Having watched Dan Bewley's YouTube channel I'm guessing that him and Adam Ellis might have preferred a couple of jumps down each straight. Well done Tigers, the better team from 1-7.

Panthers certainly had an off day, today, including several mechanical failures but the Aces were very impressive and a promising season surely lies ahead.

Zagar did well in the Peter Craven, second in a pretty high class field and must be an improvement on what Aces currently have. The crowds will come if we're winning.

Why the delay anyway? I suspect that it was to maximise ticket sales. Letting local supporters think, like lots of posters on this site, that Bewley would be included. The event is sold out now so they can make the announcement.
