Has anyone really been that upset by the signing? The rule absolutely I'm baffled by it as well but don't think anyone "greeting" about it per se. Every team I'm sure would love a rider of tarasenko ability on a 5 in this league. I'm not their biggest fan but think few people looking for Poole fans to be annoyed for some kind of points scoring. It's just the usual money bags Glasgow chat when no-one knows what the deal is costing and as was mentioned his polish commitments are finished it's extra racing for him and money wouldn't otherwise have made. Would've been same if we'd signed boughen but Oxford don't get the same thing. Strange

Didn't Leon get an average riding for Poole? So would need to be smarzlik or dudek instead
-
But will be assessed in the champ as won't have achieved average at point of signing. I think. I mean surely his average isn't going to jump to over 9 before he's ridden a meeting? That would be bonkers
-
Here lies a question. Highly hypothetical but if there is a championship next season and tarasenko wants to ride in it for Glasgow. Will he still be on the 5 as not enough meetings for a real average or if close the loophole will he be on an assessed average based on prem?
-
From what I understand average doesn't kick in until 28th so long as declared before then it's fine
-
Yeah he's ridden 5 for Peterborough so shouldn't really be issue in champ. Good point. 2 really strong pairings that
-
With this signing can we finally get Tom out of the no5 position? Possibly at 2 with bomber? Tarasenko 3 Claus 4 and basso 5?
-
Honestly it's absolutely insane that the assessed averages are same for both leagues. Could Birmingham go and get Laguta on an 8 to replace Morris? It's mad but while it's there of course take advantage. I bet be a few other promoters ringing round the continent as we speak

Given the issues we had with the pole we surely wouldn't announce without approval?

Tarasenko in from 8th September so be r/r. No chance winning on Friday with r/r but what a signing for play offs!! -

I have feeling more to it than the one night thing or be announced. Cami saying still trying to force it over the line in last nights match report. It's very easy when you've got at least 2 members of the board that are play off rivals to see being blocked for their own benefits. Such is the issue with bspl as promoter's put clubs first the sport second. Until that is resolved issued such as this and the blame game will always go on -

I remember when CLRC was the highlight of the season..looked forward to the trip to Sheffield every year. This revised lineup it's almost like why bother.

Poole v Glasgow 23/8/23 Championship
Jaizer replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
In the interests of fairness after previous comments I'll say track was pretty good last night. A few decent heats with and without passing -
No you just insult a rider whose just been cost thousands, much better!!

Is Lee also a doubt or is that a typo in last night's match report about an arm injury? Thought that was ace? -
Once you boil yer heed to make daft soup . It was obvious to anyone with half a brain what had happened... Oh right silly me
-
You think it's funny a rider at bottom of team buys a New engine with money I doubt he could afford that's blown to bits after 3 matches? And because was sorting his 2nd bike forgot the helmet. New levels of low that

Did you even read the match report? He forked out for a new engine resulting in his upturn in form, that was blown to bits in heat one. You've said nothing during his good meetings and now back to this vitriolic crap after one bad match. Give it a by, absolutely pathetic -
Poole v Glasgow 23/8/23 Championship
Jaizer replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Honestly you're as bright as you're mate Steve. Did Glasgow give up? Scored 4 more points than Poole from heat 9 onwards and when had there only heat wins. Do the home no your missing? -
Poole v Glasgow 23/8/23 Championship
Jaizer replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
At that point no Glasgow rider had or looked like beating a Poole HL and Poole already had what 33 points? Would we get bonus? No. Could we win match? No. So wait until on paper the easiest heat. Not like cami but most sensible decision on the night
