  1. I'll put the kettle on for ya. Tea two sugars sound good?
  2. One of these because they're the only sides that hold any logic. 1. Nicki P 2. Andersen 3. Basso 4. Tungate or R. Worrall 5. NKI 6. B. Cook 7. JJ Rob Lyon (Team Manager) or 1. NKI 2. R. Worrall 3. Basso 4. Tungate 5. C. Holder 6. B. Cook 7. JJ (Hans Andersen Team Manager)
  3. If Holder does get confirmed then I'll work on the basis of Hans Andersen being the team manager rather than a rider. It's just a really tough sell for me to believe the proposed 1-7 on this thread. Tomalin is a very successful businessman who's putting extra finances into the club so I don't believe that he would make a twit out of himself in public before he's even started his new job by heaping praise and talking about winning a league title with an uncompetitive team that's 2 something under the limit.
  4. I'm working on the basis that either NKI or Holder is out because the proposed 1-7 on here doesn't hold any logic and it doesn't tie in with Tomalin's comments all winter, Tomalin is still talking about challenging for the title now so I don't think he'd embarrass himself like that before he's even got his feet under the table in his new role if the team wasn't competitive. Out of the two I'm more confident on NKI being in for two reasons. 1. Due to the Buster factor (NKI has always been Busters go to guy) and (Buster and Chris have previous issues to iron out) 2. Flappy said Chris Holder signed ages ago with three other locks for 2023, Those other three have all been announced but Chris hasn't (Is that just a coincidence)
  5. If we're going 2.3 under the limit to begin with then it means that nobody from Europe is willing to ride for us. (We're not imo) Nobody offers Hans a job on a 4.93 when they've got over 7.00 points left until they've explored all avenues. (Just an example) Personally I don't even think we've got 7 something left over though, I think the rumoured 1-7 is wrong because it holds no logic (Opinion) Only 1-7 that holds any logic involving Hans Andersen is this because it only leaves us 0.39 or 0.85 short of the 39.00 points limit Nicki P Andersen Basso Tungate / Worrall NKI B. Cook JJ
  6. With a bit of luck Batchelor might be available. If not we could grab a Championship rider who's already set up in Britain like Craig Cook, Ben Barker, Kye Thomson or Jonas Knudsen if no EU rider is available.
  7. What I would do with Hans if he's the rider and not the manager. I'd put him on a 5 meeting trial run and if he doesn't do well then he'd have to be dropped from the side. In the first 5 meetings we have 3 Home fixtures and 2 away trips, The two away trips are at Ipswich and Leicester (Technical places that he should go well at)
  8. We've got no excuse not to sign Nicki P then tbh. Nicki P Andersen Basso R. Worrall / Tungate NKI B. Cook Jenkins
  9. Michael Tomalin is also putting extra capital into the club to get the riders on the best equipment possible to challenge for the title (His words) If you follow Michael on Twitter you'll clearly see that he's a successful business man who can walk the walk so to speak therefore he's not one of these who's all talk and no show.
  10. Then it brings us full circle back to Tungate (Still think he's in)
  11. When you've got over 7.00 points left you simply don't ring up Hans on a 4.93 and offer him the job unless you've been turned down by 20 odd riders. Plenty of EU riders on 6 somethings or low 7's and everyone has a price in this world, By the law of averages one of them would agree to ride imo.
  12. It cant be the team, Tomalin wouldn't sign Andersen and then rave about a way under the limit team before a wheel has been turned imo, He wouldn't make a fool out of himself because he's a smart and successful businessman. Is this Tungate situation a he said, she said situation because no reason has been given for the deal potentially being off The last I heard was that The club and Tungate have been ringing around trying to find a spanner for him over the last couple of months and he'd be on a good money contract (More than he's worth) also left the like on the fixture list post. This is the only team that holds any logic and if I'm wrong then so be it. NKI Holder Basso Tungate Worrall B. Cook Jenkins Andersen (Team Manager)
  13. Not worth the money though, He's a one track pony in Britain tbh, Matej doesn't like our track either. Away from the NSS you'd get the same points return out of Richie Worrall most weeks.
  14. I'm not ruling Andersen out of the team managers job for two reasons. 1. Tomalin talking about a title challenge again in the press release again on Friday so why would he do that if the team was going to be 2. something under the limit knowing full well we'd get bashed up every week? 2. Buster, Carl, Dale etc. all got a mention from Tomalin in the statement the other day but Rob Lyon didn't, Is that just a coincidence? The only 1-7 involving Hans Andersen that makes sense is this one. (0.85 left) 1. Nicki P 8.61 2. Andersen 4.93 3. Basso 6.81 4. Worrall 6.15 5. NKI 7.59 6. B. Cook 4.06 7. Jenkins (RS)
  15. Also in his final years so it's a case of getting every last penny out of the sport while he still can.
  16. Nicki Pedersen is a strong possibility now that Holder has left imo. Opinion -> Chris Holder was never going to ride in the same team as Nicki P just like he was never going to ride for Buster again.
  17. Is the Tungate deal off due to financial demands from the rider? You can understand the reasoning behind the Holder deal being off because that's been obvious since Day 1
  18. Richie Worrall really isn't a bad signing when you consider 25% of our league fixtures are to Ipswich, Leicester and Wolves. Considering British weather rarely pays ball Richie will also be effective on a slick track when you take his gating ability into consideration.
  19. Me neither, I'm down for Hans to become team manager or assistant team manager under Rob Lyon, Just don't want him as a rider tbh. Kenny Bjerre is my first choice as well because he knows the track, Nicki Pedersen is my second choice and I would buy a season ticket just to watch him tbh.
  20. It's a very long shot like 20/1 but does anyone think Hans Andersen could be the team manager rather than a rider? I thought it was interesting that Rob Lyon didn't get a mention in yesterday's press release when everyone else on the management side of things did.
  21. That's a no brainer then. Pedersen NKI Basso Worrall Andersen Cook Jenkins
  22. The question is how much money is Tomalin putting in? Because Buster won't go down the expensive root considering he's already tried to exit the sport this winter. If we've got the money then Dudek is the obvious root for 6k a meeting, Pay Rasmus his 20k set up fee then he might do a U-Turn, Kenneth Bjerre can do 4 leagues now so maybe it's worth tempting him with a big money offer.
  23. I've got no idea how Andersen has managed to get a gig at Peterborough again, I wish a spokesperson for the club would put out a press release explaining their logic behind the decision because I don't get it?
