  1. Douglas, Allen, Toft, S. Lambert, Mountain & Kennedy TBA imo. (Drip feeding announcements)
  2. I suspect we will get a press release tomorrow morning after the AGM statement. Speedway Star Day as well.
  3. I don't want Hans in the side either. Just think it's a forgone conclusion that he's in if Ipswich don't sign him.
  4. Any takers? 1. Patryk Dudek 8.00 2. Hans Andersen 4.93 3. Chris Holder 7.16 4. Troy Batchelor 5.57 5. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59 6. Craig Cook 4.91 7. Zach Cook 4.00 42.16
  5. Us at Peterborough will have a big budget now apparently under a new owner so Dudek may get his wish. Risky splashing out silly money though considering he doesn't have any UK experience.
  6. If you include Bonus Points then Troy's 2022 averages actually read the following 7.20 Home Average and 6.33 Away Average Yet his GSA is 5.57 so you can see the obvious value in signing Troy up for 2023.
  7. I hope so. I really think Ipswich fans are being too harsh on him, I think Troy is one of the bargains of the season. He was never going to improve his starting GSA last year riding with Doyle in Heats 13 & 15 while having to face the oppositions No.1 three times a night most weeks. Got the award for most Bonus points didn't he? which shows he can still score well riding out of position.
  8. Here we go then. Cash to splash 1-7. 1. Nicki Pedersen 8.61 2. Hans Andersen 4.93 3. Chris Holder 7.16 4. 5.30 5. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59 6. Craig Cook 4.91 7. Zach Cook 4.00 or 1. Nicki Pedersen 8.61 2. Hans Andersen 4.93 3. Chris Holder 7.16 4. 6.80 5. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59 6. Craig Cook 4.91 7. Jordan Jenkins 2.50
  9. Przjemski has got GP star written all over him. Very impressive rider for his age. I rate him highly too.
  10. ZG have rectified the mistakes of last year and they've built a very good side that would easily stay up in the Ekstraliga imo. Lodz have built a very impressive team too and I think they're the only challengers to ZG next season. Bydgoszcz look weaker to me on paper next season. I'd prefer Miedzinski & Zagar over Bellego & Lyager any day of the week. Relegation fight will be interesting because you could make a case for a few teams to be the ones to go down.
  11. Makes no sense to drop down. No local derbies on bank Holidays, watered down product in the Championship that would see attendances take a hit. Basically no point in Tomlain buying the club just to throw away his own money and run at a big loss. Pretty sure we're in the Prem and the AGM statement is just being delayed so they can release it on SpeedwayStar day.
  12. No point in Tomlain buying the club to run at Championship level though as he would lose money. Nobody outside of the die hards would be splashing cash to watch watered down Championship product with journey men making up an engine room. No local derbies either.
  13. I don't think Belle Vue will get both Bewley & Zagar because it's financial suicide. Even Polish clubs aren't signing Zagar due to his asking price.
  14. Few things to iron out. 1. Who's going to make the Tea/Coffee. 2. Will the hot drinks be served with Custard Creams or Bourbons. 3. Triple check everything to stop Belle Vue from finding any loopholes again.
  15. We could end up with leftover riders if Buster or Michael didn't talk to riders in advance before finalising the sale of the club. Still got a bad gut feeling we'll end up with Rory Schlein at No.5.
  16. Can't just waltz back in and take the captains role from Sam though. Is Steve Worrall back with you next year?
  17. Depends on how much coffee they drink lol. Joking aside everything has been sorted and they just need to sign off on things according to Danny Ford so no reason why we shouldn't get a statement today or tomorrow.
  18. Off to KL apparently. Rumours of Nick Morris to Ipswich.
  19. Announcement should imminent I'd think considering the World Cup starts at the weekend. You'd want this story to get some exposure and not brushed aside for Football.
  20. Hopefully Michael Tomlain has some cash to splash. He's certainly enthusiastic about the sport and the club which is a good start to things.
  21. Agree. Personally I could see Noddy at Ipswich.
  22. Won't be Sheffield unless they're letting Ellis go imo so Chris Holder could be heading our way. You'd think Sheffield would go with J. Holder, Musielak, Ellis, Howarth & Kerr which only leaves 9.40 after deductions and Chris is 7.16 (Minimum top league average is rumoured to be 2.50)
  23. Never knew he signed a Swedish deal, Could be the end of our NKI hopes too if he's got a Swedish deal.
