  1. Was born on isle of man, I know. But was brought through with Edinburgh with a thick Scottish accent so thought I'd include him
  2. Lol just a wee bit before Lawson Tully and Stoddard. Remember there were 3 meetings Scotland Vs England U21s at our 3 tracks. Nichols and Richardson were in England team. We couldn't even scare up 7 riders now let alone be competitive lol
  3. Yeah think he retired before end of the season. Didn't they run r/r for him at armadale?
  4. Didn't really get much further than NDL did he? Looked like might at one time, shame retired now.
  5. Wow, just wow. All I've got to say to that
  6. You have to assume the promoters have them so why not just publish them? Mr Barrie seems to be in the know about these things makes it even more probable
  7. Aye politics of it all would make it difficult. One thing that hasn't happened under the facenna ownership was promise of a training track. Shocking the lack of Scottish riders around nowadays. Lawson, Tully and Stoddard last of any decent level came through
  8. Saturday afternoons mostly? Occasionally Fridays. Another point on my idea if a joint venture, could be any day/ night at ashfield
  9. From memory Barker was better at ashfield with Newcastle this season than in his 2 guest appearances. Passed cookie as I remember
  10. We all are. As I said not being critical, it's a team will do well at home which will keep fans happy and coming through the turnstiles which is what's important
  11. Sorry when was I critical? I put forward an opinion based on my observations, followed by its an improvement on 2021. Isn't that what everyone does this time of year?
  12. Yeah no doubt. Makes a lot of sense from Edinburgh's perspective, plus doubt want to give Glasgow advantage of having Connor there. Why not split the home fixtures, call it the Scottish saltires or something. For example have Connor and Edwards (if goes back) as 1 and 5 then build kids/ inexperienced guys around it. Yeah difference in Millar brothers in particular from start of season was night and day
  13. Yeah won't drop many points at home agree with that
  14. Struggle to make play offs that team imo. Might be good at home but see very few points away from home. Kennet on inflated average if look at 2021 form, Andersen didn't look like a no.1 in championship to me, and a long tail away from home. Should improve on 2021 though so all can ask from any team is progress.
  15. No 1 for the dale devils? Think that should be a joint venture personally, would benefit both clubs if could bring through some some local riders.
  16. Sure I read Tom lives in Midlands so not as much travelling as I'd thought initially, think Connor and his family pretty settled in Glasgow. Probably needs a year of championship and NDL in 2022 then can look for a RS place in premiership
  17. Seems to be universal that. Ellis be great for you, can't see it though with signing in polish league
  18. His points aren't reflective of performance at Glasgow. Also Edinburgh had much weaker bottom end, easier to score points against last season
  19. Might depending on Tom's average. I worked it out about 5.9 minus Eastbourne but could be way off. I'd heard broc was off elsewhere but I'd be happy to have him back
  20. Poole not retaining him? Has done pretty well at ashfield but prefer basso if you're offering
  21. Season watching Harris be good for Sam I reckon. Usually bit of grip at shielfield, what Sam needs
  22. What's the people in the know thinking. Just one signing getting announced on Saturday? A couple? The team? I'd be shocked if team wasn't already in place just how they're being announced
  23. Barker is one of those every season you think is on a "false average". We tried him one year lasted couple months. He's just a 7 point rider nowadays
