That all depends on who they class as rising stars next season. Will Palin, Leon, Dan T etc still be to their development? How expect anyone to step up from that farce of a national League into championship is ridiculous
-
I'm sorry but if that's going to be the level of next season's championship then they're will be even more tracks closing. That is not attractive at all. As been said before the solution isn't to weaken the second league so the top one looks stronger. People will vote with their feet

Yes I know...my point was that Poole were given a visa despite being 8th/9th in his national championship

I'd take a chance there will be the carrot if a team place for a good performance offered. Fits profile we've been looking for last few years -
Suppose would need to question that Poole got a visa for the Czech that never appeared who was 8th or 9th in Czech championship. Maybe different for Europeans?

Absolutely, I mean if I was in reverse situation I'd be calling foul but guess must be some kind of paperwork required to get a guest. Be shocked if heeps didn't get double figures from reserve -

I'd have thought we'd be in the 75% guest category again if no speedway related reason, but I'll take heeps all day ha -

Thought I saw on the news at the stadium I will not name for fear of bursting into flames they were only challenging in crowds over 10k at the moment -
Yes in my mind they are. Were significantly better over 2 days and for example could to lose it due to an engine failure at the gate. That's highly unfair IMO I understand the concept, but do the top 6 in the gp go into a head to head over who is world champ? Do mercedes and red bull have a race off in F1 to see whose world champions? It's an Americanism which may work in some instances but in Motorsport is something I wholeheartedly disagree with.
-
Take that up with Dick it's his point, I'm just pointing out the contradiction in his point. As I said before, I'd follow rugby league format. They have a league leaders shield gets awarded then the play offs have a grand final.
-
You've just contradicted your own point. "Soccer" play offs in football league are for clubs 3rd to 6th!! You know what the team that win the league are called.... Champions!!!
-
Don't disagree with you. How the team finishing 6th can potentially call themselves champions is a lot of nonsense. By all means have post season play offs for say young shield or craven trophy or whatever they want but top of the league are champions. Rugby league would be the example to follow on this front

The only stickler is the grand monarch himself James McGregor -
Probably wrong but don't they need to have been top 4 of a state or national final for Aussies?
