I think Willie walker is at the wind up. But wolbert must been out of UK as long as Victor roughly? Thought rode polish 2nd division last year but not clued up on what average in that league qualifies as a 6
Was it Tai and auty at rye house when they turned 16 tore up the league from reserve finished on 7 plus averages? Or was it Kennett? Anyway I don't see him having the same type of immediate success but be glad if I was wrong. Nothing better seeing a kid hit ground running like that
I'd counter that with he's not likely to get extra rides as he would with a lower team. Probably get a maximum 5 rides per meeting whereas might get 7 most meetings elsewhere. Anyway it seems Poole's season seems to be resting on a 15 year old. Was very impressive at ashfield in the youth meeting and I'm sure be a success. But I don't see him coming in and scoring double figures immediately personally
You've made an assumption on why people have that opinion on someone without a single clue what their opinion is based on. Yes no doubt he improved, in a weaker ndl imo. Like I said happy to eat humble pie if I'm wrong but please don't judge what my opinion is based on when you don't have a clue
Bit if an arrogant post making assumptions on other people and how often seen him. Seen him plenty as I'm sure have many others. I'm happy to be proven wrong and if he goes on to be the best 2 pointer around best of luck to him. But I wouldn't have wanted him in my team
Be good to see kildemand in the champ again, exciting rider to watch. Credit the Berwick promotion, could've easily settled for a middling team with whose left but went out and got what should be a very good replacement. I'll say nothing of dayle wood
If you make more than one change now the combined has to go back to the starting figure for team building. Not sure if like last year that'll increase through the season but it's not as simple as being less than the riders they're replacing now. If was 1 change then that's the case but not for any more than 1
Edinburgh won the champ convincingly a few years back with masters, cook, sedgy side with some pretty duff reserves. Clegg and Aaron fox I think it was averaged just over 3. So there is a precedent
Good to see ace signed up. Got a bit about him it could calm it down a bit. Looked a fair bit more composed at the u19s. Good side that, looking forward to their visits next year
You and Bobby always good for a laugh with your "we know what money they're on" chat.
In fairness only 1 fan getting carried away. As most of the Glasgow thread will say, happy with the side, better than last season but an obvious potential weakness. Howarth I'd think only 1 I'd disagree with, without the burden of number 1 expect to see bit of improvement. As with Leicester when was a strong top 3 his best season of recent times
That was when our season finished pretty much. Think he'd made the decision before finished up with us. Maybe wasn't enjoying the travelling who knows. Shame reckon he'll be near an 8 by end of season
I assume Rowe was pencilled in there but changed his mind and went to Poole. Leon was de facto no.2 for most of last season. Bit less pressure I'd say next year and if maintains his average with the hopeful improvement from elsewhere will have done his job imo
Brilliant getting cruz in the video. Happy with that team, what you'd gain at reserve you'd lose in top 5. I'm sure professor Harris will be holding several classes over the season with the particularly the reserves. End of the day if they can score 4 points a meeting between them that should be enough!
2 years ago if never have had howarth but has been very good last few visits so sure will provide the back up to bomber.
