A totally forgettable GP on a dire track...well, I thought Brandon had been bad lately, but that ! What's with Poland's poor track prep' in recent times ? GP's, U-21's, Polish Final, World Cup, many of the League meetings...! For this one, the handful of passing was all done on the straights due to bike set-up...or Gollob's usual Bydgoszcz tactics. Wouldn't it be funny if just one referee had the balls Anyway, it was dismal... Still, I had fun watching it from the Speedway Pub in Wrocław ...and a laugh with some Sheffield fans on the flights over and back

You almost 'struggled to score 3' but in fact only scored 2 [in-joke] And Joanne, to be fair you certainly did well...from memory, you were one of only 5 to actually get both riders in to the Final, surprisingly ! And you said you were taking a big risk, eh ?

sccoter keeps his place on the top step, thanks to over a million made on Scott Nicholls...very impressive Jacques virtually matched that and has become the main challenger in these closing stages...Both of these broke previous game records. Credits-wise, there's a long way to go and it could all go wrong for both yet, so don't give up chasers ! But these two look superb so far... Chris has done brilliantly to move back into the Top 3 after being there much earlier in the season, before suffering heavy losses in Copenhagen. A bad night for a couple of Panthers fans...mckenna lost 200,000... shalewhale 126,000 Hard luck mateys T.N.T. lost over 93,000 while Col and sonic both lost around 60,000 We're down to just three players now who've improved their total in every GP ! Overall, 2.4 million Credits gained in this round...but most of those went to the Top 2 ! More effort required from the rest of ya

I find it hilarious, after a few days away, to read some of the comedy posts on this thread Nicholls is seven years younger than Adams, a man who this year is closer to a world title than at any time in a long and brilliant League(s) career...and yet now this thread even gets a post that suggests Scott may as well retire 'cause he's never gonna do anything excellent... Over 80 points were scored from the inside two gates on Saturday night, yet people are having a dig at Scott for coming last in the Final, out of Gate 3, which provided 19 points all night sweet... I could go on, because it's even easier to rip these posts apart than it must be to post them in the first place...but I enjoy them all, so keep them coming

It doesn't matter which country you watch your speedway in, Lezaw...the sport is organized in a strange way ! Speedway is not unique in that way though...many sports are the same. In this case, I guess it is because of his performance in the SWC...and the PZM recognize that right now, Krzysztof is the best hope for Polish speedway.

Thanks for finding it Chris...indeed, my memory served me well, brilliant stuff from Loram, and like I said it was all after heavy, heavy rain ! I agree with you though, as a complete race, that first one hasn't been surpassed by any others posted after.

Neither of them really do it for me...riders picking bad lines on the bends Loram at Linkoping in '99 was a blinder, especially after the mid-meeting storm ! But I'd need to see it again, cause you know what memories are like (If the vid's been posted, I missed it) The Nilsen, Gollob race...great excitement trackside, even when very drunk ...but more about determination and strength to hang on than trickery or skill. Anyone who knows me, should know that I'm not patriotic...I don't support England in any sport, that's just how it is. And I'm trying to think of every big race I've seen, every Final, every title... And I can honestly say that this year's Cardiff Final was the best 4 lap ride of any rider I've ever seen. It wasn't about the race, the other 3 did nothing of note...but the kid who missed the gate and worked his butt off to brilliantly and cleverly take the win, brought tears to my eyes and an everlasting memory that outshines any other. So...not the best race of all time, but for me, the greatest ride !
