What's Tomalin's excuse for not signing Laguta when he had a clear run at him? Instead all we got was a lie stating that nobody was available when they clearly were available. After all we were promised a title challenging side on a budget that's on par with BV.

If Buster was paying for Laguta at KL then he would've been a Panther weeks ago so the statement makes complete sense tbh, 0% chance Laguta would've been at KL if Buster was covering the wage bill at both clubs because it's not how he operates, I've been wrong on a lot of things on this forum but this isn't one of them, A leopard never changes it spots as the saying goes so Buster wouldn't burn a whole in his pocket just to finish in 5th and 6th place respectively. Also Rob Lyon would've quit on the spot if Buster was paying for Laguta considering Rob has been very vocal about getting the No.1 situation resolved, No way would he stand for Buster signing a No.1 for KL to replace an out of form Klindt or KK when Panthers don't even have a No.1 to replace. Tomalin on the other hand has promised a lot of things and so far he's delivered none of it, All he's done is the following. Made promises / statements he can't back up varying from title challenging team, budget similar to BV etc. Had a fall out with Buster over Holder when he worked out a deal with him without consulting Buster first. Talked down to some fans when they started to question our losing streak after everything turned sour. Told a straight up lie about riders / No.1's not wanting to ride in the UK due to various reasons when he's had a clear run at both Matej Zagar and Artem Laguta Now we've got rumours about Tomalin not making payments. Track record here is alarming.

I agree, If only Buster would've clarified everything sooner then I wouldn't have pointed the finger at him so much. Problem is we don't get communication at Peterborough from the management unless it's from Tomalin on facebook, So it's an easy trap to get suckered into when he's telling us everything that we want to hear.

Clear as day that Buster isn't the problem now though and I was one of his biggest critics tbh. Tomalin put on facebook that a No.1 wasn't available due to Poland as well as not being interested in the UK.........That was a straight up lie. We could've had Laguta or at worst Zagar signed, sealed and delivered if he stuck to his promises, Basically this whole Nicki P situation could've been resolved weeks ago if Tomalin walked the walked instead of just talking the talk, Instead we plodded on with R/R and riders like Jakobsen guesting at No.1. Basically everything what Bald Bloke and numerous other KL fans have said for weeks in regards to Tomalin has been 100% factual.

Interesting, Explains why Laguta is heading to KL now, Knew Buster wouldn't be paying for him as well as covering the wage bill at Panthers because it goes against everything he stands for when running his business. Also tells me Laguta has been available for a while and that Tomalin just didn't want to put up the cash weeks ago for him but Alex Brady is prepared to spend big on the former World Champion. Fair play to Buster for communicating with the fans.

Before the ban on Russian's Tarasenko rode in the 1st league of Polish Speedway for Bydgoszcz and Krosno in his final two years before the ban he finished 5th in (2020) and then 3rd (2021) in the overall league averages before making the jump to Ekstraliga Speedway. In his three meetings for Grudziadz this season he's scored 6, 7+1 and 7+3 so he shouldn't have any problems over here when it comes to scoring points.

I remember when riders like Przedpelski, Piotr Pawlicki etc. were over here on assessed 7.00's but that was a few years back so who knows now. I thought it was 8.00's for GP riders, 7.00's for Ekstraliga riders not in the GP's and 5.00's for riders like Rew, Nowak etc. who ride in the lower tiers of Polish Speedway.

Whenever the threat of closure looms over a Speedway club......It normally results in the club closing, Very rarely does a club win the war and lives on to fight another day. I have my fingers crossed that everything will work out well though.

That's what I said yesterday, Gasser and Flappy know their stuff though so I'm taking their word for it regarding the 5.00 assessment. I'd rather have Tara on a 7.00 just so Ben Cook can get a bit more experience at reserve.

The 1-7's overall average is weaker but the riders in the 1-7 are stronger. Tungate is a No.1 around Peterborough really and he'd score more points around Peterborough than any guest we could get in who's name isn't Dan Bewley because Emil, Laguta, Holder etc. are never going to guest for us for various reasons. Tarasenko is a good rider, Watched quite a bit of him when he rode for Bydgoszcz and he was one of the leagues best performers, Peterborough circuit will suit him imo and he'll score more than Hans at almost every track as well. Worry for me is Ben Cook being asked to ride in the 1-5 with an out of form NKI if Tara is a 5.00, Could end up collapsing under the pressure like Ben Basso as we could be asking for too much too soon.

I have my fingers crossed but normally these situations don't end well.

Someone else has to be lined-up, Can't leave the team like that and god knows how Tomalin/CJ are going to talk themselves out of this one if we do go 3.5 under the limit considering we've been the team looking for a No.1.

Going to be sad to see Hans go out like this but it has to be done. NKI shouldn't last much longer if he doesn't pull his finger out.

Think it's more of a pipe dream than a rumour tbh. Can't imagine anyone being stupid enough to spend a fortune on purchasing new land and then building a new stadium when the sport is a ticking time bomb in this country.

Doubt they're all getting dud info tbf, Only reason why I've got a slight doubt is purely down to Buster's track record when it comes to running his clubs. He's never been one to throw big money around by signing up expensive riders who are based abroad, It's always been budget 1-7's made up of the leftovers mostly. I'll give Buster credit if he signs up Laguta, Tungate and Tarasenko all in one go for his clubs though as it proves he wants to turn things around at his clubs and that he's willing to spend the big money in order to do that.

Michael Tomalin and Carl Johnson better hire a PR manager and quick as they'll get bombarded with comments. How are they going to explain the Panthers turning down Matej Zagar due to financial reasons and then Artem Laguta gets announced at KL. Good luck lads lol.

Are we sure Tarasenko is at P'boro? Just seen flagrag's post on the KL thread about him and Laguta sharing a mechanic, If that's the case then they'll surely be at the same club because they wouldn't be able to share a mechanic if KL and P'boro were racing on the same night at different tracks. Our new proposed 1-7 doesn't make any sense either with it being almost 3.00pts under the limit.

Weaker imo. KK is riding like a No.1 around KL so Laguta isn't that much of an improvement on him around the AFA as stupid as that sounds, Maybe 1-2 points and that's it, Think KK has won over 66% of his heats around the AFA. Away from Home the backup for Laguta isn't their (If he does sign)

I still can't buy into the Artem to KL rumour tbh. It's just so out of character if Buster was to sign riders like Laguta, Tungate, Tarasenko all in one go as it'll cost him a fortune, Buster has always operated on a budget so I don't know why that would change out of the blue after all of these years. Our Panthers rumoured team has to be wrong because nobody is going to accept the 1-7 being almost 3.00 points under the limit if Tara is a 5.00, Don't think we'd be stupid enough to go with NKI at 1 either considering the season he's having. Would have to applaud Buster if the moves did get confirmed as it'll show commitment and desire to turn campaigns around, Putting up the big money and going against how he's operated for years can only be respected imo.
