  1. Yeah did it from bspl comes to 39.9 so as normski says 4.39. don't see much on that average new Aussie or run with a jack Smith or equivalent start of season?
  2. Was that complin, had in my head was someone else for some reason.
  3. Tbf was going with confirmed signings thread, Kennedy 4.27 and they were 0.26 under the 40. 4.53 by my dodgy maths but the thread may be wrong
  4. Think they'd have about 4.50 to replace him Kemps nearer 5 is he not?
  5. Old shape ashfield I took cover several times on the 4th bend when Lee was riding, was sure he was landing in beside me!! Like you say struggled at the more hater friendly tracks
  6. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21836531/died-four-car-crash-miracle-speedway/amp/ Few days old now but helluva story and one I wasn't aware of
  7. Maybe not but was paid for 8 both meetings for Glasgow at Berwick last season so shouldn't be a long tail there at least
  8. Good to see you g Connor improve as meeting went on, feel he'll make big strides this year away from comfort of ashfield. Danyon will come good the lads a bit of class about him. Probably as strong second strings and reserves as there is in the league last night, goes to show Redcar won't need much from their bottom 4 to win matches. Very good side
  9. Yeah I think it's a team that there's going to be a fight to get on the outside line!! Don't see much room for team riding lol
  10. If I was to guess I'd say the new race suits weren't ready and Tom had binned/ donated his. Ace was wearing one of last year's I believe
  11. Sure this has been brought up before but can't find it. Going on website today only option to buy the season pass, is there going to be a monthly payment option and if so when will it be available?
  12. A very un Poole signing, fully expected rew. Has the talent but always seemed to lack consistency. A step down from Thomas imo and will probably end up at reserve first set of averages. Not strongest side on paper but it's Poole, so they'll be up there come end of season
  13. Think best options at that average would be tempting auty, ulle or spud summers out of retirement
  14. Think you'd be better with kemp or young Dan than having broc. Seemed to go backwards last season seems hamstrung with shoulder issue.
  15. Can't find the averages any more but sure batch is around 7.2? So would need 9.2 to bring in ablett meaning have to be Newman released leaving roynon as your senior reserve all season. If my memory and calculator isn't playing tricks on me lol
  16. Don't know what posts your reading but most posts I've read are positive from opposition fans. haven't seen any saying what a bad signing it is
  17. He was scoring pretty well at home at least start of last season proctor, won heat 1 at ashfield I'm sure very comfortably. Personal opinion might work out better than most of the others suggested for the spot.
  18. Hope jack isn't going to be one held back by injuries never reaches his potential. Was a lovely kid in his spell in the stripes be a shame if he becomes a Mitch Davey/ Adam roynon. Most importantly hope he makes a full recovery from his injuries
  19. 3 from 4 rides. In fairness Jenkins scored paid 17 that night from reserve!
  20. Shane's is what he is, a 4.5/5 point champ rider more committed to grasstrack. Connor is dedicated and determined to make a success of speedway. If he can up his away average a couple points you've got 6 pointer on your hands. I think moving from Glasgow will be the making of him personally Additionally he has NDL now too, his form dipped when was a lull in the season having the extra meetings will definitely help his progress
  21. Better signing than Shanes in the long run imo. Disappointed we didn't fit him in as this could be the season he really kicks on. Suspect will only be at 2 until first set of averages and swap with Edwards. Really like look of that side now.
  22. On very rough maths on averages if you have Doyle a 12, Ellis was roughly 8 last season in champ, batch was about 7, vissing and Rowe 5s, Smith a 3 and hagon 2. Roughly 42 so not far off the points limit Oxford built too
  23. Reading on the press release he's bought a lot of the Sarj's gear. Wonder if he'll be able to prevent them going through the tapes
