Swc Final

The Danes are head and shoulders above every other speedway nation, but sadly that counts for very little at Leszno. Home advantage and the luck of the draw (because Blue has a ridiculous advantage in this series) means that Poland are favourites. I'd like Scott, Chris and Simon to have a good meeting (unlikely in the latter's case). I'd also like Walasek, Nicki P, Hans and Crump to do well...but the result itself means nothing to me...que sera, sera -

An enjoyable night in good company...some good racing, some great racing, some pap. Track was too slick really, but we seemed to have got away with it. But jeez, those meetings are too long even if the racing's decent ! Way too many heats... Anyway, well done to the entertaining riders of the night You know who you are ! Had a few laughs with the on-track and off-track incidents Good crowd, nice and noisy...great sweets, nice and juicy...good friends, nice and stupid. Unfortunately I then had my night ended by an articulated truck removing the left hand side of my van, fortunately no-one was sat there ! ...never mind, it didn't ruin the night -

Spoilsport....! We were going for a worldwide weather update then ? I suppose what we should have for this meeting is a weather report from somewhere in Sweden, Russia, America...as well as Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland It'll be a decent crowd, but I didn't fancy being first in the queue, no... Will this do....? -

Will I do paulr ? I've been about 300metres from the stadium entrance all day... It's been a scorcher of a day...then about 3 o'clock we had huge black clouds all over, then 4:20 the rain started... ...then 4:25 it stopped and it's bright again -
Yes my mate at Lynn was raving about Marc Owen from the other night, hopefully more of us will get to see him ride soon... Less seriously, shouldn't these two teams change their names ?

Can't you go on Tuesday ? If not then perhaps you should have chosen to pay on the day. By the way, if you have a ticket, does it not give a date on there ? -

Why's it so important ? It'll be Tuesday. If not Tuesday then Wednesday. If not Wednesday, then FIM rules dictate that the highest-ranked team will qualify to the Final and the next 2 to the play-off on Thursday. -

Motorsport is dangerous. At a rough guess I would say that 80% of the speedway tracks in the world are always less safe for everyone than Vojens was last night, so... If Health and Safety take over, which they probably will in the UK where it's ridiculous in work places already...then it's game over.

I'm not saying Stekkers is lying, but the person who told him there was 10,500 there certainly was Joker... Half it and you'll be much nearer -
Soren died in 1999, at home in Avesta, in Sweden. He had a tough time, losing his Dad and brother. Divorcing and getting done for drink-driving. And of course, he always liked to drink anyway. Let's hope he's found peace...

Adams was doing his best to convince himself, in every interview he gave (about 5 on Danish TV dunno about Sky) that Leszno is perfect for the Aussies...we shall see. He himself was poor at Vojens, which in itself will fire him up for better work in Poland. And I couldn't believe that after all the years he's ridden for that particular Polish club, he still can't pronounce the name right ! Terrible that is... Mind you, I am going through a bit of Polish pronunciation training with Silver Bee, so... It was the first time I'd watched a SWC meeting....never been keen on the idea. Still far from convinced obviously, after that shower o' rubbishe Coventry's track could well be just as slick unfortunately, again we shall see... -

£22 is a perfectly fair price (particularly as it's 25 heats, paulr) But that is indeed way overboard, should have been no more than £27...however I suspect it will still be full, so... -
