  1. If Thomsen puts 4 points on his average this season I'll maybe agree with you
  2. Come the seasons end I reckon will be foord with the higher average. But we'll see
  3. Aww blobbys first "Glasgow's flashing the cash" post of the winter. It's a red letter say 🤣
  4. 4.4 average is above average 🤔. Not doubting that part, but don't come out with bs like numbers when it's simply their preference was an expensive Dane over a young British rider.
  5. Correct chosen to fly in an average Dane in his 30s than use a young British rider.
  6. Maybe he's seen sense and decided to move to the bright lights of possilpark, a lovely part of the world 🙄. It does seem like one HL 3 2nd strings and 3 reserves, particularly away from home. But as mentioned scunny track specialists so win most/ all home meetings and the odd bonus point
  7. Always hoped he would sign for us, Shane is the main reason I fell in love with speedway as a kid and for those who don't know is my profile picture. Hope turns out to be a successful close to his old man
  8. I can't see why have gone for Max Perry personally, didn't show anything last season that was champ ready albeit coming back from a terrible injury. I'm never a fan of 2 2 pointers at reserve as a good reserve can turn a meeting. but 4 out of top 5 imo are capable of improving their averages and should be capable of winning meetings on their own. Definitely more positive than last season if this is the side with 3 of the top British talents should be entertaining to watch at least.
  9. And of course Berwick have never done the same to a Glasgow rider in the past have they... Cough David bellego cough cough lol. It's the way of the sport, we happen to be in position where riders want to come, but we spent many years before being the opposite end with riders being nabbed it taken if showed any promise
  10. Aye that's true wasn't great those meetings, seen many riders signed on the back of one good meeting and be a disaster.
  11. He scored more in 1 meeting guesting at Glasgow than in most of the league season for Berwick, maybe the track suits his style better. He doesn't look the sharpest gater and passing easier at ashfield than shielfield. Can't go on about loyalty here when advertising riders getting dumped on the Poole and Plymouth threads.
  12. With so few teams and riders these days there's no point holding grudges as they'll probably end up riding for your club at some time! I wasn't happy at bomber coming back to Glasgow, Poole fans were unhappy about schlein and Lawson (and probs kerr when it's announced) but they've all turned out well.
  13. You'd rather have 9 points rider averaging 6 than one who averages 9? Strange.
  14. Have to disagree, how can you decide the best rider of 2025 before some of them will have turned a wheel in anger. Don't like that plan at all. And the pairs, was based on 2 of 3 highest averages in the side that year, most of them be lucky if turned out for club they're representing. Only thing less credible would be throwing a team full of guests into a cup competition... Oh wait
  15. Baek can't have an average lower than 4 and be very shocked if bomber wasn't at Glasgow again
