I agree with your top three but if Jenkins can progress this season and become a real number three then they'd quickly become my favourite for the title. This may cause a bit of a debate but I see him as having a better future than Flint if he can take that next step this year.

Zach Cook isn't having the best of preseasons but I hope he improves over the course of the regular season. He has a lot more weight on his speedway shoulders this season with a much weaker 2,6 and 7 than last year starting for Poole.

Not really. I can't see any non-speedway fans wanting to pay £25 or whatever it is to see a reserve rider just because she's female. If any do then it'll be solely for the novelty value and we all know every novelty quickly wears off.

As a number three I think Claus will be a good addition to the team if he is the last signing.

It's good to see so many graduates from the British Youth Championships setup riding in the championship this coming season (Joe Thompson, Dan Thompson, Sam McGurk, Sam Hagon, Ace Pijper, Ben Trigger, Freddie Hodder, Max James, Luke Harrison and Max Perry) Proof that this kind of development is essential to the future of speedway in this country. My only wish is that more people would turn out in support of these events because attendances are quite low whenever I've been to them.
