Berwick v Glasgow , BSN thingy , 6/4/24 @7pm

Wasn't a signing I was excited by and the early signs haven't changed my opinion. A maximum at the dump might turn that round though -

It was non-negative actually -

As I recall same score as first meeting of 2023. If you believe in omens that is -

Would probably have taken that with full 1-7. Some positives from 2nd strings and bomber, 6 points from your number 2 no good enough though -

Doing well to keep it level in the circumstances. Heats 8-10 look to favour bandits though -

Ridiculous after last season. No sympathy and leave club in a nightmare situation looking for a replacement -

I'm racking my brain for another reason why the referee would deem a rider ineligible whose been accepted by bspl in the 1-7. If was his bikes he'd ride someone else's surely? I really hope it's not -

Really hope this isn't a worrall/ boxall/ Morris situation here. Striking similarities in the lack of information prior the the meeting -
5.4.2024 - BSN Series - Scunny v Redcar
Jaizer replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Considering the rain thought the track was pretty decent. At Glasgow we had a dip going into 3rd bend for years, the brave used it the less brave avoided it. As roo boy (Do we still call him that?) said about Charles Wright he had to commit to it to get the advantage of it. Riders that came down other than howarth looked tentative and got bit by it. -

Does that mean no free parking -
Yeah his form.picked up when he had no pressure riding at no.2 with bomber. Go back and look at the skelpings we took at Poole previously and Oxford and Redcar in the KO cup when riding at 5. Nothing against the lad was a good signing but assumption was he'd be similar progression as basso, and he just wasn't. As discussed the move away will no doubt do him good without the weekend rush to Poland every Friday night/ Saturday morning. Best of luck to him

You must've missed the 16 year old riding for the league champions

Ace was also a bullet if going to go there. But I wouldn't be too confident in us winning anywhere this season. Brother Steve's early season form for Birmingham not been good either. I'd bite your hand off for 4th if was offered!

Berwick VS Workington - Border Trophy - 30/03
Jaizer replied to BackstaightBandit's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Berwick can be as alien to a new rider as armadale is, remember nowak and Sam Jensen struggling badly on their first meetings there but improved drastically on next appearance. You'd think if cookie hadn't pulled out would've been nearer the 52-38. Hopefully just a precaution and he's fit for the competitive stuff -

Poole Pirates Vs Oxford Cheetahs BSN Good Friday
Jaizer replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
That 2, 3 & 4 for Oxford didn't look strong to me this season, could be a few of those away from home especially if masters doesn't show up either. For Poole good to see Tom starting well, always thought hagon be one of the leagues better reserves. Looks pretty ominous for the rest of us! -
Didn't wolves get the 75% guest facility for Becker, and James wright at Birmingham too? Didn't he get injured in a testimonial at Plymouth before had ridden for Brummies? Don't know why Plymouth wouldn't at worst get that facility

While I agree with your premise, I can't imagine we said to Harris you'll need to take a 5% pay cut because the leagues point limit gone down 5%. Ditto Poole with cook and Lawson, Edinburgh to Pickering etc. so a 50-40 win will cost them the same if not more this season than last. Should the promoters have cut their cloth accordingly.. probably but we all know they won't. Throw in the costs to run will have gone up with electricity and gas as a start then I'm not shocked that prices will rise. -
Unless you mean Mark or Gerd then Riss doesn't fit
-
Nothing we'll ever have to worry about, always did get a sudden bout of illness when he got north of the M6!
-
I just wonder what makes more business sense now. A weaker team on Saturday nights or Tuesday nights with one of the named riders at no.1? Seems whatever Plymouth do goes against them
-
Can't imagine Saturday nights would suit his schedule

Say it every year but wish would ditch the cartoon tiger bring back the previous version.

Home in a challenge against Stoke maybe too?
