Not sure he'd ever come back but what about Lee complin? Always an all out entertainer anytime I seen him.
-
Lawson is owned by Glasgow. Hence my point. What did you get for chuck Wright? An established heat leader 8k was it? And you want 50k for a reserve? In balance of the Wright deal 5k be closer to the mark
-
Been on the cards since they started building all round the stadium. Surprised taken so long tbh
-
75k for Lawson then
-
Points been made earlier, if you want to use Lawson then defeats purpose to try n mess around Glasgow owners.
-
And have you put this on the Peterborough thread? Seen as how they signed him first n that he's more likely to have a future there? Sigh
-
No, but as the plrc was held at a more northern track wasn't an issue. Holding all the championship events at the southern tracks is where my issue with the decisions are. Nothing against Poole or Oxford personally just a fact that you're not going to have a mix of fans which is what usually makes these events as enjoyable
-
4s has been successfully held at Peterborough for years when most often not been in the championship
-
Take the chip off your shoulder I've already said about it being Oxford for pairs isn't fair on northern fans either, be same if was Plymouth, or Ipswich, Peterborough, kings Lynn for that matter
-
Think only 1 year I had complaint about Sheffield when was set up for stead and Compton, far too heavy. Other than that was always good imo

25 years next year 2022

Shane was poetry on a bike. Absolute legend -
It's the reason why we have held test matches last 2 seasons and assume look to hold one next season too. Pairs might be ok as night before Cardiff and Somerset was always well attended. As a stand alone meeting, obviously be well attended by home fans but not the only thought in these decisions. Of course we don't know who else volunteered to hold it if anyone so there's that as well
-
You realise our owners are bankrolling team GB yeah?
-
We got pairs taken off us cause wasn't suitable for all clubs crowds not what expected. Ah hadn't seen that part. But with both champ finals being Poole and Oxford bit harsh in the majority of fans
-
Pretty rotten for fans of northern clubs, hardly be more southern!! Always felt these things should be held at neutral venues personally. Sheffield was ideal, pretty central for most clubs and guaranteed good racetrack
-
5.50 I believe
-
Looks a good side on paper. Should be top 3 looking at teams already announced and rumours of those that haven't. Berwick look good dependant on final signing, Poole no doubt be up there, Oxford too. Plymouth, Leicester, Edinburgh be in around play off picture. Can't wait to April!!
-
Happy to see Ulrich getting another season, long as he's on good equipment hopeful can get close to form he was in
-
Totally agree with you on both points. Just not sure he's a rider likely to be on our radar. If choice between Steve or cookie I'd have Craig all day
-
Steve doesn't go Glasgow that well, not on attractive average either. I'd be very shocked if Steve ended up in Glasgow at any point in his career tbh
-
I'd assume be broc/ 2nd string and the heat leaders be left to the last 2 announcements

SGB Championship 2022 Confirmed Signings
Jaizer replied to bloom89's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If that is remaining 3 riders then between them really just need to maintain their averages with potential in rest of the team. A fully motivated and focused Craig Cook can put a point on his average -

Cook, ostergaard and Nicol, looks pretty obvious now -
They wear red and white stripes. That's the clue
-
He's been riding abroad. When we signed Ekberg hadn't ridden in Britain for 10 years was still same average as was riding in Sweden. Would be no recourse for reduction just cause not riding here
