bears v glasgow 21/08/22
AndyPresley replied to Coraldon's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
For what is obviously a low budget production I actually think they do incredibly well. I do think the whole thing comes across professionally but I suppose it depends on what your definition of professional is. I'm not sure what some peoples expectation of a streaming service is but its clearly not going to reach the same standards as Sky, BT or Eurosport on a fraction of the budget the big boys work to. As somebody who has lost my home track it is now the only regular speedway I get to watch and I've thoroughly enjoyed BSNs coverage so far. -
Championship Pairs, Oxford.. Friday, 12th. August

if that is the reason then I would agree with you -
Of which you get to see about 1/50th of the race

They don't seem to be very good at enforcing their own laws, which you can seemingly abuse as much as you like with no repercussions. They are though very good at reminding you when you owe them money after your registration with them has lapsed or is due for renewal.

British Final 2022
AndyPresley replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
This seems the opposite of logical to me. You say Harris never beat any of the other two, but at the same time he was also unbeaten by the other two riders. To make a decision based on Hierarchy would have been a impossible and an awful idea. I don't agree with Ellis being given the wildcard, but I do understand the logic in a situation where there was no ideal solution. GPs are supposed to showcase the very best riders in the world, with the wildcard being the best rider from the staging country who is not already in the GPs. The solution of giving it to Ellis was fair to him, but as a paying punter I want to see the best rider on this years form, not the best from last year. This all comes down to poor planning. Why was an event like this held so close to the GP with no plan B? A conversation in the changing rooms after the very likely event of a rain off isn't good enough! -
Good luck with that if you do. I had a company sending me texts and emails without my permission and made a complaint to the ICO after that company ignored my requests to take me off their mailing lists. Absolutely nothing happened despite approaching the ICO several times.

UK speedway slowly dying

Tell me about it. What are they thinking by doing all that promotion. You would think they were trying to sell tickets or something. Ridiculous. -

Max can be very good on his day. I've seen him beat some top riders around Brough Park. Consistency and away form are his problems, not his ability. -

I got the same email this morning and already subscribe to the BSN. Their monthly subscriptions are rolling but can be cancelled on the website once you've joined. The way I read the email is that people won't be able to sign up for a monthly subscription after this week. Premiership Pairs subscriptions ended after the first round I think so you have to buy them seperately as they are not part of the monthly pass. -
Exactly this

I guess it all depends on what you do. Whilst you throw around your ignorant comments, many of us are more concerned about losing the club we have supported all our lives.

Says the man with a clown as his profile pic

I think you might have that wrong. I'm pretty sure BSN had already advertised that they were including this in their annual and monthly subscriptions as well as the pairs from Oxford.

Bit rude that! I liked his updates and appreciate someone taking the time to bring them to us. -

The big difference being that their skill levels were way higher than most riders, so they could handle it. -
King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 25/4/22

He posted on his social media that he is injured. Looked an awkward crash he had on Saturday -
I remember him being quite small in height, so even if he has bulked up I can’t imagine him being ridiculously heavy
-
He’s fat???
-
Well you soon changed your tune!
-
I’m confused. Is it the commentator Dave Rowe or another person with the same name?

I feel for Laurence and the new Birmingham promoters. Their heart is clearly in the right place and it must be tough to be in this position before they have even started properly. Hopefully something comes up! I have my fingers crossed for you all.

Mark was a good rider, not that it has anything to do with someones's ability to run a speedway club

The advert says early bird prices for both monthly and yearly so I’d be amazed if you could sign up for the playoffs for that price -
Lots of good things appear to be happening at Birmingham under the new promotion. Hopefully they can put together a competitive team and enjoy a successful season. I’ll be making the trip over when the Diamonds pay a visit

I’m very excited by Complins signing. He was good to watch last time he raced and I like to watch a proper racer
