Personally I respect Phil's opinion but I can't see Rory riding over here after a year out.
To move his family to the other side of the world and call time on his career must have been a set in stone decision and not a half hearted one where he would backtrack after 12 Months.
Rory would be throwing away lots of money in the process and he'd have to get his entire family settled back in the UK again, With our country on it's knees at the moment with the cost of living and stuff it would be a big risk for Rory to move back to the UK, If he got injured then he's basically screwed.
I think he'll just do a few meetings in Aus just for old times sake.
I wouldn't be against him signing though as I think he's a good rider, team man and he can get around all types of tracks so he wouldn't have any issue scoring points.
I can believe that, All I've got pencilled in is this.
Think our best shots at a big hitting No.1 are Vaculik (Bjarne connections), Kenneth Bjerre (Club legend) or Anders Thomsen (Former Panther who doesn't ride in Sweden)
1.
2.
3. Michael Palm Toft
4. Benjamin Basso
5.
6. Hans Andersen
7.
I doubt we'll get Rasmus as he'll be doing Denmark, Poland & Sweden now so it might be one league too many for him.
I think we've got a chance at signing Anders Thomsen because he doesn't ride in Sweden.
Where are we going to get HL's from?
BV - Bewley, Kurtz & Zagar
Ipswich - Doyle, King & 1 other
King's Lynn - Iversen/Lawson, Klindt & Pickering
Leicester - Dudek/Fricke, Harris & 1 other
Sheffield - J. Holder, Musielak & Ellis
Wolves - Masters, Becker & 1 other
0% chance of Lindgren riding for King's Lynn.
He'd be the first name on CVS' & Adams team sheet if he wants to return to UK racing. Freddie's first choice would be Wolves too.
Doubt he'd want to return with his long covid issues.
