  1. Wow, your a bundle of laughs, it’s a sport not life or death
  2. It is Charles Wright, probably makes Poole stronger as he rides the EWR really well and using R/R for Toft I fear the worst.
  3. Well done the Pirates, in a different class, Scunny lacking a true no 1 and the sooner Ablitt is dropped the better.
  4. What a poor meeting, gate and go bore fest, no wonder speedway is going down the pan
  5. Another embarrassing performance on the road for Scunny, how they could do with a number 1 rider, (come back Douglas please ), Poole reserves better than Scunny heat leaders, 2nd leg just an anti-climax.
  6. Being unable now to get to the track thought I would purchase the Scunthorpe live stream which I watched at my leisure after 11pm, the coverage was excellent, you could see all the action round the track especially the Wright/Allen clashes, total respect to both riders for racing that close, obviously the starting gate problems were a drawback and using David Blunkett as a referee was a mistake but all in all terrific coverage and £12 well spent, can’t wait for next week.
  7. Wow, how poor are Scunny, I said yesterday after the Berwick hammering that Scunny are a team of good second strings with occasionally rising to heat leader, I’ll change that to Scunny are a team of poor second strings, it’s early days yet but the door is ajar already for Toft and Howarth, especially Howarth who I don’t rate anyway, Scunny have no number one again and boy does it show
  8. Unfortunately Scorpions have that old problem of not having a No1 now that Douglas has gone, basically it is a team of good second strings who occasionally ride like heat leaders + Kyle Howarth wasn't a very good signing
  9. It’s not that rare, 2 out of 3 Premiership matches today were won by the away team
  10. Oh Dear, how did Paul Starke suddenly appear in Scunny’s plans, well passed his best
  11. Hopefully not, it would be a backward step as I think both Jorgensen and Toft from their initial performances have flattered to deceive, neither has made the progress that should have made them riding for their country or are reliable from one week to another.
  12. Probably too short notice but ironically it’s a beautiful sunny day here and forecast looks good for the rest of the day, from tomorrow looks crap.
  13. What a fantastic meeting, the racing was brilliant besides the one sided scoring, Flint after 2 duff rides was then in the thick of the action and Etheridge and Schlein tried hard, impressed with Luke Harrison but it seemed like a season too far for Hans Andersen, All the Scorpions rode well even though Drew Kemp had a bit of bad luck
