  1. They can be wildcards for one Round only. Doesn't mean they have to be given permanent spots every year over riders who are more worthy.
  2. Of course it's woke, Picking riders based on Nationality rather than picking the best riders available. All about diveristy in having as many Nationalities compete as possible.
  3. Agree, Both teams look the best of the rest. It's Lublin's Juniors that are the difference though, It reminds me of Leszno's dominance a fair few years back when they had Kubera as a Junior.
  4. Ticking boxes rather than assembling a proper GP line-up.
  5. Here is where some excluded riders rank in the 2024 Ekstraliga averages whilst the woke selectors try and fog us all off with a best 15 riders in the World slogan in regards to the 2025 GP series. 1. Laguta 2. Madsen 5. Kolodziej 6. Sayfutdinov Zmarzlik's victories are now tainted and he's not a legit World Champion until he gets legit competition imo (Those who are just as statistically good as him in the Ekstraliga) It's like winning a Champions League that doesn't feature Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
  6. Wokeness strikes again. Another tainted victory for Zmarzlik next year.......Seriously Huckenbeck and Kvech lol, What have they done in this years GP series to justify those picks?
  7. According to Polish press no wildcards for Poles which rules out the Russian's. Doyle, Madsen and Michelsen are in according to the press article as well.
  8. Should be 4 from the following 5. Michelsen, Doyle, Emil, Laguta & Madsen
  9. Happy with the 4 Qualifiers, You normally get one surprise that ends up having a shocking GP series after qualifying but not this year. Hopefully the Wildcards go to the correct riders and then we'll have the best GP field in years.
  10. 6/1 on Brady and bet365 paid out Phew!
  11. What's the point in the podium race tonight? After 20 Hts. Kurtz 13 Pts Thomsen 12 Pts Kubera 11 Pts (3 Heat Wins) Fricke 11 Pts (2 Heat Wins)
  12. What a fitting way for EUROSPORT to end the season by focusing the camera on Mark Lemon during Heat 15 rather than the race itself.
  13. They were crap in both meetings against Ipswich as well. The Lions peaked just a little bit too soon.
  14. Brady will win the GP challenge tomorrow as well imo.
  15. Leicester were just outclassed imo, The wheels fell off the Lions in the meetings against KL prior to the play-offs.
  16. I think everyone can respect Tolley and his team for giving it a go but they really should call it a day. It'll be sad for Brum fans but you've got to be realistic by saying it's not financially possible to run Speedway at Brum with all of the obstacles in the way. 1. Having to run at Prem level is financial suicide for a club like Birmingham, They'll never have a winning team on track because they're in the KL bracket when it comes to team building where they're left with the riders that nobody else wanted, The Bates family and very well run clubs like BV and Ips will always snap up the big name HL's. 2. Once the average 1-7 starts it's inevitable losing streak it'll result in fans walking away, Even more will walk away in 2025 than ever before with funds being the tightest they've been in years due to Labour trying to push as many English people to the financial brink as possible, Especially the pensioners who as we all know by now make up much of British Speedway's fanbase these days, You just need to see an EUROSPORT meeting to see the average age of a crowd, Therefore nobody is going to be throwing around £20+ for a ticket and a couple of quid for parking plus extra's to watch a bang average side that'll get hammered. 3. Once the above happens, Brum would have to fold mid-season because they won't have to money to continue and it'll just lead to jobs being lost, fans being left disappointed after buying season tickets, Tolley and co being left even more out of pocket while other clubs will have points deducted after having results against Birmingham wiped off the board. All the above is VERY HIGH RISK with NO REWARD to a point where it doesn't make any sense to even risk it.
  17. I'm not backing anything because Tonight isn't as easy as it looks on paper imo, Trap bets all over the place imo with the GP challenge tomorrow as well as the Ekstraliga Final 2nd leg at the weekend that will see top riders opt out of Heat 15 if the Final is mathmatically over by then. POTENTIAL TRAP BETS KURTZ 0 vs. Douglas @ 8/11 (Douggie may get 5 rides to Brady's 4 due to the GP challenge) FRICKE Over 9 @ 3/4 (If he doesn't go in Ht 15 due to the GP challenge then you need 10 from 4 up against Kurtz x2, Bewley x2 whilst riding with Lawson 3 times who'll have one of the inside gates to start with in Heat 1) BEST VALUE BETS BLODORN Over 3 @ 8/11 (Would only need to finish ahead of one Leicester 1-5 rider if he beats both RS in Ht 7 whilst scoring a point against a Leicester reserve in Ht 11, Likely pick for Ht 15 if the Final is over by then as well due to Kurtz, Bewley & Lidsey having massive meetings at the weekend) DOUGLAS Over 8 @ 21/20 (Should easily beat the reserves all night which will give him 4 points to start with)
  18. GP challenge tomorrow so unless the Final is still in the balance then Fricke won't go in Heat 15 hence why he's being marked low by bet365. Could be easy money for punters but it could also be a trap bet.
  19. I'd imagine it will be a 40.00 limit if Brum don't come to tapes. Only clubs I could've seen pushing for a 39.00 limit was Birmingham and King's Lynn tbh. Therefore I'd say King & Brennan at 3 & 4 for Ipswich with Rew or Ellis departing the side.
