Two from King, Rew and Ellis doesn't really matter imo. As long as Ipswich pounced on Brum's issues to snap up Tom Brennan then only injuries can stop Ipswich from a clean sweep of silverware next season. Wouldn't even need to know other teams 1-7 as Ipswich's side would be stronger than this years side that was dominating the league.
-
(Won't happen) but how many Brum fans would jump at the chance of having this 1-7? 1. Musielak 8.21 or Lindgren 8.13 2. Z. Cook 5.57 3. Douglas 7.30 4. Brennan 6.52 5. Masters 7.32 6. Lampart 4.93 7. Edwards (RS) 39.86 / 39.78

The NSS is my favourite track in the world but If I was a Young Speedway rider who wanted to ride in the UK in order to better myself by learning new skills on the tougher/rougher British tracks then I wouldn't bother signing for Belle Vue. I wouldn't be learning anything new from it because it's basically a Polish track based in the UK and I can ride those every weekend in the Ekstraliga leagues without having to spend money setting up in the UK. Tracks like Ipswich and Leicester is where I'd want to be if setting up in the UK as it offers something completely different to Poland.
-
Stewart normally always goes down that route so we shall see, The rumours though are giving Lions fans some hope of getting Fricke some rock solid support at No.5. I agree. Vaculik did ride over here at one stage as well, Got injured at Swindon if I remember quickly and then he never returned.
-
I've got no idea but if I was to throw out a name then I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Gorzow rider like Vaculik or Thomsen considering the mess the Polish club are currently in. I don't think Vaculik rides in Denmark or Sweden either.
-
I agree, Foxhall will help his development more than the NSS imo, Anyone can ride a big fast track.
-
Can only be a big hitter that's new to British racing or a returning rider to the UK after spending a few years out.
-
I don't know what some BV fans are talking about then in regards to BV's pursuit of Rew lol. If they cant better or at worst match Ipswich's offer then they've got no chance of signing him.
-
Would Ipswich get into a bidding war for Rew if BV flashed the ££££? Ipswich wouldn't lose out imo because they'd end up with Ellis who's statistically very strong around Foxhall anyway and he's a little bit better than Rew away from home. It's win win either way.
-
Worth noting that Rew did spend almost the entire season at reserve taking 6/7 rides regularly though.
-
Maybe Oxford other than that I don't see where Antti fits. I've got the tail end of teams down for this (No.2, 6 & 7 going by GSA's) BV - Blodorn, Zischke & Mulford BIR - Z. Cook, Lampart & Edwards IPS - Rew/Ellis, D. Thompson & Jenkins KL - Kvech, Harris & Boughen LEI - Howarth, Sedgmen/Kerr & Hagon OX - Riss, No.6 & Killeen SHE - Rowe, Gilkes & Flint
-
I've got the same 1-7 pencilled in.
-
This is why I'm cheering on Ipswich whilst the Panthers aren't on track. Ritchie's supporting our fight to reach our goal so it's only fair that we support Ipswich's fight to reach their goal (PREM Title)
-
The strongest 1-7 I could come up with using realistic riders only and turning a blind eye to the Douglas to Brum rumours would be this. 1. Fricke, 2. Howarth, 3. Masters, 4. Becker, 5. Douglas, 6. C. Cook & 7. Hagon (RS) = 39.93 If Leicester want a big hitter then they'll have to be sitting ducks at reserve because Hagon needs a strong No.6 to partner him at reserve considering how much he struggled as RS.
-
If injuries don't strike again then Ipswich stroll to the title. Basically a 1-7 that's stronger than this years 1-7 that was firing on all cylinders where's other teams will be weaker by having to release riders.
-
What I'm trying to say, If Oxford were going top heavy in 2025 then both reserves would've been Cheetahs riders for sure (Killeen + Boughen/Jenkins) in order to get some continuity going and one of Boughen/Jenkins would've opted out of the RS scheme if they had a guaranteed deal to be the No.6 for the Spires because the rider in question wouldn't be missing out on a team place by opting out of the RS scheme. That's why I don't believe Oxford are going top heavy.
-
I agree but I don't know where the big hitter comes from tbh.
-
Lawson is the perfect fit for the No.3 race jacket but he's off to KL if rumours are true. 1. Fricke 2. Howarth 3. 7.13 or 7.15 (Tarasenko?, Wozniak? or a 7.00 assessed rider from POLSKA) 4. Becker 5. Masters 6. Sedgmen or Kerr 7. Hagon (RS)
-
I've got the same two 1-7's down as well as B. Cook being your final KL rider.
-
A reason as to why nobody even wanted Joe as a RS let alone a No.6. Would've signed Boughen or Jenkins as the No.6 with one of them opting out of the RS scheme knowing that they'd have a Premiership place like the Edwards/Gilkes Sheffield scenario this season.
-
Oxford won't go with a 3.00 pointer at reserve imo, They would've signed Jenkins or Boughen up as the No.6 if they were going down that route. Surely got to be the 1-5??? 1. Musielak 2. Riss 3. Janowski 4. Wright 5. Tungate
-
Masters has to be at Leicester because the Sam to Oxford rumours makes no sense now. Tungate confirmed, Janowski basically confirmed himself and they're trying to sign Bewley at No.1 therefore Masters doesn't fit unless they go with a rider on a 3 something at reserve and they wouldn't do that because they would've signed Boughen or Jenkins as the No.6 if they were going down the top heavy route.
-
I've also got Musielak pencilled in for Oxford.
-
Surely Brummies if it's not Ipswich. Lions would be mad to sign Danny up when they need a big hitter to back Max up.
-
Fill in the blanks. 1. 2. Riss 3. Janowski 4. Wright 5. Tungate 6. 7. Killeen (RS)
