  1. Don't worry Tigers fans, even with the strongest team in the Championship after the Tarasenko signing, Cammy will still find a way to lose the Final
  2. Damn. You're right. I was there and i forgot that 11 heats had been completed. For some reason i thought it had been abandoned after 6 heats. I must have been thinking of another meeting in the past.
  3. Should be an easy victory for the Monarchs with Dayle Wood getting an 18 point maximum
  4. I agree. And i've seen a lot of improvement in him this season too.
  5. Just one problem with your theory: Ablitt did score in most meetings even if it was only 1 or two points. At Armadale he got 3+2 if i remember correctly. Nobody is 'required' to score 0.
  6. If he's available then Harrison would be a terrific signing. I still think Dayle Wood wouldn't be so much of a concern if he was in a similar situation to Nathan Abllitt last season when Poole's top order were so strong that they could afford to compensate for him. Edinburgh's top order this season have not been at their best with injuries etc., and the middle order has been all over the place this season. A top six place for the Monarchs is all that is necessary and then changes can take place before the play-off/group stages if needed.
  7. I live in a neighbourhood where i need to check it constantly
  8. Incidentally, in regards to Kye, i also developed a similar type of illness a few months ago, and i ended up in hospital as well. It was in every way just like food poisoning but it lasted 5 days and i couldn't trace it back to anything i ate as i prepare all my food myself and don't eat takeaway slop or open bakery products that half the neighbourhood has touched. Kye's symptoms should clear up soon but the 'mystery illness' is still a mystery to me too. Be careful what you eat everyone.
  9. Is there any word on the condition of the injured person yet?
  10. Have to disagree. This is the first time Dayle Wood has crashed or taken anyone off since he moved up to this level. I've seen lots of better riders who have crashed and taken others off this season. Are you saying that Lewis Kerr shouldn't be riding at Championship level after he overcooked the corner and ran straight into the back of Craig Cook three months ago, taking Craig off and launching himself into the air fence at Oxford?
  11. I was never a fan of Thatcher but i don't think she was responsible for the accident last night or the reaction of the BSN streamers.
  12. Good system but i'm amazed Lewis Kerr and Jake Allen are so high up that list.
  13. I think the new third bend seating should be called the Mitchell Davey stand. It's really tall and it looks very wobbly.
  14. Max Clegg has looked dreadful for over a year now. I expected him to stay in the NDL or quit the sport so this news is a bit of a shocker for me. Losing Lasse and replacing him with Max is not a good move imo and the guest facility would have been better in the long run as they could have picked away track specialists.
  15. How has it been a 'right off'?? The Monarchs are into the top six now and Kye has finally starting to get wins again and if Borke can become a decent middle order rider then the play-offs are easily within reach. It's a long season.
  16. Not really. If the first test was inconclusive (which it must have been to require a second test) then it's inconclusive that he was under any kind of influence of drink or drugs. If i were a lawyer that is how i would argue it.
  17. Marriage is a mug's game but if he is going to 'take the plunge' he should at least have waited until October. He should have put the club first.
  18. I dare say the other rider don't like it much either...
  19. It'll be close but Pickering and Cook are a better Heat 13 (and probable Heat 15) partnership than Schlein and Jorgensen. Kye has to start putting up the numbers in the middle order for this meeting to not have to go down to the wire.
  20. "Following Nick Morris Breach of the SCB Regulations at Birmingham Speedway on the 12th July 2023 and therefore receiving a 30 day suspension of his SCB Registration pending a SCB Disciplinary Hearing, the hearing was due to take place on the 25th July 2023. Mr Morris and his legal team requested a postponement of the hearing for a later date, on the understanding that Mr Morris suspension would continue until the hearing takes place, regardless that the date exceeded the initial 30 day suspension period." How does this legal move make sense??
  21. Poole International Airport closed for refurbishment again?
  22. There was a shocking amount of dust at last night's meeting and yet i never once saw the track being watered. I got a real eyeful. Perhaps the tractor drivers should spend less time trying to murder the track staff and more time watering the track. Good racing though but not great. Probably because of the dry track. What concerns me the most though is Glasgow's inability to beat the better teams over two legs. Redcar, Poole and Oxford most likely have all comfortably seen off the Tigers in recent months. It doesn't matter if Ashfield holds such a home track advantage if they constantly underachieve on the road. This isn't a title-winning side from what i've seen so far. Tom looked better tonight. Claus continues to fustrate with his machine problems. I'm always tempted to write 'EF' in the programme every time he takes to the track to save myself time after the race when i'm busy writing in the winning time. I can't understand why he is having so much trouble finishing four laps. Anyway, congratulations to the Pirates, they deserved to win the BSN trophy over the two legs and were a class act.
