He told you that himself did he?

Yep, apologies, I meant Max James not Max Perry, I always get the two mixed up

Flint is hardly likely to increase his average and is neither a 1 or a 5
-
That's six

I've said this before but they really need to shift their body weight going into corners and keep turning left

What kind of excuse is that?! You're attitude is really poor. Do you think my grandmother would have survived the mortar shells at Gallipoli with that kind of attitude? She'd have been court martialed and shot and deservedly so! The league should make an exemption for the Tigers and let them have an extra ten points no matter what Poole fans may think. In fact Poole should start with a 14-point limit imho.

I thought it was supposed to be over in June or July. I think he's probably knocked the speedway on the head. Can't see him coming back.

Harris, Basso, Tarasenko (on a 5.00), Boughen, JP, Hodder and Foord. Think it probably all fits if the average is around 40 points. BOOF! Back of the net, Get in!!!

Glasgow Tigers vs Poole Pirates 26th July
Nickinho replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What happened to 'First Bend' videos? They used to film all the meetings and sell the DVDs. And what was that drone all about?? They sent it up into the sky and then it vanished never to be seen again. The social media side of the promotion is pretty poor as well which is highlighted by the Tigers website which is often neglected by whoever is meant to be running it. -
Glasgow Tigers vs Poole Pirates 26th July
Nickinho replied to lbw's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Let's be honest, if this fixture was at Poole it would be a gubbing. It's quite concerning how the Tigers have only just scraped home wins this season whilst away from home they've generally been dismal but I think they might be exposed by the Pirates tonight. Should be a good meeting regardless and the weather looks fine going into the afternoon so it will hopefully go ahead and we'll see some great racing. -
Considering that British speedway is hugely reliant on the weather having three empty Fridays during July is not good.

Isn't that a movie starring David Bowie?

I know how you feel. I flit between Ashfield and Armadale anyway but this 3 week layoff during July is not helpful in retaining the interest of potential fans. -
Glasgow v Plymouth - 28/06

I thought the football might have been on the telly as well which could have contributed to the crowd level but I don't know if any is on tonight. -

No doubt all the climate alarmists in the media will try to tell us it's been "THE HOTTEST JUNE SINCE RECORDS BEGAN!" and everyone will believe it. It is f***ing baltic tonight. -

Poor attendance here tonight compared to previous weeks but hopefully the racing will pick up soon -
Just wondering how this list is compiled. If entertainment factor is one of the criteria then Pickering should be number one every month.

Where did Paco 2.0 come from and how long is he here for?? He's treating every race he's in like they're heat 14! Almost a maximum against the Tigers and now 10 from 4 rides against the Cheetahs. He's been fantastic this month, definitely the most improved rider in the Championship.
-
Ben was always going to leave the Campionship after last season but i agree about Claus. However, apart from Anders Rowe, which other regular rider has been squeezed out of the Championship this year due to the drop in averages who actually wanted a team place this season?
-
Two new track records broken in both heats 1 and 2!
-
Poor attendance today but the track looks great so I'm hoping for some great racing

I'd completely forgotten about the u21 final until it was mentioned at Armadale last night. I hope the Tigers lads do well but the racing was good last year and well worth the admission. I'm looking forward to it and the weather should be glorious.
