  1. 5 teams already riding, Plymouth have no-one. Glasgow could have maybe used Brennan, Harris already riding at Birmingham for Coventry. Other options were really the other Leicester HLs
  2. Jepsen Jensen in for huckenbech. Any complaints about that...
  3. At least fans won't moan about it cause they voted for it...
  4. Neither Leicester or Glasgow got gifted a 60 point walk over against an under strength side so hardly see how that would be fair. Poole may have more of a chance by saying they had the better results and didn't rely on points difference. In any case fixtures should just be given by the the bspl and the clubs get on with it imo
  5. About bloody time. The current system was ok imo when had the double point rides that kept teams in contention. But since that changed been loads of meetings become processional once result is beyond doubt
  6. Good efforts from Tom and Ben. But who the hell thought practice and then two 23 heat meetings on a temporary track was a good idea? Feel for SGP2 lads. A mud bath in Prague and a barely raceable track today
  7. Correct. There's certain riders who aren't made for team riding. In the Parker stancl years at Glasgow you had probably the best at it in Shane and the worst in big geo. He was set up to go as fast as he possibly could at all times. Amount of carnage nearly saw with him and liked of James cockle trying to team ride. Basso of same ilk, ride hard ride fast.
  8. What the 2 older, wiser heads. You've no idea what they discussed before the race. Humey maybe told him just head down arse up I'll look after myself. Team riding is a dead art, saw 0 of it in SON so why folk so desperate for it last night?
  9. The 2nd youngest rider dominates the meeting, goes unbeaten, gets criticism. Only in British speedway
  10. Going to wear my Benjamin basso pyjamas tonight. Absolute legend. Great effort humey too
  11. Well there was a disappointment from the promotion it was taken away and subsequently were given PLRC for a year. Pretty self explanatory I'd say
  12. When such a farce happened in Glasgow it was taken from us. That's mostly my point
  13. Feel for Oxford. This should be highlight of their very successful season relaunch turning into bit of a farce.
  14. Presumably klindt could do both leagues now he's free from Poland. But only if Craig is injured I'd go down that route
  15. No point in a double change as would need to drop the averages back down to 42 or whatever we started with. Had a suspicion a certain Mr vissing might be used for ulle but not sure his status, 28 day must be up now?
  16. Honestly I think he's probably fit enough if he needed to be. Was talk he'd be back for Birmingham but was probably told to make sure he's fully fit for last couple months of season. He'll be back for Redcar on 21st I'd wager
  17. Your second attempted dig at him on this thread hasn't gone your way. Sounds like he's living rent free in your head
  18. Bickley must be on for some kind of record clubs in a season. Shame honestly thought he'd kick on with a 2nd season at same track
  19. Danyon was outstanding got paid 14 I think from reserve in the league match. Semi's look doable. No batch for Oxford? I seem to remember second year we held the pairs rye house had a similar situation to Plymouth but didn't bother to send a pair. Our reserves made up Glasgow B side, least Plymouth have some representation however weak
  20. Not sure about flint but Brennan is either 3rd or 4th in our averages depending on who you believe as him and ulle have same figure. So if wasn't cook and basso as our 1 and 2 wouldn't that be more of a pi$$ take to the public?
