He was replaced mid season because he was rotten. Simple as that..maybe go read my previous posts about Barker and when he has point to prove. Save you going over old ground again . All conjecture, seen no evidence of it

Really? Cause was paid promptly with us and was absolutely rotten lol. Barker's the kind of character performs when thinks got something to prove IMO

He could just be a dickie juul/ Henning banger type? Capable of very similar averages in both leagues without ever really being true heat leader potential. Doesn't help you out with top end strength currently though

Out of interest how did BWD get that average? My memories of him in previous championship spell was strong 2nd string/ 3rd heat leader level. Is it a converted average from the prem?

Yes that's been my hope that it's just been strong home sides against the poorer sides in the league

Yeah 100% agree on Ellis, proof of that was heat gated on a 5-1 didn't want to mix it. All I'm saying is he didn't ride 13 or most 15s which might have inflated average slightly. Claus will come good and be 7.5/ 8 rider once gets dialled in again

The only caveat I'd throw in is that average was obtained riding at 3/4 in 2019 as cookie and rasser rode majority of season at 1 and 5. Different ballgame at no. 1

Bandits looked very good. I worry about Birmingham, long hard season. Entertainment value actually pretty decent, certainly been at far worse at Berwick lol

Is it a bit concerning that we've not had a competitive meeting at championship level yet? Looks like every home side hitting 60 so far. Are the away sides just some of the weakest or is this a sign of what's to come?

Yeah been my opinion all pre-season. He's 5 pointer with a 7.5 average inflated due to his previous home average

100% with you on that one. Races not starting to 7.45 or even later when everyone can see the weather closing in is my biggest peeve with it these days
