  1. Great attitude and determination by the lions when it all seemed lost early on. Still think this could go either way, a wet track is a leveller at Leicester. If it's dry, then lions to win easy
  2. Glad Oxford are putting there club first. This and the sad departure of Birmingham closing has forced the BSPAs hand. One major League is a gamble but it's a necessary change, because what we have now isn't working. I hope something is sorted that benefits all supporters and the clubs financial futures..
  3. GP riders not trying there hardest in British speedway is one of the many reasons why I'm not fussed about them potentially not riding here anymore..
  4. Really tough to call this one over two legs. Ipswich have been so flaky recently, don't know why but they just seem to not click. Belle Vue again can be flaky, inconsistent and away from have been poor at times but at least Belle Vue have been here and done this before. They have got good experience and at home they can be deadly when it's all clicking. Going for a 52-38 home win..
  5. Wel well well what a great night for myself, dad and all my friends who witnessed Leicester lions winning a top flight trophy for the first time. God it really couldn't have gone any better for me. I was first concerned about the forecast and it turned out to be dry and a beautiful summers day. I mean even Drew Kemp looked a completely different rider. Every single lions rider turned up and looked great chipping in with some vital points. Alot of the fans I spoke to were semi nervous/excited, just like myself but looking at the final score was it ever in doubt? I mean a 60-30 is an absolute thrashing especially for a final, message sent to the rest of the league. I feel for Lynn fans, I saw a few around but they weren't very noisy. I can't blame them either because half of there riders didn't turn up. I know the ref made a controversial call in heat 6 but let's be honest it wouldn't have any difference whatsoever. Leicester are simply too strong at home. Wow great night of speedway and to see so many supporters celebrating at the end was great. We were all bouncing on bend 2 with smiles all round. GET IN !!!! Champions!!!!!!
  6. You can moan about the decision but let's be honest Leicester have been a class above so far
  7. I was standing Infront of the incident and can confirm Fricke didn't touch klindt. BUT I was shocked the ref excluded klindt
  8. 4 points ahead. Klindt looks quick. Great start again for Brennan..still all to play for
  9. If Kemp does come to the party then that's bad for Lynn. I don't think Kemp will score many though, maybe 2 or 3 points
  10. I've been going through heat by heat trying different scenarios of how the meeting could pan out. Every time it ends up in a lions win by at least 4-10 points. I suspect Klindt will replace Harrison and possibly Iversen in heats 11 and 14. I wouldn't rule out Klindt taking a ride for Nicholls or Bomber either if they end up mis firing. I'm sure Lawson, Kvech, Klindt and Harris will score respectfully, but its a big ask for Nicholls, Iversen and Harrison to do the business also. Nicholls is only just returning from the sidelines, Iversen doesn't seem match fit and Harrison will find it tough. I've not even mentioned how Harris has been struggling with his set up. You also have to take into consideration that Kemp should score a few more points tonight, I don't expect him to beat the likes of Lawson and Kvech but Kemp on his day can beat Nicholls, Iversen and even Klindt at Leicester. Having said that I've only got him down scoring 2 points! I do have hope for Lynn as its a one off meeting and the lions aren't unbeatable at home but they really do need abit of luck and a real team effort. Going for a 48-42 win for the lions. If Leicester do manage to disappoint me again then at least the cup is going to Lynn. They deserve something to cheer them up.
  11. I was thinking the weather could be leveler, currently at work in Lutterworth and its raining but the forecast later in Leicester is fairly dry. But I don't live near the track so god knows. If its dry then Leicester shouldnt have too many issues
  12. All those scores are very achievable for KL. It's just hoping Masters, Dougy and Fricke have off nights. Leicester nearly won at Lynn with 3 points at reserve. That shows how strong the top 5 is .
  13. Based on how we are talking so much about Klindt really shows that if Klindt doesn't score well then Kings Lynn don't have a chance of winning.
