  1. Edinburgh ran you closer at wimbourne road as I remember? And I would say are a fair bit stronger and on better form now. As Glasgow fan I'd prefer Leicester tbh but definitely think going to be Edinburgh
  2. Supposedly need 2 RS adding up to 4*s next season but tbh I don't think the riders are available to make that feasible
  3. As I remember they chose to face Leicester for financial reasons. And promotion continually stated losing money every home meeting. So how is losing a meeting where people on here was a very low attendance would have made things worse for them?
  4. Think our promotion to be applauded for this. Only time out with SON going to see potentially woffy, Lambert, bartosz, magic, dudek. Honestly rather go to this than play offs, can't wait to see teams
  5. Yup. IMO only way Birmingham should've been granted late change of fixture was on proviso forfeited cup fixture.
  6. I do wonder if Glasgow will continue with it next season. And if they do if maybe been using QTV this season so know what's required to go solo next season. As you say with every penny of the 12quid going to Edinburgh for their stream but a fair bit less for ours must be looking to make more from it
  7. Given long distance forecast looks favourable I'd be going for a double header should Edinburgh come through/ weather permit on Friday night. No many chances of dry days in October in Scotland!!
  8. I have a suspicion re rising start that might be extended to 5*. And maybe each CH team has to have 2 who can add up to no more than say 7. So maybe flint and Brennan for example become 5* and if wish to have them as such have to use a Crang or a Blair as other reserve? It's just a theory but think would encourage teams to use British riders as on potentially lower averages and doesn't make sense for riders to only be in RS system for only 1 year. Josh bates excluded!!!!
  9. Cause running r/r. If lose another rider can end up with 3 rider races
  10. I can't understand in July for example if get a rain of don't just arrange for later that week instead of September and October. Happens every single year, absolute madness
  11. I think Glasgow Edinburgh is a certainty and as was muted before couple double headers to relieve the fixture congestion if nothing else
  12. Good effort by the moanarchs, kemp the difference maker. Didn't see that coming but fair play cracking score
  13. Remember there was supposed to be more fixtures than 1 home 1 away. I believe they were to fit in 2 home and away in a north/ south split which u assume in some way will be reinstated next season as 13 guaranteed home fixtures not enough
  14. Likewise we do Edinburgh if there is even a free fixture for it to happen..also just had Leicester last week. Just what happens in the mad rush that is the championship end of season
  15. Logistically makes sense for 2 most southern teams and 2 northerns teams to face each other. Financially I'm sure the same as likely to attract more away fans. Chances getting many Edinburgh fans on a hastily arranged midweek October fixture pretty slim
  16. Yeah we've ridden every night I think since facenna's taken over in the annual panic to get fixtures completed
  17. Tbh there's no reason Glasgow and I assume Leicester can't ride any night now as should have unlimited access and don't think any other countries are daft enough to be attempting seasons most important meetings in October!!!
  18. SON will be an issue for both Edinburgh and Glasgow. I assume we won't be able to run on the Friday or Saturday when it's on?
  19. As a theory maybe they are trying to hide the averages as hope to keep riders as rising stars for more than one season and if we knew flint and Palin's true averages we'd be apoplectic with rage if took up 3/4 points in team building for next season?
