Boughen's looked good so far this season and I think Killeen will like this track more than the smaller ones. If Jenkins gets the better of Flint then this first leg could be a difficult proposition tonight.

The weather looks really good today and the forecast isn't too bad for tomorrow morning although there will be some rain up until 4pm but I can't see it giving the track staff much of a problem.

I'm glad to see Nathan Ablitt doing so well at the start of this season, I've always thought he had the ability but his introduction as a Poole reserve a couple of years ago was brutal and he was really thrown in at the deep end. Last season I saw very encouraging signs not least his competitiveness and his capacity for getting back on his bike and remaining professional no matter what the provocation or setback and he is finally beginning to hit his stride and I genuinely believe that Scunthorpe have the best reserve in the league.

Providing it goes ahead I think this will be decided by the newbies in each team - Leon, Paul and James for Glasgow, Justin, Connor and Max for Edinburgh. The rest will no doubt perform as we expect so the onus will be on what the new guys will bring to the fixture. I think Glasgow by six at the end of the meeting.

If that's the case then the test can be analysed to show the ingredients of whatever he took. These tests are pretty much fool proof these days. Even a simple breath test can be used in a court of law.
