Crowds are noticeably worse at Scunny on a Sunday however
-
I understand that he’s been a little dodgy at the starts though he’s shown bags more speed when in the race like the way he calved up Anderson early doors and the way he pulled away in heat 13 if he just was getting lucky with the starts he would go backwards surely ?!
-
Watching Adam Ellis fly on Eurosport he doesn’t look the same rider that turns up at Scunny he looks so fast and so why doesn’t he do this for Scunny is he just going through the motions and using old machinery because it really is night and day difference
-
I’m not an expert on this but Rob said that they’ve had issues since the start of the year and 3 months to sort it or something ?
-
Yeah he was saying that they had to prove something about Tero’s visa and local MP holly mumby Croft has stepped in to help prove it and it’s sped the process up a lot and he also said she is a big supporter of speedway in Scunthorpe and supports the club

Think you’ve got to consider the torrential rain many people say it’s one of the best tracks in the country and so saying it isn’t after one rain affected meeting is a bit unreasonable on a night like tonight come back in a dry evening and witness some great racing ( I realise you probably can’t given your distance ) but it was one of those nights that the meeting just had to get through

What a win for the Scorpions Poole tried all they could before the meeting complaining about the track but fair play to the ref he was having non of it! Cracking performance from all of the scorpions play offs here we come !
-
Godfrey said last Friday at the meeting the problem occurred when the season started however he had 3 months to get it sorted and 3 months is up and they’ve declined his visa on the grounds he didn’t work here last year however since then the rules have changed meaning he will be accepted so just waiting on it being accepted

Yeah very good point though no reason why Douglas can’t be back he’s the complete rider now in my opinion -

Yeah to be honest at the start of the season I was a big Macdonald out man but he’s going better now looking stronger. For me we really need Ryan Douglas or Stevie Worrall back someone that will be nearly unbeatable around Scunny and pick up solid points away you know a rider that’s strong in the British scene -

I just don’t get Adam Ellis so hit and miss at Scunny and in away meetings for the scorpions! Wins one, last the next heat looks dynamite for Sheffield something fishy in my opinion -

They seem to be pretty dreadful ( my Swedish league knowledge is pretty limited ) but I don’t think they’ve won a match this season have they ?! -
Poor night for the scorpions no heat leaders turned up which eventually cost us. Must say I was impressed with Connor Mountain as the guest scored a handy return and well earned his place in heat 15 wouldn’t mind him in Scorpions colours in the future !
