  1. Wherever you decide. I suggest booking a table to make sure you get in, else stadium hot dog beckons.
  2. Restaurant guide coming soon on Pride of the East podcast 😂😂😂
  3. Can you buy tix in advance or is it all pay on day? Also, what time do gates open? TIA.
  4. Farmers arms at Knights Hill were doing fabulous carvery before Xmas and would imagine still are. Good food and place was busy. Suggest checking it is still on and book table
  5. Speedway is not one of the BBC’s sports, ie not one they broadcast. Sport, as pointed out above by Mikebv has wrong demographics for Beeb.
  6. This is far better and much more valuable for a business which can quietly delete any criticism sent their way.
  7. Just giving them feedback on their product. It is not an attack but helping them assess customer satisfaction. It’s fine that you think they do a good job - more feedback for them.
  8. Sad but the Star is on a precipitous decline . Far too much reliance on what is called UGC - user generated content. Local papers went down the route of regurgitating nonsense from social media. Circulations plummeted as a result. I’m quite capable of reading my fellow posters nonsense (and my own) here, on FB and other places. Star should stick to professional news and analysis.
  9. This should be fun and now less than 2 weeks away. How many sleeps before speedway restarts 🤣🤣
  10. Quite a lot of work going on around the Iwade track getting it ready for the Kent Eagles debut next month. Some hard graft being done.
  11. This is going to be great. Really happy for NKI. Fingers crossed on weather
  12. Sounds as if project still has legs. Any update?
  13. Yes, Fen Tigers not in. No mention of Mildenhall in BSP story trailing fixtures coming out at 9am. Thought this might well be the case.
  14. Trouble is that Trophy teams are by and large 2nd strings at most clubs - Leicester the thirds. Clubs will not want to slot in fixtures on rain off days. That would be silly. Also many riders also compete in NDL. Available dates maybe few and far between. It is all rather late with season starting in 6 weeks. We shall have to wait and see.
