  1. What a pathetic post. Someone dares to disagree with you about a meeting so you spend all of this one running it down. Harris not entertain you tonight no?
  2. He just doesn't have the ruthlessness of a Dickson, Adams, middlo, rossiter. Like his truck driving days still get impression wants to be riders pals not their boss. Is Lee race fit enough yet for 7 rides. If he rides in 12 would he have scored in 14? I don't know the answer but bonkers decision
  3. Ties still alive but can't help feeling let them off hook. Fair play to Poole 2nd half, top class from bomber again. What idiot said it was a mistake signing him
  4. In reality we probably need about 16 point lead but I'd settle for anything around 10. Going to be tough but let's at least keep it alive for second leg
  5. Another thought are there enough rider to go around if you drop to 36? I'm pretty sure Poole and Glasgow are about 45 so you're dropping 9 points. So you're talking about dropping Lawson/ basso and Rowe/ vissing for 2 2 pointers. Apart from fact how ridiculously weaker the league would be but if we need something like 14 to 18 2 pointers then you're down to NDL reserves!
  6. You can be guaranteed of at least one no.1 if Stewart goes by his usual team building philosophy. Be a big change from this season
  7. Would be a sad way for his career to end. Last 2 seasons excluded he's been a helluva rider, as entertaining as I've ever seen round ashfield
  8. https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/harris-back-underdogs-tigers/ Bombers obviously not buying shovlars rhetoric either
  9. You've a low bar for exciting is all I'll say. But whatever floats your boat
  10. Ah so alway goes well now means had 1 good meeting there that happened to his most recent one. Got you lol. Zach has 2 scores of 6 and 1 of 7 at ashfield. I'd say that's more encouraging than someone who had 1 good meeting. No it's clearly not Zach's favourite track but should be more than capable of scoring well
  11. Last 5 meetings round ashfield 2 0 3 3 8. Wouldn't exact say that's very good form personally...
  12. Oh dear. I see now Lee's form has picked up a bit going to double down on ace. Maybe, just maybe he wants to be part of a possible league winning side and is doing everything to be fit. You know the way you'd be desperate for if it was Ben or bomber. Ace has done more than the job was asked of him this season and using Smith against Poole isn't going to score you more points anyway imo. Theo I think on every fall bar the one against Berwick has gone to the bike first lol. I suppose it's a mental thing at times that he has to distance himself from being his son to thinking of him as would any other rider, take the emotion out it
  13. Was it though? Even Kelvin said the racing wasn't good. Barring 13, 14 & 15 was gate and go. Didn't think that or the wolves meeting previous was a very satisfactory ending to the season being run in terrible conditions. Once again the huge issue with play offs in this country, running most important meetings of the season in October!!
  14. Poole could switch scunny to wednesday for cup final if still want 2nd let at home. Like been said before last thing we want is a 60 off hiding coming back for a damp squib second leg do quite happy for them to do it
  15. Met office saying Monday looks dry, but whether be enough time to dry track out I'm not sure as this will be down to the base I'd guess
  16. Yup, think Noah just went down my street. Best of luck to the track staff!
  17. While I agree I'm pretty sure Sheffield fans don't care right now
  18. Let's hope that's not the only gold medal bomber gets in the next week
  19. 100%, in no way want the 36 as I've said on other threads but let's face it I'm still going to be there every week.
  20. IF the stripes stay champ and IF the 36 rumoured limit is implemented, Lee must be in the discussion for a place on sub 4 average surely?
  21. No to get into a weather argument with you but it's been unseasonably warms 18/19 even in the rain. Because Oxford would've had a set up in mind as were here 2 weeks before. See our first few heats at redcar for example, as Lee said on bsn they set up the same and track was different..result? 10-2 down after 2 heats.
  22. Was dry all day Monday. I work in centre of town was 1 shower about 11ish then sun was out rest of day on Tuesday. Think you must've been asleep. There was clearly a conscious decision (as was mentioned on the bsn commentary) for track and particular starts to be prepared that way. Given its to be pelting down all week will need some work for Sunday
  23. Fair enough The track prep was daft imo. Even bomber was toiling in his first 3 rides and way starts were tarasenko couldn't get out the gate. Once was riding bit more like usual prep we hit 3 5-1s. Having that extra grip the track becomes a bit one line, as can see when wasn't usual passing and again tarasenko preferred inside move wasn't available. Prepare that for Poole Lawson and worrall will lap it up
