Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025
Jaizer replied to emilali's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Aren't you just the voice of reason this country needs 🙄. You have an issue with Craig, that's up to you he's marmite always has been. But to come on preaching how holier than though you are because you'd never get dragged in..you have no idea if you would or not. You may think you won't but it can come to anyone. There's being outspoken and there's being a banger, in this occasion you would be the latter -

Of course. I come from a deprived area in west of Scotland where it's rife. I feel for anyone with any kind of addiction having gone through gambling in the past myself. Is that one ok though because doesn't involve any substance? -

Alcoholism is a mental illness. You should probably have checked that before this post -
Championship Pairs April 5th 3pm (Workington)

Decent meeting considering the conditions. Shame it ended in a dead rubber but looked the correct decision. Out of interest did we have choice of gates in semi and took 1 and 3 when 2 and 4 had looked better most of the meeting? Good to see brother Steve mixing it after missing so much of last season -
6 points from the reserves, 5 more than most were predicting and key to the win! Max was pretty consistent and Freddy's last ride was really good. Dan T is absolutely flying and could be a genuine threat to bomber at number 1 if maintains this form.

And to think the abuse Marcin got for going to his stag do to get out of riding armadale, oskar seen the place once and trying to get ways out of riding it 🤣.

Because they will want to win the meeting particularly at home against their biggest rivals who have had the Indian sign over them last few years. Pretty straightforward really. Also, what's point in having a strong reserve and not using him 🤷🏼♂️

I see monarchs website has Victor at reserve, I'd thought they'd be made have grahn at reserve as victor had a higher average on his last UK spell. That's a game changer as I'd expect him to be taking 7 rides. Will Grahn or polis beat any of the stripes top 5? That will decide the match imo. Still fancy a tigers win but much tighter

Jonah started well. Think we won pretty easy at hull start of the season and they went on to win the league unless I'm mixed up. Was a big kick up with carillo we got him on a 3 I think, not sure he even maintained that. Anyway, I this side has more potential than that one imo

Yeah had forgotten about Eric. What an enigma he was.

As I recall Bentley and Greaves spent most of their time blocking each other and the TM (later named the speedway mourinho) never split them up as a pairing

Ashton withdrawn at Lynn after crash in his first apparently caused by a chain according to the updates site. Hopefully nothing serious

The make up of the side is very similar to the early 00s when the top 5 was Shane, Geo Stancl, greavesy, banga Bentley and a coming out of retirement Graeme Jones. The average age was pushing 40 by that point and unlikely to see any improvement. Dan T, Leon and boughen should be open to improvement, as I believe howarth is without the pressure of being no.1. The reserves back then were a couple journeymen in Corey Blackman and Barry Campbell, again unlikely to improve. Perry and in particular hodder should improve, especially with bomber mentoring them. It's only 1 meeting but his match against Oxford was very promising. And if either isn't scoring then you do what Poole did and give best performing NDL rider a chance.

Looking forward to seeing Dan in the stripes. Small sample size but looks like taken another step forward and his racing at BV looked like he'll be entertaining to watch round ashfield

League Riders Championship 6th April 3pm (Scunthorpe)
Jaizer replied to bez's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Have to admit find it very weird. Howarth and Dan T haven't turned a wheel for us but represent us in the plrc, doesn't feel right tbh -
There was an individual after the team event I believe

Wasn't the opening Edinburgh derby trophy traditionally the spring trophy, cleverly in the shape of a spring? It's an extra meeting either way so all good

Really? You want to go back and have a look at some of the Aussie laden Glasgow teams of the early 00s 🤣 -
SGB Championship - 2025 Predictions

Well yes I assumes that was implied. Grahn and VP will probably even out at first averages so if have cab replace James with a 4/5 pointer then could be a decent side. -
SGB Championship - 2025 Predictions
Jaizer replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Redcar and Glasgow best looking sides imo, Poole will make changes even if cairns isn't sufficient so will make play offs. Berwick and Workington will depend on their no.1's moods, Edinburgh too many questions be fighting wooden spoon unless polis drops 2 points and can strengthen when gets his 4 points. Scunny don't look very strong to me but will win most home meetings, Plymouth also be dependent how their number 1 goes. Oxford current 1-7 doesn't make play offs imo, depends what changes can make to accommodate Nichols. So quite a few unanswered questions makes predictions difficult at this stage!! -
Yeah I'm just likening him to nowak tbh, who might actually have been slightly higher caliber when we signed him. Maybe he can get some lessons from burza, only eastern European I can remember mastering the place

4 meetings for polis and 16 for basso, not really representative is it?
