  1. From my understanding Lee has already tested positive for something and they are awaiting a second result to confirm it. Same manner in which Nick Morris and Ritchie Worrall's tests were conducted last season. If the second test comes back with the same result he will be looking at a season ending ban. Until then he is suspended.
  2. You do realise that he lives in Scotland and can be sent to prison for seven years just for upsetting you Who cares! Chill. You're making this forum way too serious and unenjoyable.
  3. That's faster than the race for the toilets after eating one of the pies they sell there
  4. Yep, you're right, I posted it in the wrong thread. Hope it pisses it down in Workington.
  5. The weather is forecast to be good all day today so let's keep our fingers crossed that the weather reports for tomorrow are wrong and the rain misses Armadale altogether.
  6. I was sad to see Vissing leave Glasgow, he's certainly a lot better around Ashfield than Flint has ever been. I wish Claus all the best at Workington and he's already scored 20+1 in two meetings in a bad team so I have no doubt that he's going to be a good signing for them.
  7. Injuries and bike issues were a problem for Riss throughout last year. If he returns to his best he would be a great signing.
  8. Big Sheila who runs the chippy is a bit of a goer
  9. Is Jonas a temporary stopgap until TJ is able to ride? TJ is a heat leader in this league and Knudsen is good but he's not a heat leader. He was really disappointing in his second season at Berwick.
  10. Claus Vissing as a possible candidate to replace TJ?
  11. I'd genuinely pay extra to see Steve Lawson having a crack. I remember him taking the first laps of the new circuit 2 years ago and he didn't look too bad for a 64-year-old (66 now). Anyone know what average he'd come in at?
  12. Not sure what you have against Glasgow, they'll definitely be in the top three or four but I agree that Scunthorpe look like really good contenders this season. However, PLYMOUTH at 3?!!!! Crikey! I'll be amazed if they finish out of the bottom three.
  13. I agree with your top three but if Jenkins can progress this season and become a real number three then they'd quickly become my favourite for the title. This may cause a bit of a debate but I see him as having a better future than Flint if he can take that next step this year.
  14. I know the stadium is a little 'rustic' and the toilets wouldn't look amiss in a Japanese WWII prison camp but there's no need to flee the country over it!
  15. I'm racking my brain but I can't think of any non-binary pan-sexual albino with a withered arm and a glass eye that Workington could bring in to be their next gimmicky tokenistic signing to help sell a couple more tickets to a bedazzled short-on-entertainment Workington populace who think a woman riding a speedway bike is the cultural equivalent of seeing the Wright brothers take off for the first time in a wooden plane. I'm certain they will have searched high and low for one though. Failing that Claus Vissing would be a good signing if he agrees to change his pronouns.
  16. Zach Cook isn't having the best of preseasons but I hope he improves over the course of the regular season. He has a lot more weight on his speedway shoulders this season with a much weaker 2,6 and 7 than last year starting for Poole.
  17. I don't think Glasgow will win it this year but i said that last year as well. Then again I didn't forsee the signing of Tarasenko which turned a very good team into an unbeatable one. That signing was a bit of genius.
  18. Not really. I can't see any non-speedway fans wanting to pay £25 or whatever it is to see a reserve rider just because she's female. If any do then it'll be solely for the novelty value and we all know every novelty quickly wears off.
  19. As a number three I think Claus will be a good addition to the team if he is the last signing.
