  1. May as well get this in now as it'll save me from having to post it on Monday morning once the inevitable excuse happens. Artem Laguta has been ruled out of King's Lynn's trip to Wolverhampton due to overnight hay fever symptoms.
  2. Hopefully we can make a breakthrough in getting an extension at the Showground because Buster is now in a weak financial position to a point where Tomalin can strike a deal at a reasonable price.
  3. I understand what Mike is saying 100% and I do agree, We all know Buster is a d**k though so he was never going to hand all the power over to Tomalin on a silver platter. I'm just annoyed about potentially exiting the sport in this manner with no chance to rectify it, It's a very tough one to take.
  4. Tomalin hasn't paid the money then if we can't afford Tungate because our team is nowhere near close to being over budget, It's not even a team that's close to the points limit. I'd like to think this is all part of a bigger plan for Tomalin to get the club for nothing and then spend big in 2024 but we might not even be around then.
  5. I believe Alex 100% All is not well at KL, Putting two and two together in regards to Brady's tweets I think he quit KL due to the abuse he was getting, The having to defend myself line is very telling imo. Also sounds like KL management aren't working as a team with nobody else checking up on Picko when injured......Funny enough Peterborough's management aren't on the same page either. Coincidence?
  6. If fans aren't turning up for Laguta and Premiership Speedway then they're not going to turn up for Championship Speedway imo.
  7. If you had the choice of liquidation or a Tomalin owned rebranded club forming of KL & Peterborough then which option are you taking? Not a lot of people are willing to buy clubs over here hence why Bates and Buster own two each.
  8. This would work Joint team Tomalin owner Brady sponsor Lyon manager Dale and Johnson as co promoters.
  9. Interesting, Did he have a fallout with Brady or something? KL are the ones who gave Picko a job after Sheffield dumped him on a 7+ average.
  10. He's too unreliable now imo. For anyone to buy a club in this day and age you have to be 1000% committed, Have very deep pockets, Be able to take fan criticism whilst being prepared to work to the bone for nothing with the threat of financial losses looming 24/7.
  11. Think it's a good solution in order to save both clubs in all honesty. Buster wants out and I think he's going to stand firm this time especially considering how much money he's going to lose this season. Buster can't flog Peterborough to Tomalin because of the stadium issues, Brady who was the lined-up buyer at KL has bailed out already with no other rumoured buyers in the pipe line so why not explore the situation.
  12. Dan Thompson could take 7 rides and Ipswich would still win by 20 odd points.
  13. If Buster stands firm and walks away from the sport and an extension can't be agreed for the use of the Showground then how about this? Tomalin buys King's Lynn and then merges them with Peterborough to form one team next season, Call the side Norfolk (Insert nickname) with all meetings to be held at the AFA. Tomalin owner, Rob Lyon manager, Dale and Carl can work at the club as well as Alex Brady if he fancies returning. Saves two clubs potentially going under then.
  14. Now is the time for Tomalin to strike (If he wants to buy the club still) because he holds all the cards. You can basically push Buster into a corner now that he's going to be massively out of pocket by having to pay for the KL riders too. Tomalin can offer Buster a take it or leave it deal, Crank up the pressure to the maximum, Either accept my offer and cut your losses now or I'll walk away like Brady and your financial losses will become even greater. Even Buster wouldn't be stubborn enough to stick to his asking price considering the financial mess he's going to get himself into unless things change.
  15. I'm worried for Riss. Think he should sit the rest of the season out in case he has a blackout or something that could lead to a disaster.
  16. Hans getting owned by Jake Mulford pretty much sums up Andersen's last two years in a Panthers race suit.
  17. Bomber cost us all tonight when it comes to the Lawson bet. Got me double in so it's a profitable night anyway, Well done all.
  18. Heat 1 should've been awarded. Laguta was never making up the ground.
  19. BV - 16.0 & Leicester -4.0 (DOUBLE) I'll also cover the Hcap Ties. BV (Should easily run out winners by over 20 imo because the Panthers side isn't even close to the points limit) LEI (Safer play imo because you know Fricke & Sedgmen are bang in form, You also know that Lawson is a track specialist who piles in points around KL, Harris also goes well around KL, For KL you know Riss isn't 100%, You also know that TJ is very flaky so backing KL+4 is basically a gamble on Klindt to smoke in-form / track specialist Lions riders all evening) Lawson Over & Exactly 9 (Has put up massive numbers on both occasions around KL this season when guesting for Panthers and Tigers)
  20. If Howarth goes well then Sheffield will win as he'll put up a ridiculous number at reserve from 7 rides. Belleg0 missing is a blessing for the Tigers.
  21. Surprised Morris is at 5 tonight, I would've swapped Nicki and Lawson around considering Harris also goes well around KL. Leicester to win now that they've finally hit their stride and they're dark horses for the title imo.
  22. This is the equivalent of a Premier League Football team throwing away an FA Cup tie by putting out an understrength line-up. Belle Vue by however many they feel like winning by, If they take pity on us then we might be able to put up 30.
  23. I've never known Buster to put together a competitive team at KL in the top flight tbh.
