Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't there more fixtures pre pandemic? Didn't we race everyone home and away in league and then the 5 most northern clubs were home and away twice? Wouldn't have minded seeing a challenge fixture before first league match too (not the Spring trophy!!!)

Maybe should've added was your opinion on your original post Some riders have rapport with a support, at reserve instead of 3 & 4 they may see bit of improvement. Just my opinion but think Hume got more improvement as last season was what only his 2nd or 3rd full season as keeps getting left on the heap. Shanes and Morris been around for years but always float around same average

Correct, so explain how they're "far better". Talk me through their away form comparison then? And why no other club wanted them in place of any of the other riders previously mentioned? And please don't say they were waiting to see what happened with Birmingham first

Correct. Morris had 1 good season few years ago but has gone backwards since, Shanes not a rider I've ever been impressed by and like you say is in the Josh bates mould

Always found Richard a good guy in his Glasgow days, still well thought of by majority of our supporters. Being the son of God might help that. He's just not the most entertaining rider, win a lot of races but not the best from the back

Last I heard about Claus he wouldn't come over unless had place in both leagues. That may have changed but sure that's why never came over last season

In comparison to his contemporaries he's a fair bit behind imo. Leon, Brennan, Palin even Dan T much more impressive than kemp that I've seen. Maybe he's just a slower burner who knows

Decent showing from your new man in Darcy ward invitational this morning. 5 points in that field pretty respectable, 1 fewer than Masters, same as zaine Kennedy and point more than kelleher. Thomson 7, Pickering 8 too

Should add 5% at least motivation to the riders having someone with that as your TM. I know in my team I sometimes feel we're losing about 10%! Lol Don't get the obsession on here with "rumours" of what other teams pay their riders. It's up to them and must be based on some sort of business plan. If and when that proves wrong then criticise but before that hardly see the merit in it. Also, as I understand it's the stadium owner whose running things, so no rent. So will have more available to pay riders than those who have rents to pay.
