Is it Glasgow got the folk in who also do plastic whistle and it's the Donner kebab pies?
-
Didn't basso go unbeaten at the pairs?
-
My bad wrong cook
-
He finished season like a train no doubt, but that's no guarantee of the new season. Prime example being broc Nicol! He's no spring chicken so he might make a bigger jump, it's just an opinion
-
Sure? During the poor run of early summer? Not having a go at the rider, was class on his ashfield debut. Hasn't been as impressive since curiously. Cook has far more pressure for first time that Thomson and Brennan had last season. I see those 2 adding a point or more to their averages, if cook can add 0.5-1 will have done well imo.
-
Is my mind deceiving me or weren't there Poole fans on here about June time wanting Ben cook replaced? Now he's better than Brennan and Thomson? Short memories
-
Lewi Kerr and Starkey were the killers imo. But it's part of the game
-
It's all about opinions, no accusations here.
-
I'm sure it's been said before but if that was any other teams 1-7 people be picking holes in it all over the place. But being Poole's have to expect be up there. Not convinced roynon and Newman will "clean up" as has been suggested. 2 injury prone riders on the wane imo and some of others teams youngsters (Edwards, Pearson, maybe even hook) to improve past them. No doubt score well at home but not so sure away.
-
Then where do you stop? Birmingham decide it's bit far, Scunthorpe, Redcar. As crescent girl said it was done with Newport because they brought hundred of fans. Sure if you fill 10 buses and approach the facennas they'll be all ears
-
Glasgow and Edinburgh ride on the same night. Friday is our race night. And do you really think Glasgow have any say over the Edinburgh promoter who does the fixtures. Usual BS we've come to expect
-
Lol Poole fan complaining about another club being discussed on their thread. Very definition of irony right there
-
Rather give it to your lot that messrs Campbell and harkess!! By all accounts I'm sure be far more entertaining too if track lives up to the hype
-
Could throw in the old 4s style qualifiers for something different. Or 3s as it would probably need to be now
-
Rather go to worky support Connor and ace!!!
-
Quick glance at Glasgow fixtures no meeting between 14th April and 5th May? Assume similar at time be reflected in other teams. With such a reduced season why not just have a set night of say Friday and you have one home a fortnight. Looks better than what I'm seeing
-
Other than tongue in cheek you won't see many (any?) Glasgow fans saying that. There are definite holes you can pick at, as there are with all the sides. I don't envisage vissing to be 8.5 rider in 2019 but somewhere between 6.5 & 7 riding at 2 or 4 rather than no.1. I've said my piece on Harris and probably complin too and not convinced by either signing. It's an exciting side but not favourites for me, 7 teams with not much between them on paper and 2 weak teams beginning with B unfortunately would be my tuppence worth
-
If I was to guess I'd say Oxford might see how their 2 pointers start the season and if not scoring points he'd get in there.
-
Doesn't mean there's no advantage though. We had the highest home average total in the championship last season. And the team imo looks set up for the same this season as basso, nowak, vissing will be far better at home than away. Just because we have a good racetrack doesn't make it less of a home advantage. Otherwise how did belle Vue ever win the prem?
-
Absolutely how it should be
-
Hopefully with cookie being held in high esteem by both sets of fans can quel some of the daftness been going on last few years. Haven't been to armadale for 5 years for that very reason. I'm all for banter but just gone too far. Used to go every week and support whoever the opposition was and have a laugh on the back straight, all turned after the takeover imo when we were no longer the poor neighbours getting skelpt every time.
-
Yeah plus at least 2 quid for a seat. Saying that paid nearly 70quid to watch my fitba team get beat 7-1 this year so in comparison lol. Didn't under 16s used to be free or has it always been under 12s?
-
So a seated season ticket is averaging out at over 20quid a meeting. Almost scared to see what going to be charging per meeting
-
How I'd quantify it is that Sam in particular has been a 9 plus man for 10 or more years in the champ, Dougie had a great season but if wants to usurp masters he'll need to do it consistently
-
I'm struggling to separate about 5/6 sides. Plymouth, Edinburgh, Scunthorpe, Poole, Redcar, Glasgow all look well matched strong in differing areas. Berwick and Oxford I just think 2 pointers at reserve will get you in the end, seen many Glasgow sides built that way did nothing. Birmingham unfortunately look weak again
