  1. Think Chris is the sensible one out of the two, Ipswich would've just offered Brennan a better deal and a better chance at winning silverware. Tolley is the same man who said he'd sign Zmarzlik because money's not a problem and then look at what happened a couple of weeks ago lol.
  2. Being a very well run club I'm pretty sure Sheffield wouldn't be naive enough to release riders without having 7 signed up. I wouldn't be talking about Howarth being a replacement for Jack, The whole team dynamic would have changed that saw Howarth would come back into the 1-7 with Rowe reverting to a reserve berth (No.6)
  3. Puts the Jack Holder rumour to bed nice and early. Wouldn't have officially announced Howarth's departure if they didn't have signed contracts from 7 riders. Howarth would have been in the side if one of the power three were leaving as they wouldn't be able to get anyone better around Owlerton on a GSA similar to Kyle's.
  4. King looks like a risky signing on paper but it's also a risk worth taking if Brennan has put pen to paper. King at No.2 with no pressure on him when partenered with Doyle or Emil 3 times a night would see him put good points on the board imo. Like Ellis said last season, Doyle and Emil made everyone's jobs easy.
  5. Chris Adams said Brum have lost out on a couple of riders they were talking to so I assume Brennan is one of them.
  6. Reading that PR I don't think many of us realised how bad Danny's hand was.
  7. Spot on, They wouldn't be able to afford two of them so the early signs aren't good for Brum.
  8. Agree, We need as many top names over here as possible.
  9. My thoughts were the same when reading the wording of the post on X from Sheffield.
  10. I've seen some of those replies on X as well.
  11. No brainer to bring Dan back with the -25% deduction. I suspect the whole team will be announced this week as they must have signed off on the points limit already? I highly doubt they'll be taking the planned trip to Spain this year with current events happening.
  12. Great to see Emil back. Loved Emil's words in the PR, He is determined to win the league with Ipswich and he's not going anywhere until he does it. Those aren't the words of a guy who's half asked and only in Britain to top up the bank account. 100% dedication from Emil.
  13. The more rumoured 1-7's I see, The more I rate KL's potential 1-7's. And you know that I don't like to give Buster any sort of credit lol.
  14. BV will make the play-offs for sure, Always will due to the NSS form. Zach for Ben is a big drop off imo, Zach's a good rider but Ben's home form was mustard (Had more 1st places then 2nd, 3rd and 4th's) Big shoes to fill.
  15. It's a solid side again imo, BV and Sheffield's rumoured 1-7's would be weaker than this years as well so Leicester should be in the mix again if they do get the 1-7 that we've put together recently on a couple of threads.
  16. I actually think it will be your side now after thinking about it. Just got a Stewart Dickson vibe to it, UK based 1-7 and just the one change from last years side so it ticks the continuity box as well. I know the Masters/Douglas rumours doing the rounds but I've got a hard time believing any rider would sign for Birmingham if they had multiple offers/intrest from other clubs. Birmingham can easily go under at any stage next season and they can easily fall behind in rider payments so I think they'll end up with 6 riders that nobody else wants tbh.
  17. Depends on who Oxford can get as a No.1, They'll get Musielak if they cant get a GP/Ekstraliga rider at No.1 imo. Unfortunately I fear the worst for Brum as I don't see anyone chosing them over another club if a rider in question has multiple offers on the table, Birmingham could go bust at any stage and they could fall behind in rider payments if things turn sour.
  18. I agree, I don't rate that 1-7 at all tbh, Great top two but it's an awfully long tail especially away from the NSS.
  19. You never know, Stewart might go against his usual thought process when building a 1-7 (UK based riders) I think I've got 5 right as I don't see Masters leaving, Stewart will certainly want him back considering Sam is his rider of the season, I don't think anyone would opt to sign for Birmingham over a club that's financially stable as it's a case of playing with fire to a point where Birmingham could run out of money at any stage during the season. No.6 should be Sedgmen or Kerr though, I keep throwing Kerr into the mix because he's clearly a rider that Stewart likes considering he's signed Lewis for Berwick and Leicester over the last 2 seasons whilst putting faith in Lewis to guest for the Lions this year in the crunch play-off meetings.
  20. Two from King, Rew and Ellis doesn't really matter imo. As long as Ipswich pounced on Brum's issues to snap up Tom Brennan then only injuries can stop Ipswich from a clean sweep of silverware next season. Wouldn't even need to know other teams 1-7 as Ipswich's side would be stronger than this years side that was dominating the league.
  21. (Won't happen) but how many Brum fans would jump at the chance of having this 1-7? 1. Musielak 8.21 or Lindgren 8.13 2. Z. Cook 5.57 3. Douglas 7.30 4. Brennan 6.52 5. Masters 7.32 6. Lampart 4.93 7. Edwards (RS) 39.86 / 39.78
  22. The NSS is my favourite track in the world but If I was a Young Speedway rider who wanted to ride in the UK in order to better myself by learning new skills on the tougher/rougher British tracks then I wouldn't bother signing for Belle Vue. I wouldn't be learning anything new from it because it's basically a Polish track based in the UK and I can ride those every weekend in the Ekstraliga leagues without having to spend money setting up in the UK. Tracks like Ipswich and Leicester is where I'd want to be if setting up in the UK as it offers something completely different to Poland.
  23. Stewart normally always goes down that route so we shall see, The rumours though are giving Lions fans some hope of getting Fricke some rock solid support at No.5. I agree. Vaculik did ride over here at one stage as well, Got injured at Swindon if I remember quickly and then he never returned.
