Just been messing about with teams as you do this time of year and with a potential bottom four of Jenkins, Atkin, boughen and Killeen would leave enough to have the strongest top 3 in the league imo. Could be masters Nichols and a 6.00 or Pickering, Nichols and flint for example. You have Jenkins improving all the time and probably the best 2 pointers in the league. Before a riders been signed calling Oxford the team to beat

My opinion on that is that div1 has become so weak that div2 HLs who would've been 2nd strings or reserves in the past have become div 1 HLs. The issue is the weakening of the prem for which again the championship fans are being punished

I don't understand the "stronger sides" argument. Everyone builds to the same average. In theory the teams should all at least be competitive. Reducing the limit won't even the playing field. The "better" clubs will still attract the more attractively averaged riders and still be ones to beat

I don't see what Ford's problem is here? Surely giving fans a chance to say thank you to a guy who led you to every trophy available until end of this season it should be made public? Was obvious one of Richard or Stevie were going and the anointed one has had a better year. Won't it potentially add more fans to the gate too in what is otherwise an end of season challenge match? Sure Steve no had a vintage season, but that happens to everyone who has a testimonial year in my experience.

Gilkes definitely one I'd be thinking of. Had never seen the place prior to u21 final and he was excellent that day. Seems to get his fair share of injuries though

I guess it's where you draw line. Ace is still an NDL level rider with I think about a sub 6 average. He has done well to add over point in the champ. Whereas you'll have boughen, Perry, Killeen, hodder, mcgurk who have higher ndl averages than ace but will come in on 2s. Whatever the decision imo ace has to class as the NDL/ RS or however going to word it

Not Leon's favourite track, as I think he'd admit. When consider he was about 2 points higher average than anyone else in the u21 final and he didn't make top 6. But that's how you improve by conquering these things and it's not a signing I'd be against if the Redcar rumour proves unfounded

Yeah I'd think be looking at around a 7 pointer at no.5 to give a semblance of top end strength leaving someone like bailey as your 3rd HL. Borke possibly on a 4 at no.2? Leaving a 5.00/ 5.5 to complete? Really is going to look like a much different league next season.

Not unexpected news. Tarasenko was never going to be allowed to do a full season in champ by his polish club. won't take risk on Marcin again given what happened this season. Ben deserves to give Poland a real go without rushing around for flights after Friday meetings. Claus is pushing 40 and coming back from injury. As others have said hopefully means have bomber Lee and ace as a base to build from.
