  1. Couple of more stinkers and then he'll be gone Early/Mid May imo. Buster will only be able to dodge a couple of more bullets until Rob Lyon and Michael Tomalin start getting vocal because neither of them wanted Worrall to begin with. Purely here due to Buster throwing his weight around in a classic case of jobs for the boys so Worrall has to perform for Buster to save face in the long run. Not yet he won't but one more crash in Britain that rules him out of another meeting and then I think he'll start having some serious thoughts about continuing tbh. Been under the knife one too many times to a point where his body cant take any kind of hit/bump anymore which is perfectly understandable, Doesn't need the money either so his health will always be the driving force behind any decision that Nicki makes. Obviously he's determined to make it work at Peterborough otherwise he wouldn't have signed in the first place but if it comes to a point where his body eventually tells him no then he won't fight on imo.
  2. Evens for the night and I'll happily take that as riders will still be a bit rusty. Emil is one to back in every meeting this season and I'll happily keep Lidsey onside around the NSS as he'll be underrated on several occasions imo.
  3. Sheffield already proving they're head and shoulders above everyone this season. Just a rock solid 1-7 throughout to a point where it's hard to see them losing meetings.
  4. Won his last programmed ride and then didn't bother to compete in the Ht to decide who'd finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.
  5. Not yet but I wouldn't be shocked if Nicki was to have second thoughts at some point during the season if he continues to crash out of meetings.
  6. I'm not being bitter mate. I genuinely think the Witches 2 point lead going into Ht 15 wasn't anything to shout about. Ipswich had a 4 point lead after Ht 1 and Hts 2 to 14 was 40-38 in Peterborough's favour without a No.1, but credit to Ipswich because they can only beat what's in front of them
  7. I still think he is, I just think he had a bad night at the office. With Worrall it's in the know that he's only at Peterborough because of Buster so I'm just saying that Buster has to take full responsibility for any bad performance Richie puts in this season considering he's the one who threw his weight around to get Worrall in. Worrall's never going to set the world alight and tonight's score from him is only 1-2 points off what he'll do on a good night, Solid but not spectacular is the term I've used to describe Richie all winter.
  8. Only thing that's laughable is your profile picture Gav. Wind the clock back 24 hours and you'll see that Nicki P was beating the last two world champions (Artem Laguta & Bartosz Zmarzlik) around Bydgoszcz.
  9. Ipswich only being 2 up going into Ht 14 when we've ran 13 Heats of Speedway without having any rider at No.1 is hardly anything to shout about. Wouldn't have even been ahead by 2 if it wasn't for a couple of mistakes made by Panthers riders. Panthers are a good side as proven by the way they battled tonight but the huge concern is how injury prone the top two are, One crash and they're done for the night. It's costs us league points tonight and I'm certain it's going to cost us even more points throughout the season as I can see the same situation unfolding on several occasions unfortunately.
  10. 100% and any Ipswich fan who says otherwise is just straight up lying to themselves if they think Nicki P gets a combined score of 3+1 from Hts 10, 13 & 15. As for Worrall, Buster has to take the entire blame considering Richie wouldn't have been in the side if Tomalin owned the club.
  11. Losing Nicki P has decided the meeting unfortunately, we would've nicked it tonight if he was fit enough to continue. Only worry for me is Richie Worrall because he's looked really poor tonight.
  12. Basso will end the season at No.1. No doubt in my mind at all.
  13. Buster taking a massive L on night one with his team selections (Nicki P & Worrall) This doesn't happen with Tomalin's picks (Holder & Tungate)
  14. Ipswich are going to nick this unless NKI can win Ht 13.
  15. First of several occasions this season I think. One knock and they're done for the night considering their age and the amount of injuries they've had.
  16. Nicki being ruled out might hand the highly overrated Witches side a win tonight. This is going to be a huge problem for us all season with an injury prone top two.
  17. Basso putting Doyle to the sword on night 1 of our 2023 campaign. Picking up right where he left off in 2022.
  18. Good racing after Ht 1. Basso was brilliant in Ht 3 to pass King.
  19. Heart in mouth time here already. We cannot afford to keep producing poorly prepared tracks especially when our top two are injury prone.
  20. First bets of the season. BELLE VUE v SHEFFIELD Dan Bewley Over 11 @ 4/6 (Exactly what @Heathcote said) Jaimon Lidsey Over 7 @ 29/20 (I think he's being underrated a bit around his home track so I'm happy to take a chance considering the price) PETERBOROUGH v IPSWICH Emil Sayfutdinov Over 10 @ 5/6 (Emil has done a few warm up meetings and he's hit the ground running, Shoe in for Heat 15 imo) Keynan Rew +1 v Hans Andersen @ 11/8 (This is the value bet of the night imo, Hans hasn't done any warm up meetings so he could be a bit rusty, Hans could easily find himself on 1 point from his first two rides imo, Riding in Heat 1 with Nicki Pedersen v Jason Doyle and Erik Riss followed by a programmed ride in Heat 6 that also features Nicki Pedersen and Emil Sayfutdinov)
  21. Helps a lot that Nicki P & Basso are competing in a meeting at Bydgoszcz today. Advantage back in Peterborough's favour if the Bydgoszcz meeting goes ahead.
  22. Ipswich to win this one for the same reason why I predicted Peterborough to win at Ipswich (Catching the opposition cold) the boot is now on the other foot. Nicki P, Andersen, Basso, B. Cook & Jenkins haven't had any warm up meetings to blow away the cobwebs while Emil, King, Riss & Hume have.
  23. New race suits look great, Holder is just jelly that he won't be allowed to race in one around the Showground next season. Here's to a great 2023.
  24. Craig Cook is an easy deal to do if Hans cant find another mechanic before Thursday.
