Usual thing at these times... People forget the actual injury. They remember seeing the crash (and what a crash it was !) and maybe finding out the injuries...but (clearly, as per the other thread) they often won't accept a rider competing at the World Championships then missing a league meeting or two. Well, in defence of all riders who ride when they've got injuries, particularly broken bones that have not repaired yet...you have to remember that one small crash might be all it takes to damage it beyond repair ! Just one little incident that a healthy body would brush off, can cause serious pain and problems. So in this case...I fully expect Scott to ride in the GP. And then I hope he doesn't ride again, at least for another week. Having said that, he may be silly and ride all meetings after Saturday

Nothing to do with the racing, Dave. You may well be right, I've not watched a whole WTC meeting to judge. I just don't get excited about international competitions. Not in any sport. You have to be patriotic to enjoy them...and I'm not that ! Plus...with the Finals being held where they are, it looks like another predictable outcome...which also puts me off.

No Mateusz, 1992 World Final...unbelievable weather, very hot then very wet and cold, then very hot again After a massive shower, caused by one small cloud...the track nearly a metre under water on the inside (!) and the Polish army boys came and got rid of it all, like magic Personally, not a fan of Wrocław city. Still had plenty of good times at the speedway though...including one very memorable incident with Nicki and Ronni Pedersen

The whole thing is protected to safeguard against someone messing up their copy. The 'rider list' page has rider's listed that don't need editing, so they are protected...but the new riders can be added, as those cells are not protected. So I don't really know what you're trying to do But, if for some bizarre reason you wanted to have some weird GP of your own with just you and a few mates names in there , then you'll have to save another new copy and put your names in from number 16 onwards and enter those instead of the real ones ! I like the scoring system, based on last night's GP alone ! My opinion may change over time...but I'll see. Crump is on half the points that Nicki's on, even though BOTH made the Final. But that's good, because Crump was only half as good as Nicki last night ! And I'm being generous to him !

I've got an issue regarding one player (who for now remains nameless ) who texted me their bets BEFORE the GP, but I did not receive the text (and still haven't)...although I WAS away in Denmark at the time, and text's DO go missing quite often. Hmm...I will be meeting with this mysterious player and checking proof of this text, and it's "sent" time, on Tuesday evening...so... Watch this space ! (p.s If bets are confirmed, this player will be leading the competition...just!) (p.p.s For the record, many bets have been placed via text in the past)

The layout is always the same, for each GP...but there's a new draw made for the rider's numbers. Therefore, there's no advantage to anyone, it's just a mixed bag. I hope this clears up any doubts you had...?

I'm guessing it's because you're writing 3,2,1 and 0 when the new points for the Final are 6,4,2 and 0
