  1. I see Redcar and Workington are making an announcement about an announcement on X in regards to signings. That alone is enough evidence to have full confidence in a Two Tier Structure despite any rumour doing the rounds.
  2. Just throwing a couple of Teams together as an example of what the standard will look like in 1 Big League. 5 Man Teams, Points Limit 25.00 Team A 1. R. Lawson 9.58 2. T. Zischke 5.76 3. J. Hook 5.57 4. NDL Rider 2.00 5. NDL Rider 2.00 = 24.91 Team B 1. C. Harris 8.90 2. M. Palm Toft 6.10 3. K. Thomson 5.93 4. NDL Rider 2.00 5. NDL Rider 2.00 = 24.93
  3. The only reasons as to why the CHAMPIONSHIP and CHAMP Clubs have been allowed to SUCCESSFULLY operate in the way that they do is because of the following. 1. Two Tier Structure.....2. Rider Sharing Scheme. Proof is in the pudding. Glasgow, Poole and Redcar's entire spearheads were full of PREM D/UP's. Time for CHAMP Promoters to wake up and smell the coffee because the state of play is very simple and it has severe consequences if nobody takes the plunge even if it's for 1 Year. Two Tier Structure Collapse = PREMIERSHIP and Rider Sharing Scheme Collapse PREMIERSHIP and Rider Sharing Scheme Collapse = CHAMPIONSHIP Collapse PREMIERSHIP and CHAMPIONSHIP Collapse = 1 Big League Featuring 5 Man Teams that are mostly propped up by 5.00 Pointers and an NDL Rider. 1 Big League Featurning 5 Man Teams that are mostly propped up by 5.00 Pointers and an NDL Rider = END GAME! Because barely anyone is paying £20 plus other expenses to watch that during a Cost of Living Crisis.
  4. Pretty much and barely anyone is going to turn up to watch it. The League won't even be to the same standard as the current CHAMPIONSHIP let alone PREMIERSHIP. As I've told Fans on here from Day 1, If the PREM Collapses then the CHAMP Collapses with it.
  5. That's the exact reason as to why the BSPL can't afford to let the Rider Sharing Scheme collapse. Therefore that alone has effectively made the decision for them in regards to a Two Tier Structure in 2026.
  6. The Rider Sharing Scheme is the key ingredient as to how British Speedway functions. The CHAMPIONSHIP is so heavily reliant on this scheme and we can use title challenging CHAMP Clubs like Glasgow, Poole and Redcar as prime examples where their entire 2025 spearheads consisted of PREM D/UP's. The real question Promoters have to ask themselves is......Can we afford to scrap the whole thing?
  7. I agree. Something has to give and a compromise has to be met between PREM & CHAMP Promoters.
  8. British Speedway is running into a brick wall which ever way it turns. It's just a case of how hard do the BSPL want to hit that wall? Every solution leads to a dead end due to Financial Costs, Rider Availbility and the 2027 Polish Rule.
  9. Going to sound hypocritical but British Speedway was in a much different state back then in all fairness.
  10. It will all depend on whether CHAMP Clubs are prepared to give up FRI & SAT Race Nights in favour of MON & THU Nights. That will allow for some flexibility on the Rider situation.
  11. It's not working I agree with you, But the alternative is a 1 Million % destined failure because mathematics state that it is. Despite a weaker standard in 1 Big League, Ticket Prices won't drop because Clubs Rent Bills won't drop, Rider Wages won't drop and other expenses won't drop because everything goes up in price when it comes to the World that we all live in today. Basically Clubs have got to convince Fans to pay £20 plus other expenses to watch almost 2 Dozen NDL Riders propping up One Big League that they currently have no interest in paying to watch. That's the problem.
  12. I apologise to anyone who finds this disrespectful. NDL attendances are abysmal and that's because the vast majority of Die Hard Fans that we've still got left couldn't care less about it. So how on earth are we suppose to get a New Generation of Fans on board when it comes to the same crop of NDL Riders that'll be propping up 1 Big League to cover mass departures of PREM Riders? Here's the math. 27 of the 49 PREM Riders who ended the 2025 Season in a declared 1-7 D/UP'd in the CHAMP = 55% of the League and those 27 Riders will no longer be shared between PREM & CHAMP Clubs. If One Big League was to happen and fixtures didn't take place on a MON & THU Night, Then we're going to need replacements for the other 22 Riders who finished the 2025 Season in a declared PREM 1-7 as none of them will be here. Add that Rider shortage up and also take into account the 2027 Polish Rule and you'll see that One Big League is a 1 Million % destined failure before it's even begun.
