I heard it was Susan Boyle and she's planning to raze the stadium to the ground and erect a 90ft statue of herself. Just a rumour at this stage though.

I read somewhere that Berwick are still at war with Russia. Is this true and if so what does it mean for the group?

He wasn't the same after being put into the second bend fence by Jorgensen when Scunny came to Glasgow. After that i don't think he won a race (in 10 meetings) Confidence is a funny thing.

I guess we won't know how many until April.

Does anyone know where Sam Jensen is headed next season? Is he staying in Britain?

At 19-years-old it's hardly a "make or break season for him". Look at John Louis, Craig Cook and a whole host of others who entered the sport late. At least wait until he's 23 or so before writing him off as a lower or middle order rider.

Any news on Cook? And also what would his average be? -
In a good season he's a 5.50 - 7.00 rider. Makes sense if he's up for it.

Anyone know what averages foreign riders would come in at uf they were available? Eg. are polish riders given a higher average than Danish ones and what would be the averages of young riders such as Mads Hansen and Norik Blodorn. Marcin Novak came in on a 5 point average last season and Benjamin Basso was also given a five so is it the case for all foreign riders even a Laguta? -
On his day Sedgmen can really race and he'd have an 8 point average if his head was screwed on properly but sadly it isn't. In his last meeting for the Tigers he was on for a five race maximum but got excluded in heat 15. He looked really focused that day but the following days saw him kicked from the team and replaced by Brennan. Worth a shot on his average I think.

Nicol at 4 isn't inspiring and Ostergaard at his age coming back from an injury will not be the same rider. -

What's the final line-up then? -
According to the BSPA website Morris and Shanes are 'fan favourites' and the promoters said "You could say they were in demand and there were a few clubs interested in signing them." What am i missing here?

Whatcha all think? Masters - Pickering - Jorgensen - Thomson - (Josh) McDonald - Anders and Mulford.

After seeing Jason Edwards a few times last season at Edinburgh and the U21 final at Berwick in 2020 i'd say that he's more than capable of upping his average to 5 points this season. Definitely one for the future.

What system for team building would you choose to adopt if you were the manager of a team? Some teams like Glasgow have started their building from the bottom up (Bailey, Hume etc), some teams like Leicester opted for the top down approach (Morris, Worrall etc) whilst others such as Newcastle went for padding out the middle order first (Wethers, Starke, Clegg)? *Obviously i'm aware of factors such as rider availability and the fact that every manager will have a rough idea of the seven riders (and their averages) which he wishes to bring in before signings are even made. -

I don't remember Cradley complaining about having too many young riders in the early 80s... -
Good signings so far for the Glasgow Tigers. Who's next? Personally i think Kasper Andersen would be a great signing at number 3 and be impressive alongside Brennan (unless he's already committed to somewhere else that i'm not aware of) and would leave the Tigers with over 7 points for the last rider (Adam Ellis ?) *provided Cook re-signs of course 1 Cook 2 Basso 3 Andersen 4 Brennan 5 ? 6 Hume 7 Bailey

Thanks

How come the BSPA haven't acknowledged the Glasgow signings on their website?
