Tougher match than Plymouth's league position would have you believe. Howarth had his best meeting at ashfield last year and barker is always exciting and worth a win or 2. Despite Richie's publicised dislike of the current shape was very good in the test match last year. Gilkes was excellent in u21s and dan T penny seemed to drop during that meeting and his form has taken off everywhere since. Reserves look weak though, 53-37ish for me

I recall a press release when Jim holder was with iow to the contrary that they were assets but it was 15 years ago so is a hazy recollection at best. Fair enough can claim those ones but I highly doubt was such an agreement with Lynn about Darcy

Couldn't disagree more. Prem can't attract the best riders, so guys who'd never have been HLs in the past now are because the strength of that league. Powers that be even watered down the level in champ this season, name one rider that doubled up last year that hasn't this? All did was cause the 4.5-6 riders missed out. Champ wasn't the issue when was elite league and best riders were there. Again champ fixtures are getting fewer and fewer hence riders need to double up to make money. 2 home and away would have plenty meetings no need to double up as much

Absolutely agree. Top bunch, had 2 rain offs out of 3 on that tour and still there enjoying themselves with a smile on their face.

I'm loathe to criticise any promotion as know there's so much time effort and money goes in to running a speedway club. But that's 2 entirely avoidable instances in a under a week that just bring embarrassment to the sport and turn off what few fans we have left.

Presumably Morris was in and rather than give next in line (flint or Allen as their clubs have one representative) they've let Birmingham use bachelor. Be far better with one of the others mentioned imo

My thoughts exactly. I've never been to iwade but sure I've read it's quite a specialist track if not set up then can struggle. Like you said he's a young kid, he's taken quite a few bumps in last month or so. He's not tai woffinden but no one ever thought he would be. He's doing fine and should be left alone to develop. About 3rd or 4th time this has come up this season as if it's ace that's the problem we're looking 3rd/4th team in the league, ridiculous
