve around the NSS imo, May struggle away from home though. The Ben Cook downgrade will be BV's biggest issue in 2025.

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

Sam Hagon could be an option considering he's riding for Stewart Dickson's Lions side in 2025. -
Same top 4 I've got and in that order as well (Based on Oxford getting a No.1) King's Lynn are being underestimated with this Ht 13 & 15 talk, At Home they've got a 1 & 5 more than capable of getting 4-2's and 5-1's because it's a team of track specialists who've got proven pedigre when it comes to winning big Heats against Elite riders around the AFA, Plus all it takes is for Kvech to fully adapt on the Away tracks and then King's Lynn have a No.1 with solid backup throughout the team. I think Sheffield are being way overrated based on a couple of riders, Flint has done nothing for years, Gilkes isn't anywhere near good enough to be a No.6 (His average dropped by 0.41 this season as a RS) and Rowe is unproven in the 1-5, He's only done two meetings in the 1-5 for KL and that was against a team who were going through the motions as they were already thinking about the play-off meetings after being handed 1st place by the higher ups which made those KL meetings pointless.
-
I don't think Leicester will make the play-off's as it stands tbh even though it's rumoured to be 6 returnees from this year. I just think Howarth for Lawson is too big of a drop off considering the Fricke/Lawson partnership was Leicester's one two punch that got a lot of 4-2's and 5-1's. I also think Sheffield are vulnerable, Fantastic top three but the tail end still has to take 12 combined rides per a meeting which levels itself out imo.
-
I didn't word my post well, I was trying to say it would've been 7.51 left for a final rider if Schlein was on his Wolves average of 5.89. Schlein would be on a 5.39 so he's well worth a punt at reserve considering you're getting 0.50 discount off his average before the get go.
-
It's a decent side but like you said when you compare it to other teams rumoured 1-7's then it doesn't look that good. Lawson scored 8 or more points (Excluding Bonus Points) in 9 out of 15 Home meetings for Leicester this season so Howarth has got big shoes to fill. Still no real solid backup for Fricke as well which is a worry, The Lions need the real Luke Becker to turn up next season.

Was a small rumour in regards to Oxford but I think that's all it was as it's all gone quiet on that front with everything pointing towards the one change after Stewart's comments in Leicester's Lawson PR.
