  1. Does it? Then explain Chris Harris getting 5 in the champ and 11 in prem. You know since it's so much stronger
  2. Wasn't having a go at all as others on that forum have. The racing is generally far better when ashfield is on the slick side only meaning the weather conditions are such that water will be dried up very quickly today
  3. Hope getting plenty water into the track.. both dry and windy today could lead to a dust bowl
  4. I don't know the area but assume there must be an ambulance in fairly close proximity being it's a city track? At Glasgow the track ambulance has taken an injured rider to the hospital and came back on several occasions in the past
  5. Sedgy was pretty average last season, in fact verging on poor actually. Best meeting was day told he was sacked
  6. Well done pirates. Oxford badly let down by Nichols this evening. I know it's only 2 meetings in but bit of track prep improvement required, dust bowl for 4 heats then watering the inside not the wisest move. Nice to see another big crowd
  7. Not a track we usually go well on, bite your hand off for a point
  8. My views on Leicester were they swapped Douglas, Andersen and Kennedy for Richie, mountain and Rowe. Imo a weaker side that finished last season and that team were soundly beaten in play offs. Did make me wonder why so many people's favourites for league. I think they're on a par with teams like Plymouth, will win most/ all at home but struggle a bit away
  9. Trust me, Stewart isn't against making changes for the sake of it..saw it at Glasgow many times!! But yeah I mean what could you change? A heat leader and Rowe for what sedgeman and Sam Jensen or something? Is that any stronger?
  10. I think been built to the same method as Poole. Really need top 3 firing every match and bottom 4 to score their average away to get a result. If the top 3 don't fire what happened this week is the outcome
  11. Twins and Rowe surely did what was expected tonight? Top 4 that let you down IMO
  12. No argument here. Don't get me wrong was 2/3 good races, cookies now obligatory last to first, ulle and stormy had good battle. But let's face it a competitive match is what would keep people's interest
  13. Yeah true. Richie surprising me, so good round armadale. Your top 3 be competitive everywhere I'd imagine. Looking forward to tomorrow, battles between the top boys should be good
  14. Pretty poor away from Leicester again tonight. Seems to have been way with lots of meetings this season, teams seem set up for big home wins. Can't think of many competitive meetings so far in the champ
  15. Yeah what from afar says, say it wasn't cost effective using QTV again n don't think could get the people or infrastructure in place to do it in house. Quite disappointed myself, seems backwards step when more and more clubs offering it
  16. Absolutely one I'm really looking forward to. And rarely for Glasgow in April that weather even seems set fair
  17. Think be reliant on Harris (no doubt be much better than when he rode for us) Wells and Leon. Ty, Theo, Kyle and particularly jye not been great at ashfield of late. Although he wasn't helped by being brought in as guest for ulle against the enemy. Only takes one of them to have a good day and we'll have a battle
  18. 1997 was last year ran with 6 riders. 12 programmed heats and 3 nominated as I remember
  19. Aye qualifying for sgp2 is fast and loose. Made a mess of that one haven't you. Suppose Tom Brennan was playing fast and loose when was winning world cup too eh?
  20. Looking forward to this one, got ingredients for an entertaining night. Think our engine room should be the difference I'll go with 51-39.
  21. Not sure on the averages but be interesting if castagna was available and fit the average!!!
  22. Correct me if I'm wrong can't they use 2 guests as it's the top 3 in averages? Being concussion I assume definitely out as think there's a set period have to sit out.
  23. Yeah was what I was thinking Newcastle if unable to apply themselves get a premier team or a Poole/ Glasgow take the asset responsibility. Obviously not ideal but might be only alternative? Were the Czechs in 2020 side signed before Brexit rules came into place?
