Douglas can fill the void at KL.
-
I've almost got the same team down if it's a 40.00 limit, Just Ellis for Rew because Adam is stronger around Foxhall and Rew is wanted by BV. Brennan and Ellis are good mates aren't they? So they could be a strong 3 & 4 partnership with King being moved to No.2 to partner Doyle who'll take the pressure off Danny by winning almost every race he competes in.
-
Have to put together realistic teams, It's British Speedway after all where Belle Vue, Ipswich and Sheffield snap up the best riders.
-
Not the best looking team but it's what I think will happen, Rob Lyon has said it's strength in depth. 1. Douglas (Where else does he go if he leaves LEI?, BV/IPS/OX/SHE can't fit him in, Brum won't run) 2. Kvech (Rumours of a 2 year deal when he signed) 3. Iversen (Always rides for a Buster owned club) 4. Klindt (Was even turning up to support his team mates after injury, He seems happy at KL) 5. B. Cook (Same situation as Douggie, B. Cook happy to ride for Buster clubs) 6. 4.71 / 5.71 (S. Worrall or Z. Cook fits if it's a 40.00 limit) 7. (RS)

Bailey has put all of his equipment up for sale and it would be madness to put Zischke in the 1-5 with no top league experience and with him returning from a big injury. 40.00 limit and the team picks itself. Kurtz, Bewley, Lidsey, Blodorn, Zischke & Mulford (RS) + Z. Cook/Rew/Ellis at No.4 (Ipswich will keep King imo)
-
Fricke 9.14, Lawson 6.91, Becker 6.57 & Masters 7.32 leaves 9.06/10.06 for a No.2 & No.6 depending on a 39.00 or 40.00 limit. If it's a 39.00 limit then Zach Cook 5.57 & Leon Flint 3.00 but it would leave you weak at reserve and you'd think the Lions management wouldn't want to go down that route again after it backfired with Kemp. Two from the following pool if it's a 40.00 limit -> Wiktor Lampart 4.93, Justin Sedgmen 4.79, Lewis Kerr 4.77, Craig Cook 4.55 & Connor Mountain 4.38. I agree, Becker was awful for most of the season, Well in with the management though isn't he? So could be a case of playing favourites.
-
JCB back on board for 2025. Judging by the awards night and what Dickson has said already, It's likely Fricke, Masters, Lawson and Becker will be the backbone of the team.
-
The crowd funder is currently at £755 with a target of raising £10,000.
-
I've got Oxford down for picking the Released Sheffield Heat Leader up, They'll need a No.1 on a hefty average where's Leicester will already have one (Fricke) to a point where they'd have to make drastic changes to fit a Holder brother in. Some fans will want drastic changes but I don't think Dickson will as he'll look at the 2024 season as a success with progress being made from 2023 despite missing out to BV.
-
I agree but I don't see where any new Heat Leader is going to come from tbh hence why I've been building my Lions teams with the backbone of the 2024 team returning. I would've put Lindgren in the frame considering he's always rode for a club in the Midlands but he's signed for a Swedish club in 2025 and I can't see him doing 3 league when his main focus is the GP's.
-
I only put together realistic teams with riders who I think will be available to a particular club rather than building the strongest 1-7 as possible featurning riders who are either unrealistic or riders who'll be riding elsewhere. For example I wouldn't put a rider like Robert Lambert in a 1-7 because we all know he's only interested when Poland finishes lol. From riders who rode in the UK this season I see Leicester's pool of riders to choose from as follows (Fricke, Masters, Douglas, Lawson, Becker, Kerr, Sedgmen, C. Cook and the tail end of Birmingham's 2024 side)
-
Doesn't fit unless BV want to chuck Zischke in the 1-5 using a 40.00 limit and that's too risky considering he's got no top league experience and he's returning from a big injury. Ben Cook doesn't fit within a 39.00 limit unless Belle Vue want to release a better rider (Lidsey) who's on a lower GSA. It will be a 40.00 limit imo and BV will have 5.75 for a No.4 who'll be one of Rew or Z. Cook imo.
-
I've still got Kyle in my Sheffield line-ups because they won't find anyone better around Owlerton on a 5.05 imo. One built to 39.00 the other using a 40.00 Limit. 39.00 Exactly (Same as you) C. Holder, Howarth, Pickering, Harris, Woffinden, Rowe & Edwards/Gilkes (RS) 39.40/39.06 (J. Holder, Howarth, Pickering, Harris, C.Holder/Woffinden, Rowe & Edwards/Gilkes (RS)
-
I've got the exact same team written down. If it's true about the Woffy talk in news then it'll surely be Jack at No.1 considering the talk is about Picko being the captain which would point to Howarth leaving.
-
They won't run imo, Think the crowd funding is just to help pay off debts. Birmingham won't be able to put a competitive team together now so it makes the decision an easy one. Lindgren has signed for a Swedish club so it's highly unlikely he does 3 leagues at his age. Brennan will surely take the offer and job securitiy at Ipswich.
-
Douglas or Becker is a good shout for King's Lynn because Leicester will have to drop one of them. BV, Ipswich, Oxford or Sheffield wouldn't be after either of them, Birmingham more than likely won't run. 1. B. Cook / 1. Douglas 2. Becker / 2. Kvech 3. Klindt / 3. Iversen 4. Kvech / 4. Klindt 5. Iversen / 5. B. Cook 6. 7. (RS) / 7 (RS) 5.44 / 6.44 left for a No.6 with Becker 4.71 / 5.71 left for a No.6 with Douglas
-
I only use realistic riders when building 1-7's and riders who I think will be available to a said club. If it's a 40.00 limit then this team = 39.99 after British reductions. 1. Fricke 2. Kerr 3. Douglas 4. Lawson 5. Masters 6. C. Cook 7. (RS)
-
Lindgren has signed for a Swedish club in 2025 so that's not good news for Brum either.
-
I don't see Bomber riding for King's Lynn in 2025. Oxford would certainly want him back and Sheffield will explore a deal if it's a 40 point limit considering how well he rides Owlerton. Two clubs with a lot of financial backing that would be prepared to offer more money.
-
I always base my teams on who I think will be available to them and who the managements will likely target instead of putting the best 1-7's together using unrealistic riders. I think the engine room at KL is a forgone conclusion and Ben Cook will certainly be in as well imo as he won't fit in anywhere else and he's happy to ride for Busters clubs, RS likely to be Jenkins imo. Lawson would be a perfect fit but Dickson has said he's staying unless circumstances have changed. I always use this as a starting block when building KL 1-7's for 2025. 1. B. Cook 2. Kvech 3. Iversen 4. Klindt 5. 6. 7. (RS)
-
Championship will look very different in 2025 if it's a 38.00 limit. HL's like Picko, B. Cook, Brennan will be leaving so options will be limited.
-
Fits just under the 38.00 limit after British reductions. 1. Harris 2. Hagon 3. Vissing 4. Bowes 5. Flint 6. Foord 7. Hodder
-
Danny, Danny King......Danny, Danny King. Obvious replacement for Basso if released by Ipswich.

Nobody does, Hence why he needs to calm himself and listen to the advice that other riders are giving him (Bomber) Riding a bike with no brakes like a bull in a china shop is only going to end one way if Vinnie continues in his current form. -

Nobody outside of the usual suspects care about rose tinted biased Poole takes. We all know the usual suspects like yourself would jump on here to defend a Poole rider even if they robbed a Granny in broad daylight.
