  1. It's absolutely fine. I'm always glad that someone posts anything in here because this is the only confirmed signings page which hasn't been pinned by the mods. I've tried emailing them but i may as well have written a letter to Santa.
  2. That's pretty much my prediction except i'd rate Oxford a bit higher as they have 3 heat leaders, 2 more than capable mid-order riders (Jenkins and Heeps) and a lad at reserve (Luke Killeen) who i rate very highly.
  3. My predictions (although form and injury will surely play their part to scupper them...) Berwick - not too bad, they will be on the edges of the play-offs all year. Birmingham - yikes!!! Edinburgh - they've kept 5 of their seven riders from last year and that will be something which they can use to their advantage. Top 4. Glasgow - a good mix of youth and experience plus a huge home track advantage will make sure that they are around the top places - Top 4. Oxford - if Cameron Heeps and Jordan Jenkins can help their top three i can see them being in the play-offs come the end of the season. Plymouth - if Dan Gilkes can become a heat leader and Paul Starke the strongest no. 2 in the league then this could be their year - Top 4, potential winners. Poole - Provided they resign Lawson and the Cook's continue their trajectory they will be up there once again - Top 4, potential winners. Redcar - Jason Edwards and Jake Mulford will be among the strongest reserves in the league and will help their top heavy team immensely. Play-offs for sure. Scunthorpe - On paper they don't look the strongest but speedway is raced on shale (boom! boom!) so i think they are also capable of reaching the play-offs. Regardless of whichever team you support have a happy new year everyone!
  4. I'm the same. I can't stand the sight of James Corden along with that continuous laugh of his.
  5. Thanks Lisa! Wait, how do i do that? [edit] it's okay, i found a way to message them
  6. Anyone know how i can pin this thread? All the other league's confirmed signing threads are pinned on the main boards except this one. Just wondering.
  7. I think Connor Bailey just squeezes in after the British rider reduction so he could be the last rider announced.
  8. That leaves no room for Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen then
  9. Any clues? Does one have long hair perchance?
  10. To be fair to the lad Ashfield is a very intimidating track for younger riders, the first time i saw Jacob Hook at Glasgow he looked like he'd just started riding speedway for the very first time.
  11. I'd say Richard Lawson is a likely bet for the second heat leader role but as for the other two i have no ikea. If Lawson is coming bcak then they will have the space to bring in two 4-pointers at reserve (provided that Jack Thomas was brought in to be the number 2 as stated) It'll be a strong team.
  12. Plymouth look very good with 3 heat leaders and Dan Gilkes ready to hit the big time if he avoids injury. I agree about Birmingham, they look like potential wooden spoon candidates in 2023.
  13. For 2023 i predict a year of bad weather, a 2-month unexpected break during the two hottest months of the year and the standard of food at most tracks to become much, much worse. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
  14. I was what the medical community would consider depressed until i rekindled my faith in God and also tackled the root causes of what was making me unhappy. Ever since then i've never been more at peace with life. In most cases there are underlying reasons as to why people become depressed but these days doctors are all too quick to describe medication but i believe that's an easy cop out from a medical profession who are not what they used to be and are now merely pill-pushers. Craig has to face whatever was in his past and what is making him unhappy and become everything he truly wants to be and i'm not just talking in a speedway sense. [edit] i expect criticism for this post but i don't care
  15. I had a feeling Claus would be the 7th rider announced
  16. Max Clegg and Connor Bailey are still available
  17. I'd almost forgotten about Connor and Max. I have a feeling that Connor could end up being the 7th rider at Brum. His average would fit.
  18. If that happens i'm going to need someone to lift me over the turnstiles
  19. TV advertising is a bit of a waste of money imo, they would be better doing more targeted social media slots, eg advertising on football forums during the summer when football closes down would be an avenue they could explore. Wouldn't cost much either, sometimes just 'word of mouth' online can do the trick.
