Quality signing if he doesn't dissappear. Good number when he gets going. And he was a rider I didn't know had signed. Brummies team is looking good
-
I wouldn't panic Poole fans, they always build great sides. They are probably the only club that takes real care in selecting riders. I mean Tobias Thomson was a masterstroke of signing. Came from nowhere and everyone thought he would be bang average. Poole saw something else. A rider with experience and potential to improve on his average beating riders that are far younger and less experienced. They don't just sign a rider for the sake of averages, they look at the finer details. That's what makes them better at team building.

Even thought we are weaker at 2 with lawson departing for Howarth. Lets not forget how good Howarth was at when he was in the Championship at Leicester. Yes it's a different league but Stewart commented on the Lions website stating Kyle will get plenty of practice laps in before the season starts and during. He can ride the track well once he gets going. If cook does sign then it is an upgrade on Kemp who started the season with us. Again it's a risk but with Stewart working with him at Berwick you would like to think he can be a decent point scorer like Kyle if he gets dialled in. So really the team hasn't changed much. It really all depends on how Kyle, Craig and Luke all progress. If they can get better then the Lions should have another decent season.

Won't be Douglas sorry to dissapoint you
-
Seen worse guesses. Been told half the side but can't reveal anything but it's better than I thought it would be
-
If it is that team I'm fine with it. Solid but nothing too exciting
-
Howarth confirmed
-
I can't see either of them getting a big number 1 but would be delighted to be proved wrong. I expect Tungate and Magic to settle at 1 and 5 with plenty of riders that are on a 5/6 point averages. Birmingham I really don't have a clue
-
It depends on who you are up against. At home Lawson will be probably end up at 5 but if I was up against a team away from home where I'm struggling to see wins in certain heats you can try target other heats like heat 8 and 14 etc
-
I'd put Kvech at 4 personally. Rob has a great opportunity to switch riders around depending on the opposition. Could easily put Cook and Lawson as a pair and that gives Lawson heat 8 as well. Makes them strong in heats others aren't.

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

Cracking side I reckon. A matter of keeping riders fit ofcourse -
Kings Lynn's side isn't built for heats 13 and 15. More like heat 2 ,12 14 etc
-
Think Kim would be a decent signing
-
Doesn't sound like a team with a budget for 500 fans attending

Announcement at 7
-
Worth a punt I reckon.
-
What's his average?

Now teams are getting put in place it really makes you wonder who Birmingham are signing. If the rumoured teams are true then there isn't one heat leader I can think of who is signing. Lots of 4/5 point riders avaliable. Worrall, Sedgmen, S Lambert, Rory S, Kemp, Vuolas, Rew etc. They have to surely convince some foreign guys to come over. They have no choice really .
-
Still no Jubilee final. Gutted.
-
Rumour has it Cook is signing for Berwick, makes the Cook to Leicester rumour even more convincing with Stewart managing both sides
-
The rumours mill suggests just one or two changes. New number 6 and Howarth for Lawson
-
As a Lions fan can I say how jealous I am of this side? If Ipswich don't have any serious injuries and don't win the league then I'm calling them 'spursy'
-
Your right. We had a great season and probably over achieved slightly. We can moan all we want about how we would build the team but we always seem to perform well with Stewart in charge
-
Controversial opinion here but I wouldn't have even had them running the last few years. Surely the money Tolley has lost could have been saved up to focus on bringing back the club in a more safe financial state. Workington managed to build a track out of nothing and the Tolley should have done something similar even if that meant re naming the club or even moving them out of the city. People will disagree with this point but I'd rather see the brummies not run for a number of years if that meant they could be force later down the line.

I expect Douglas at the Lions but I could be wrong