  13. Sweden (TUE), Denmark (WED) and Poland (FRI-SUN) dictates that the PREM has to run on MON & THU Nights. Not at all, I just can't see a call for Jack Smith and co, The One Big League is not even going to be anywhere near the current standard of the CHAMP unless everyone runs on a MON & THU Night. I've done the math, One Big League is impossible to work unless everyone runs on a MON & THU Night. Not enough Heat Leaders and that's a FACT whether you run 5 Man Teams or 7, I've literally posted the CHAMP Heat Leader List on here Twice and the Numbers simply don't add up. Two Tier Structure = Slow the death process down to 1 Club per year unless Osborne picks another off. One Big League = Speed the death process up due to a Lack of Riders, The Polish 2027 Rule causing further havoc and the threat of Riders going down the Rory Schlein path of Retirment due to a job outside of the Sport.
  14. I'm really not, My posts are just rubbing Fans up the wrong way. I'm just very Pro-PREM while other Fans are very much against it which is totally fine as they're entitled to an opinion as am I. Imo GP / Ekstraliga Riders competing in Britain on MON & THU Nights is the be all and end all when it comes to British Speedway. I really don't see a future for British Speedway if the PREM collapses because One Big Medicore League would be of such a weak standard where no GP / Ekstraliga Riders are on show that it will struggle to create a next generation of fans which the Sport in the UK badly needs. Whether the PREM collapses or not, I'll always fight it's corner through the good times and bad times.
  15. Would it be possible for Peterborough to run at King's Lynn in 2026? Extra time to get the Showground ready for 2027.
  16. This is a British Speedway equivalent of a Round Table on The Traitors. At this rate, Claudia Winkleman may as well host the AGM in January.
  17. Say they go for another CHAMP Club instead of Poole while Osborne has them lined-up. That'll be the defintion of killing two birds with one stone. Having said that... My gut feeling as of this moment is that BSPL Chairman Rob Godfrey will end up taking one for the Sport but he'll keep Pickering to build his PREM team around.
  18. Don't take this the wrong way as I'm really not trying to offend you or any other Poole fan here. That's exactly why Poole should prop the PREM up considering they're the next target for The Grim Reaper Osborne. Wednesday Night's shouldn't hold much pull in a AGM discussion when Poole haven't really got a future to risk. Only real problem is finances but the PREM Clubs can come to a contractual agreement with Poole that states any financial losses will be covered in full to ensure that the Ford Family break even on the season.
  19. I guarantee Ipswich will still have Doyle with or without a TV deal in a PREM league. Everything is fine on the Sponsorship front, Without being bias towards Ipswich even JCB has already renewed with Leicester for 2026.
  20. Why doesn't Harry Redknapp invest some finances into Poole in order to get them running at PREM level?
  21. TNT Deal wasn't great tbh, It was more about getting the Sport on TV. Unfortunately TNT didn't really put any effort in but I'm not surprised considering they already got rid of it previously. In TNT's eyes they just got lumbered with British Speedway when the EUROSPORT takeover happened.
  22. Because everything will be null and void if a change in League Structure happend. So effictively they'll be wasting their time. Literally no point in a CHAMP Club even announcing another signing as it means nothing until a 6 Team PREM is 100% official.
  23. PREM needs changing, I 100% Agree. I'd start with a One Rider Over 8.00 Per Team to ensure that everyone has a big hitter. I'd then bring in another rule that states both Reserve positions have be filled by British Youngsters (No Older than 24) but a grading system will be in place to ensure that a particular Club or Clubs don't sign 2 Ringers like Leon Flint and Dan Thompson. I'd have a Tier 1 List for Riders like Flint & D. Thompson, Then I'd have a Tier 2 List for Riders like Freddy Hodder & Vinnie Foord.....Clubs can only sign 1 Rider from each list to ensure that everyone has a strong No.6. That'll lower the wage bill a bit and it'll invest more when it comes to British Youngsters.
  24. It doesn't matter though because mathematics state that Clubs will have to go without. Literally no way that we can get a level playing field in 1 Big League unless all CHAMP Teams are prepared to run on a MON & THU Night which eases the pressure on Heat Leader Rider Availability. Hence why this is all one big mess with no real positive outcome.
  25. It's one big mess with no real positive outcome to be honest Tim. It's basically a case of how many Clubs will get dealt a bad hand. Two Tier Structure limits the damage to 1 Club.
