Newcastle vs Glasgow 8/5/22 4pm??
Jaizer replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I'm sure people on this forum know my feelings towards my TM so I've no doubt that's exactly right. And his comments about 1 pass does go against the updates -

Not being there I can't comment too much but as been said before, if referee and Newcastle were happy with the track then it wouldn't have been called off -

I know it's volunteers etc etc but when there's been 2 people on here from opposing sides saying it was total BS then you have to ask questions as to what the agenda was by putting that out there -

Telling you god himself could be making a killing resolving all these tracks if wasn't busy at Northside. Never known a season with so many track complaints -

Had already taken 2 hours to get that far. Don't know if Newcastle have a curfew or was seamed beyond repair. Maybe grants preparing it how he liked it as a rider as that's only way he'd beat anyone. I'm interested to see what those were there thought. Notice very quiet from Newcastle fans, that surprises me -

Once got so far in obviously wanted a result to be called so didn't need to come back!!! But complaints definitely made before. Lost one rider and 2 others in fairly dangerous sounding accidents why would you want the last 5 heats? -

Correct me if I'm wrong didn't it used to be the losing team that could request an abandonment? Unless the referee has decided? -

Can't be coincidence second Newcastle home meeting in a row is bad tempered affair. And whatever happened to 2 wrongs don't make a Wright Lisa? -

Significantly strengthens the diamonds, Starkey going well too. Got stung by last season at brough taking nothing for granted but be disappointed after pumping Edinburgh at the dump if we can't take the win -

God was never the track man, he resolved the issue with the 3rd bend dip -
Birmingham v Scunthorpe 4/5/22

There was absolutely nothing sneering about the comment just pointing out a fact in speedway as in life money talks. We brought in rusty Harrison on a 9.00 average, got his new average of about 4.5 and guess what? Off he went to Workington for more money. -
Newcastle vs Berwick SGB Championship 1 May 4pm
Jaizer replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sarj average surely too high? 4.27 according to speedway stats. Even if you're allowed the 5% for Congreve it's up to 4.2 -
Tom and Benjamin on 8 points after 4 rides in their SGP2 qualifiers, probably going to need a win in their last heat to qualify. Steven goret beating Benjamin big surprise on what we saw last season!! Edit: Tom finished on 10, Ben on 11 neither qualified automatically

Berwick meeting was as good as anything I've seen at ashfield. Even Newcastle had some good moments. Last 2 weeks not been fantastic, but Sunday afternoon always difficult to prepare for and think had to do fair bit of track works after the rain this week, leaving it slicker than usual when sun came out. -
Surely Newcastle fans prefer to watch their team getting pumped live at the speedway than the football on the telly

Which makes it all the more galling. In twice seen him this season he's passed more riders than he did in a full season he was with us. Kept sub par equipment here, flew in rode a few seconds and thirds and flew out. Then all you hear on TV is how he never gives less than 100% no matter what he rides for. Was most definitely not the case for us And what was worse is allied vehicles went out their way to provide him with significant sponsorship while was in GPs and even afterwards before he signed. And that was how they were repaid? -

I don't think he needs any extra motivation in that circumstance. No love lost I believe. Hope Berwick fans don't see the average manipulation we witnessed to make sure he was available to guest for those with long term injuries -

Swings and roundabouts really. Harris probably got double what Kennett would, Edwards definitely far more than Atkins but ruml nowhere near Gilkes. Score probably about right in the end -
