  1. Discussed on Glasgow thread, either 9.93 or 10.5ish I think it was
  2. The riders of sufficient quality aren't available to continue it this season. Most championship clubs already had a RS signed last season prior to the ruling. With flint, kemp, Hume, bailey, the Thompson's, Palin, Jenkins, bowtel all having ridden above the 3.5 average cut off for a 3* there was simply no way of keeping it place in that format. As usual the bspl had no thought of what would happen should these riders perform above expectations. You'd be looking at a championship where all reserves would only be able to take points off each other as not ready for the step up against established championship riders
  3. Having released Kennedy I'd probably say they're looking at neither. I'd think Mr Dickson will be trying to keep the Thompson's at reserve to start the season anyway. Most likely see a 6ish and a 5ish or couple 5.5s IMO
  4. Who from this year's NDL who didn't have a champ place is even close to being able to step up? I can't think of any hence why I think ending RS program, creating a much stronger NDL will give those riders a more competitive environment to bridge the gap. Then this time next year maybe Freeman, Beebee, hagon, Kelly, the mcgurks might be in a position to make the step up
  5. Don't really agree, the league is pretty much same strength as last season and the championship has never had issue giving young Brits a chance. Continuing with it in premiership makes sense as that's where opportunities were fewer
  6. Think he's decided he looks better in stripes
  7. Yeah Connor has a British parent I believe and the family have emigrated back to the UK. Think he'll have to get a British licence though. Many examples of it, nick Morris, Rob branford, Matty wethers, Christian Henry
  8. Ricky was infuriating this season for us, did seem to be finding his form towards end of the season so could just have taken him a while to get used to season out new tyres etc. On more of a gaters track I'd think it's a good signing and should improve his average for the bandits
  9. he was behind aarnio when he crashed in 3rd place in what was his only ride
  10. Garry may hasn't made another arithmetic error has he lol
  11. If god (SL) is dealing with the track it will no doubt be a beauty
  12. Yup totally agree, should be 9.5 anyway next season if has everything sorted. Get him some consistent support be a different rider imo
  13. Didn't his tweet after the final sound like a bit of a goodbye to you? Could be wrong but sounded a bit that way to me
  14. Not jealous at all!!! Enjoy, make sure do everything I would
  15. Think we'll get some team news at the crump event seen as the end of season bash was cancelled then? Or will they drip feed us something before it?
  16. His Eastbourne results from 2021 will be removed I believe
  17. If opening a new track need couple big names to entice people back who've maybe found other things to do with their time since last had speedway. Similar to crump and bjarne at Plymouth last season and Nichols himself at Kent
  18. Didn't a certain Mr stancl settle down in the north east after retirement? He'd be a steal on a 3 lol
  19. Fraser Bowes and Connor at reserve? That just my nostalgia talking?
  20. Crump? That's a left field shout!! Young Connor will be a certainty too, if can get him an NL place there's 1, 1.5 point increase in him next season
  21. It's fine, it will no doubt be in mid summer during the inexplicable british speedway break in fixtures during school holidays while the weather is at least half way decent
  22. GP challenge confirmed for Glasgow 2022. Absolutely brilliant news and more confirmation of the good work being done at the club. Can't wait
