  1. Paid 8 Vs Oxford including beating Nichols (albeit off a 15m handicap) was a fantastic effort for a 2 pointer imo. Why wouldn't we be looking at him for next season based on that?
  2. Never had that trouble in either of his spells with us. Outwith danish commitments and injury
  3. Can't say like the idea but I see it happening given rider availability. Claus in there as no.3 maybe might negate the weakness at 5.
  4. Can't be your first experience of shovlar painting Poole as rank outsiders and any win would be against all odds surely?
  5. Interesting to see who we go for as number 2 (assuming bomber stays). I can't see Steve W being back and there isn't a whole lot of HLs around and with Rowe having looked elsewhere doesn't seem many options. Dan T maybe? Vuolas if he fancies Poland and workys Saturdays don't suit?
  6. Good to see Ace winning the u19s today, albeit on count back Best wishes to young Cairns sounds like took a dull yin.
  7. Not embarrassed in the slightest. Speedway existed up until 4/5 years ago without the need for reserve teams from other clubs. Was a thriving NDL on its own right. Btw I have little interest in premiership either, that embarrassing too? The champ imo has always had the most entertaining product until Mr Morris has come along and tried to run it into the ground to try and maintain a premiership that's been on life support for at least a decade. I have knowledge of the NDL and the riders coming through, I just don't find Joe Thompson winning most heats by 3/4 of a lap entertaining and wouldn't pay to watch it. Get it?
  8. Because it's a non starter loss making idea not ground breaking at all for most clubs. Personally have no interest in NDL racing and know many who feel the same.
  9. Is this John Campbell in disguise 🤣
  10. Try filling the 6 blank weeks through the summer with something creative like, I don't know, a fixture! Were several 2/3 week gaps at most clubs too.
  11. Howarth used to be abysmal round ashfield, last couple appearances been double figures though
  12. I would tend to take the opposite view, why rush him back in a dead rubber essentially, let him get fit for the play off final
  13. Hasn't really kicked on in Poland. Think he's approaching 24 so u24 league in Poland soon be unavailable to him. Makes sense would look to Britain now.
  14. His girlfriend is one of Glasgow volunteers I believe I've seen elsewhere
  15. They were separate points. However Phil Morris's role in creating a better premiership has been to severely weaken the championship. That's affected attendances which imo has led to some promoters choosing less meetings as will lose less money. So in a way yes, I'd say he is to blame
  16. Given attendances at youth events and even U21 finals I can't see how NDL would every be a consideration tbh, guaranteed loss maker imo. Prem and champ might be interesting and no doubt draw few more fans of local clubs don't see the big names. But really the champ just has to get it's act together and stop being dictated to by Phil Morris. Sort out a proper fixture list. We might have to accept missing riders more regularly but I'd take that over 6 weeks no fixtures in the summer
  17. Adds 1.5 to his average despite woeful management of him at reserve and not deemed good enough to return. Madness.
  18. By my quick check you have 13 8+ riders in the league, make it 9 potentially next year without picko, B Cook, Tom and schlein. Sorry 10 if add in Steve worrall. If you limit to 1 each you're putting 1 out of work or by making it 2 there's no point as would be same position with some teams having 2 and others not having any.
  19. Thought Friday track might not suit him for the full season. Assume be Poole or Oxford if he does champ next year being midweek tracks. Fought so hard to get away from Sunday's because of Poland, now it's affecting Fridays!
  20. Would Connor be a natural target assuming feels ready to resume his racing?
  21. A basso/ Lawson style switch between ivacic and foord lol. No you're right I struggle to see them letting him go
  22. I'm bit old school and worry about home wins first rather than away averages personally so would gladly have JP back. Yes foord is certainly entertaining on the track would be brilliant if was a possibility. Think he's south coast based though which might be an issue.
  23. Seen bit of discussion on other threads so why not have a dedicated one. For me bomber, Rowe and JP would be back. But from rumours none of them may be. Spencer and hodder did themselves no harm in guest appearances for the reserve slot.
