1. IPSWICH (Only injuries can stop them from a clean sweep of trophies in 2025) 2. BELLE VUE (Despite the downgrade from Ben Cook to Zach Cook they still look like the best of the rest on paper) 3. KING'S LYNN (Write them off at your peril but this 1-7 is rock solid and it's a play-off side for sure imo) 4. LEICESTER (Originally I didn't have Leicester down for a play-off spot but other teams have some serious question marks over them) 5. SHEFFIELD (The tail end is far too weak to do anything on the road, Winning Bonus Points will be a struggle imo) 6. BIRMINGHAM (Have put together a good side but it's a lot of riders returning to Britain and it could take a while for them to settle back in) 7. OXFORD (Gilkes rumoured to be the No.6 and if it happens then Oxford will be at least 2.00 under the limit even if they do get a No.1)
-
Agree, No wooden spoon for Brum next year.
-
Already looking better than Oxford's side.
-
Oxford are in a bit of trouble here. 13.40 left for 2 riders with Gilkes rumoured to be at No.6 would leave over 10.00 points for one rider. Any GP/Ekstraliga newcomer would be assessed as an 8.00 so that's at least 2 points under the limit (If they can get a No.1) assuming Gilkes does sign which I suspect he will otherwise he wouldn't have left Sheffield at the eleventh hour.
-
With Gilkes it was a risky side imo but at least Gilkes had the scope to get better whilst Hume has had numerous chances in the Premiership already.
-
Sheffield should never have kept all 3 HL's, Not going anywhere with those reserves.

1. 8.30 2. Grahn 5.00 3. Castagna 7.11 4. Palovaara 5.00 5. Sedgmen 7.92 6. Fredriksen 4.67 7. James 2.00 or 1. Sedgmen 7.92 2. Grahn 5.00 3. Thomson 6.53 4. Palovaara 5.00 5. Castagna 7.11 6. Fredriksen 4.67 7. 3.77 (Coles?)

1. Masters 2. Gilkes 3. Jenkins 4. ? 5. Riss 6. Killeen 7. Scott
-
Expect Riss to double up for Oxford after the Scott Nicholls news.
-
Yes but rumour is since then he's had an offer from work that's too good to turn down.
-
If Schlein is retiring and a Number 1 isn't available then I'd be aiming for this instead of going for Gilkes. I know S. Worrall gets a lot of negativity but he's been thrown in at the deep end when riding for certain clubs, He's a No.2/No.6 and this line-up would see him riding in that team position throughout the season. 1. Tungate 2. S. Worrall 3. Janowski 4. Wright 5. 7.71 left (7.50 Assessed Rider) 6. Riss 7. Killeen (RS)
-
I agree. Perhaps Peter wants Gilkes for a bit of continuity considering he's likely to replace Boughen in the Cheetahs side.
-
Rumour brewing that Schlein might be retiring which could fall in line with the Dan Gilkes situation. Rumour was Schlein to Oxford so maybe the management were informed just in time to make a late offer to Dan Gilkes which is why he wasn't announced at Sheffield?
-
Did Rachel Reeves come up with the ticket pricing structure at Sheffield for 2025?
-
Good work on the ticket pricing and offers. Take note Sheffield.
-
I honestly cant see it, Musielak and Rew yes but I expect others to drop. Like we saw with Janowski it can take a rider a long time to settle back in over here with our tracks being completely different. Nilsson hasn't rode over here for 6/7 Years, Thorssell for at least 5 years, Zagar's in his 40's now and has no improvement left in him.
-
Half of them aren't the same riders they use to be.
-
This would be way under the points limit so something's not right. How certain is a Riss return? 1. ? 2. Riss 3. Janowski 4. Wright 5. Tungate 6. Gilkes 7. Killeen (RS)
-
Wouldn't make any sense because Dan would still have meetings to put himself in the shop window for other clubs whilst making a few quid.
-
3 Something left. Vinnie Foord?
-
Speaks volumes that they don't really want Gilkes but might have to go with him unless somebody else becomes available. I wonder if they'll take a punt on Vinnie Foord?
-
Dan Gilkes not announced.
-
JT confirmed.
-
Not too shabby like you said but still wooden spoon contenders imo based on the 1-7 not featurning enough riders who have got improvement left in them.
-
You didn't get anything wrong, It's the SpeedwayStar who've made a natural mistake.
