Won't be Sheffield unless they're letting Ellis go imo so Chris Holder could be heading our way. You'd think Sheffield would go with J. Holder, Musielak, Ellis, Howarth & Kerr which only leaves 9.40 after deductions and Chris is 7.16 (Minimum top league average is rumoured to be 2.50)
-
Never knew he signed a Swedish deal, Could be the end of our NKI hopes too if he's got a Swedish deal.
-
Would anyone else be happy with this side? 1. Nicki Pedersen 8.61 2. Hans Andersen 4.93 3. Charles Wright 6.25 4. Krzysztof Buczkowski 6.02 5. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59 6. Craig Cook 4.91 7. Zach Cook 4.00 42.31

Would think he'll be Leicester bound if he's not at Wolves.
-
KK is 6.86. KL will struggle if it's him because Klindt would have to ride at No.1. I think you'll get Niels and I'll be jealous lol but if you don't then this will be your team and it's really rough imo. 1. Nicolai Klindt 7.39 2. Josh Pickering 6.14 (Pictured with Brady and Josh himself spoke like he's already agreed a deal to stay in a few weeks ago) 3. Michael Palm Toft 6.86 (Us at Peterborough have ITK's that say he's KL bound unfortunately) 4. Thomas Jorgensen 6.35 5. Krzysztof Kasprzak 6.86 6. Frederik Jakobsen 5.04 7. 3.86

I guess this is the team then if it's true about last years Rising Stars receiving a 25% reduction in GSA's 1. Sam Masters 2. Steve Worrall 3. Nick Morris 4. Ryan Douglas 5. Luke Becker 6. Scott Nicholls 7. Leon Flint

Would you be happy with this? 1. Jason Doyle 10.32 2. Troy Batchelor 5.57 3. Danny King 6.40 4. Erik Riss 6.00 5. Krzysztof Kasprzak 6.86 6. Ben Barker 4.30 7. Danyon Hume 2.98 42.43

KK would be the Polish version of Tungate around Foxhall lol. Hume would have a higher home average than KK around Ipswich.
-
KK would be on a 6.86 average so I think it's almost certain that he's signed for Peterborough imo. BV can't fit him in whichever HL trio they go with, Same goes for Sheffield. Hates Monmore and Foxhall so you can rule them out too. Leicester wouldn't be able to fit him in either if the rumours are true about their team (Fricke, Harris, Lawson, R. Worrall, Mountain & D. Thompson. Us vs. Lynn and we already know that KL have had MPT off us to join Pickering and more than likely Jorgensen in the engine room for them.
-
Would be a great signing KK. Hopefully he's joining us.

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
TTT replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If rumours are true then it's a top three of Fricke, Harris & Lawson. Seems solid enough to me. Would you be happy with that spearhead? -
Just a rider who'll get you 10+ a meeting around Peterborough if he stays fit. I think we've got to build a team that's strong at Home because away wins are rare in this sport when the Home side is at full strength. Personally I would like Martin Vaculik as our No.1 but I don't think it's going to happen.
-
Charles Wright will be available imo and he'll be a good engine room rider for us. I don't think I'm too far out on this team. What do you think? 1. Niels Kristian Iversen 7.59 2. Troy Batchelor 5.57 3. Charles Wright 6.25 4. Krzysztof Buczkowski 6.02 5. Rory Schlein 6.96 6. Hans Andersen 4.93 7. Craig Cook 4.92 42.24
-
Phil The Ace and he knows his stuff to be fair.
-
He can't ride our place though. His scores as a visiting rider in the top tier around Peterborough don't make for good reading.
-
Iversen and Edwards/Thomas would fit
-
More of the same from Wolves imo Just the two changes at reserve imo
-
Schlein to Berwick rumours gathering pace as well now I don’t like where this is going tbh
-
Fill in the blanks. 1. 2. Josh Pickering 3. Michael Palm Toft 4. Thomas Jorgensen 5. Nicolai Klindt 6. Frederik Jakobsen 7.
-
Chris Harris has left Berwick and he did turn up at the end of season party so maybe something's in that if we're running at Championship level under new management.
-
Agree. I'd rather race at Championship level if we can't build a competitive Premiership team. You can easily build a successful Championship team with Harris, Andersen & MPT leading the team imo.
-
Good shout tbh.
-
Niels Kristian Iversen in for Chris Harris would be a very good good start because Niels is very reliable around our place who'll do the job required of a No.1. Krzysztof Buczkowski in for Ben Basso would be a like for like replacement. Both riders are big hitters around Peterborough but neither would offer much on the road. Best MPT replacement options? Ryan Douglas would be an ideal replacement for Tofty but it sounds like he wants to stay at Wolves. Danny King is another one who would be ideal but Chris Louis would never build a team that doesn't have Danny in it. Other MPT replacement options? Rohan Tungate would score heavy around Peterborough but he wouldn't offer much on the road at all. Charles Wright if Belle Vue release him or Nick Morris if Wolves release him.
-
Massive trouble tbh. I've always liked Rory as a rider and I do rate him around most tracks but Peterborough isn't one of them. He's never been any good around Peterborough. We have to replace our outgoing race winners with riders like Iversen, Bjerre, Buczkowski etc. who are all former Panthers who can consistently score big points at Home. Just for an example replacing MPT, Basso & Harris with Jorgensen, Schlein and Lawson isn't going to wash.
