Look at some of the replies on Carl Johnson's season ticket post on the Panthers Supports Club page on facebook. Patience is beginning to run out now.
-
Very true.
-
My head tells me that the rumoured leaked team will turn out to be correct with Tungate, NKI, Holder & Andersen. However I've also got a gut feeling that just won't go away and that's a thought about the team being poor to a point where the club are tentative to announce the signings at a quicker pace.
-
Panthers press release yesterday promoting season tickets again, Carl Johnson promoting season tickets on facebook 10 minutes ago as well.
-
Same here. I've got my money ready for a season ticket but I'm waiting for the team to be announced first because I won't buy one if the team contains both Andersen & Worrall because we'll just be a punch bag for other clubs again.
-
They could find another HL though which is why I'm not ruling anything out at the moment. Ipswich have certainly got the funds to pull off another big move this winter considering they've tried getting Emil over.
-
The longer it drags on, The more likely it is that both Andersen & Worrall are in the 1-7 imo.
-
Michael Smith on a 9 would be better
-
Who is going to be announced next then? Any guesses? I'll go for Chris Holder.
-
Torun can then release Emil for breach of contract. Torun have Matej Zagar on a Warsaw contract so they won't need to scramble around to find a replacement.
-
Exactly what I read on the Polish site ages ago. Have to question why Louis has been chasing Emil when he's basically had a 0% chance from the get go. Like you said Emil isn't going to kick up a fuss just for a British pay packet when Poland pay mega money and they're the only reason why he's getting some track time in 2023.
-
Riders who have signed contract with Polish lower league sides are allowed to ride for 3 other teams now.
-
Go on Tungate lad
-
Think so.
-
Possible considering he's just been released (Not from prison, Not this time ) He's been released by his Swedish club Masarna because they're going broke.
-
Very true. Would suggest Emil to Panthers if he is allowed to ride in Britain because we're visiting Foxhall in the first league fixture of our 2023 campaign. Hhhhmmmm! Still don't think we'll see him over here though.
-
Tried to have a fight with Jack Holder. Jack was being an idiot as per usual and tried to fence Tungate during a race.
-
Tungate certainly seems fired up for 2023 already.
-
I think Carpman is Carl Johnson personally, Could easily be Michael Tomalin though. Carpman knows the exact dates of team announcements so Carpman is clearly involved at the club.
-
I don't think Hans will last that long anyway tbh and I'd expect him to be replaced very early in the season if he starts the season in poor form. Too many riders available in the Championship as mentioned a few posts back, Kye Thomson, Jonas Knudsen and Marcin Nowak are the standouts.
-
My guess. Emil deal fell through, Chris Louis offered Worrall more money at the eleventh hour out of desperation and Peterborough weren't willing to pay over the odds for him so we've settled for Hans instead.

This is how I would line-up away from home (1-5 only) ON A TECHNICAL TRACK 1. NKI 2. Tungate (Struggles around technical tracks, NKI can ride any track so he can cover Tungate to some degree) 3. Basso (Allow Basso to be partnered with an experienced rider away from Home to ease the pressure) 4. Andersen (Still very strong around the technical tracks so I'm confident he'd do a better job than Tungate around IPS, LEI & WOL) 5. C. Holder ON A BIG FAST TRACK 1. NKI 2. Basso (Ease the pressure on him away from Home when possible by allowing Ben to form a partnership with an experienced HL) 3. C. Holder 4. Andersen (C. Holder can carry Andersen on the big away tracks) 5. Tungate (Big track rider so he'll be alright @ No.5 around tracks like BV, KL & Sheffield)
-
With Hans I don't think it helped him riding for Plymouth last year because the place is very technical and that may have contributed to the significant drop off on the big tracks. Not as good as he once was obviously but he'll be at 6 after the first set of GSA's imo and if he can just bring out some of his old self then we should be challenging for honours, If he struggles at 6 after the first set of GSA's then we can make an early team change before the second set gets released.
-
I'd put Basso at 2 for that reason.
-
I wouldn't replace him tbh because he's improving all the time and the Showground will suit him down to the ground, I think he's going to be a good signing tbh. I would swap Andersen out though for Batchelor or Worrall (If one of them was available) as I think Hans is the only weak link in the side and he could struggle for a large part of the season.
